5:53 lol 250m is like 1 the last of us game, maybe I'm willing to parley 2 or 3 no more than 4 of the riot forge games, and maybe if this was 6+ years ago games weren't that expensive then. but still im more on the side of arcane overachieved if those 250m are real, when idk if games would have done the same i loved the games that did came out of forge and they didn't achieved the same as arcane did nor do i think it was possible for them to do so
Me before Arcane only knew LOL as a shit game with toxic fanbase(never played the game) but me now still think LOL as shit game with toxic fanbase(still havent played) but with top-tier lore that I now know everything from Noxus, Ionia, Shadow Isles, probably as much lore I can consume and I am genuinely interested in that world, if there are other games dropping(Story or Indie), I will definitely play instead of Ignoring because its lol now
i dont really think they started making arcane as "yoo lets expand and make tv series that would certanly bring more players" i think Link started this because he was fan of the story like most of us, and when people started to talk about money how much it was made with, that it didnt bring soo many players and etc. they just lost the core purpose of the tv show the lore and story, like sure when season 1 was praised that much they must have thought like "oh thats good i wonder if it will bring more players" but there is people like me who doesnt playing league but still follow every tiny bit of lore they dropping everytime, thats why i think that those 250m was worth it even if it didnt bring much players
Here's my thoughts, league should still go with a dress to impress mini style game in client or whateva, but if you make a good design post it on *platform* andost votes could get a skin made of it?
