Play the J7-E as its cracked with 4 Pl 5s i love the thing. The A-5C is also good in its own areas it gets 2 magic 1s which are insane, and 18 large countermeasures which work really well. It's got a odd play style in that you basically go up and keep circling until the enemy has drained all speed. It bricks up at high speeds too.
@@WeBeStronk I dont know how true to the real thing it is tho. When i was in the USAF, i got a chance to fly in the back seat of a F-15B and when we went through Mach 1, the only thing that happened was the gauges flipped out for a second as the shock wave traveled past the pitot tubes.

The title "Last Gunfighter" brought me back to an episode with the same name from a History Channel series called Dogfights, and there was a part where one of the pilots had to outmaneuver some Mig-17s after he ran out of missiles and cannon ammo. Also, when you said that it climbs really well, it's because it could climb at an insane rate of 21,000 ft per minute thanks to it's equally insanely powerful engine.

You NEED to try the F8E, its a monster with all the benefits of the variant you played here but with addition of deadly Aim9-c sidewinder missiles. From what i know its the only jet to have a radar aim9c and if used correctly its a ge uine monster. Love the videos.
In my opinion, now that its wings don't rip, the F8U2 should go to 10.3. The F4D-1 Skyray could go up a bit too while they're at it; I'd say at least 9.3 to get it away from all the straight-wing 8.0 jets.

Any player with a brain can easily rack up a high KDR in this thing . in a downtier your are untouchable and follow the meta of "good enough at everything" . so it's a straight forward case to balance but gaijin just sucks
The f8u, from my experience and being its my favorite top tier as of right now, is an amazing dogfighter. I usually fly around a max height of 3000m-4000m (9800ft-13100ft roughly) until I see a mig-21 or other aircraft. It can surprisingly dogfight most aircraft extremely well and its guns are amazing. The aim9ds are really good for being a sneaky goober and getting some easy kills. I usually get 4-6 kills per game. Its an absolute monster when flown like a monster ;)
You should change the multiplier of your throttle axis. You can go anywhere between 101 and 110% after burner. That mess makes fuel usage alot more tactical. 110 % is good for full acceleration or dogfight. But something like 105% still keeps you fast by like reduced 25% fuel consumption. Some jets have such insane fuel consumption while very limited on fuel load it's impossible to fully utilize them otherwise ;)
7:16 while the trees look better, they are invisible to the AI so you cant use them as cover and some trees still have no hitbox, or ones far larger than the tree itself.
WEBE I was wondering if you could play the F.58 Hunter in Germany, it’s an incredible plane at br 9.7, 20g missiles with a mile lock range 60 flares and a really good turn time, it doesn’t have an after burner but its energy retention is also really good.

This jet is a bit off a beast it my favorite one to use i average about 2 to 3 kills a games with the odd 5 kills it really suits my playstyle you want to go high and to the side and send those aim9D people below and distracted. they tend not to look up it loves to clime and can hange and turn anything in a long dogfight am only really worried of mig21bis and a competent mirage pilot and other F8 fighters the rest easy picking
I would say the f-5 is the last. In the tech tree at least. It only gets 2 missiles and if its the C the aim-9e is useless and your only kills are going to be guns.
I hate top tier. Top tier hasn't been decent since the F-86 and MiG-15 were the top rung, and even then, it was getting dodgy. I don't understand the appeal of point and click gameplay that is devoid of skill. And please, don't try to tell me that key management is skill. No, it isn't. You can take the same top-tier missilier clowns, drop them into a 5.0 flying 109's against Yaks, Spits, and Mustangs, and they don't even know how to energy trap, because they don't know how to fly anything that can't climb at 40,000 ft/min

Sad the su25k and su25 gets uptiered to a jet like this just because it gets better R60s than other jets at its br. But yeah, j7 is amazing
that plain does do the jiggles as you transition to Mach. then it stops past Mach. 1

This thing ruins the 9.3-10.0 br range it's insane (the 9.0s rarely get full uptiers from my experience)

Yeah, it's quite literally the most OP plane in the game at the moment for it's BR rating. The F8U2 needs bumped up quite a bit.

The Ai on your RWR means AIR INTERCEPTOR
This is actually the better crusader since f-8e has a worse airframe and i 0.7 br higher but gains very bad radar missiles (aim9c)
