As an arcade main there’s one technique that beats everything. Boom and zoom cause everyone automatically fights near the ground.
Watching you use RB tactics in AB was painful. But you and your mate's commentary are spot on.
The differences in the two game modes are huge but they both have their fun points.

"Tis absolute clusterfuck..." exactly why I play arcade. Target Rich Environment gamemode, where you can jump in and start blowing shit up right away, and you keep doing that until game ends. You rarely ever run out of things to kill, and RTB is entirely optional.
As an arcade main I can confirm this is the bs I deal with every match while playing as the Us. I think I’ll just buy the Sakeen and move on

If you ever somehow decide to try arcade again, you can disble the aiming reticle in settings

For all the information available, as to where your teammates are and how many enemies are chasing them, players just don't give a **** about helping each other.
In Realistic there's a chance they're not helping because they don't see the enemies on your tail. In Arcade it's more obvious that "teamwork" is an alien concept to all the muppets around you.
Teamwork is for the weak, you have engine, wings and guns on thy plane. The information in arcade if for laughing at your teammates who fail dismally. Seeing a teammate getting wrecked or failing a manuaver against an even worse enemy will never stop being funny
I was sent to an arcade match out of nowhere and it was fricking crazy man everything was like a racing game
As a player who has been grinding japan no premium or anything arcade you are king even in our 61 because funny japan turn.
Just a little piece of advice, I would looove if you add some dynamic subtitles, as a non native english its sometime difficult to follow the whole video and I think that would add a lot! Merry christmas 🎅🏽

Basically, forget everything you know about how to play in RB; put your throttle to WEP your flaps to landing and do the wiggles with your thumb permanently on the trigger! Also, take sea/air sickness pills before you play.😂

As an AB player, I learned to unlearn trigger discipline.

Arcade is a different game mode not a difficulty level and this is serves as fantastic proof
I used to be and arcade main but changed to realistic because it's actually harder to play. That being said I was good at arcade and would get multiple battles a day where I would get at least 20 kills.
Was fun to watch you and The_Warlord struggle a little in the begining, but you were getting the hang of it at the end.

People tend to enjoy arcade more than rb battles because its new player friendly, even if you're being matched with people near your player level, once someone plays arcade long enough, they most likely won't ever bother going Air RB ever. Like me.
I sometimes play rb and sometimes ab depend on the mood if i do good in rb then i keep playing but if i notice that im having a hard time i either swich to arcade or to ground rb, i think what makes arcade more fun is that you don't need to wait 5 minutes and die and that you can respawn
i forgot how fun arcade was, i remember trying to land as fast as 500kmh while getting shot at by 3 planes. fun was something that disappeared on rb matches.

It’s still alright in 7.3 up to 9.3, where I bring my 262s and hunt A-10s in Bf 110.

i play arcade air and realistic ground....ab ground just ends with people slugging it out while ignoring points and rb air is just hard if you aren't in a nimble attack craft.
Same. The only plane I’d only take out in air realistic is the I-153, you should try it

Pro tip mans, change Colour FX setting to Reinhard and to Contrast. Game looks absolutely mint
The Thing With The Lead Indicator That I Found Out Is It Works 50/50 Depends On You're Angle Of Attack And All That Bs So What I Do Is I Aim With My Tracers By Having My Tracers Hit Where The Lead Indicator Is So I'm Usually Aiming Slightly Ahead Of The Lead Indicator
Just get a plane with a canon in the nose…

I've played nothing but Realistic, so I also suck in AB and have no idea what to do. Not only that, but it's not like I can learn all the maps from scratch, because I've played the vast majority of the Air Arcade maps on Ground RB settings at one point or another. So I know the map and I've already got plenty of practice on how to fly on it, but all that ingrained practice is inapplicable.!
As a lvl 9 player, AB is all that I play
That's fine everyone starts out there. You will want to move eventually to RB though, snce it gives better credits and xp. Oh and level doesn't mean anythng besides the amount you have played. Even some lvl 100s make rookie mistakes.

Man, I wish I could turn off cross platform in War Thunder without the game hard locking you into arcade battles. Playing against pilots on PC just isn’t fair at all.

Arcade is for when you want 30% straight flying and 70% dogfighting
RB is when you want 70% straight flying and 30% dog fighting

I was in a yak 9k for the ussr and i had 8 kills with it and once everyone enemy was spawned in they ALL FOCUSED ME and it still took them 3 minutes to kill me, idk how but arcade is literally a massive place of guns and idiots aka AMERICA
