Uhm, no; as Mary is my Running Challenge representative, I’m good thanks 😁 I just admire the people who are putting it out there in all its gory (and hilarious) glory. Who knew it would be so satisfying watching a group of people suffer for a challenge? As an aside, I burst out laughing at Akesha’s walking activity that was affected by avians…pictures or it didn’t happen 😂
Best Strava Run Title: "Encountering a Black bear alone in the woods and questioning my life decisions." My heart rate was fairly high on the last half of that run.
I absolutely adored watching this video - amazing effort from absolutely everyone and it was so cool to see all different types of exercise and preferences. Thank you so much everyone, I hope the next challenge is filmed in a similar fashion ☺️🌻
Y'all are beasts! This channel is what really got me into running, currently training for my second half marathon and hopefully a marathon within the next year!
Loved this video.. great to see people who I recognise from the community in their environment. Smashed it Shayne.. you legend..! I would love to give this a go..
Very nice video! You really found some cool and interesting participants! My Strava titles are usually boring, but I do have some nice descriptions. For example a quote from a friend after a short, but hilly race: "How do I explain to my family that I'd rather run and puke, than spend time with them?" (He'd said no to an Easter dinner to participate)
I suspect I may be the only runner who's not on strava! 😂 Loved this challenge. Great to see an Aussie getting amongst it. 😁 I set myself a "run every day in July" challenge. After 230km of fun I thought I might as well keep going. So now it's "run every day in August". I have fibromyalgia and moving everyday helps keep my joints and muscles from seizing. Thanks for all the motivation TRC! 👍
C’Mon Shayne! Great work mate. Showing that is Aussie’s have got it. I would love to be considered to make sure that us aussies go 2-0. Although not quite sure I could get all that evaluation and/or wildlife in my videos haha
Love this idea! Would love to be a part of the next challenge - am definitely a slow chunky runner but would love to give this a go as a way of kickstarting my motivation whilst trying to work my sessions around life as a dad of two small children and working in a hospital.
Ooh, really inspired me to get out and run on not a very inspiring day! Well done guys! I'd definitely do something like this - I probably wouldn't be anywhere near the top of the leaderboard, but the inspiration to keep going would be amazing!
Love this feature. We just did a month long running challenge at work, and now they've got us trying to train up for a murph 🥵 I grumble but I love it.
Kudos guys on a great video and for your efforts 👌 Congrats on winning the challenge Shayne 🇦🇺 After a rotten day at work, my fave strava run title is "Log Off 💻 Jog On 🏃♀️"
Oh loved this! Would love to be part of the next challenge - feeling a bit of a dump on my half-marathon training and this could really help get the motivation back up! :D
I watch your videos while getting ready to go for a run and it always motivates me to get out the door! Just back from a lovely misty trail run. Bliss!
Awesome video! And so motivating! Great to see people very different locations represented. Would love to be considered for the next challenge as a someone who is a very average runner.
These challenge videos are so entertaining!! I’ve recently got into running and have been enjoying it for a year. Decided to run 1000 miles in the space of 10 months for mental health this year as a way to keep on going through those wetter days and stay active
Great challenge, loved watching that. My favourite run title has to be "Leisurely Lunchtime Leazes Lollop" for a 5k in the park near my office. Gotta love a bit of alliteration
What an incredible way to motivate everyone! Keep up the good work guys. I stopped a run recently as I found a lost dog, managed to reunite with its owner. Then got back out.
What a fun way to test out the new group challenge feature. As always, an enjoyable video. Laughed when Sarah tapped the GoPro and said "I'm talking to you"
I love that you all are getting the communuty involved! I would also love the opportunity to participate in the next challenge! I am a 22 year old Master's of Education student in the US. I grew up a baseball player, but have since gotten into Obstacle Course Racing and some casual running. I just moved to Denver, Colorado and am balancing the altitude adjustment with training for my first marathon and (of course) my schoolwork! Thanks for the consideration, and keep up the great work!
I’d love to do a challenge like this 🙌🏻 I set up something similar at work over the summer and it was amazing to see so many people smash their expectations, take up new activities and generally have loads of fun 😁
3 marathons in a year - Edinburgh Dec, Edinburgh May and London this October, 1 charity climb of Kilimanjaro plus more marathons next year - got into running through watching your videos - plus I bloody love a challenge 😂
Great video guys. Really enjoyed it. Best Strava run title: chatty recovery run with Kath and Douglas. One of us blagged a biscuit from a stranger.....not saying who
Ya’ll are amazing. Love this concept! It’s been a while since I’ve cleverly titled a Strava run since I tend to keep most of my stuff hidden as I’m training for an 18 miler and then 2 trail 25k races (it’s a lot of very slow, unimpressive easy runs). Choose me for your next community challenge if you like sarcasm, general whinging and poop talk ala Allie Bailey, and footage of my frequent running partner, a ADHD afflicted Siberian Husky!
Would love to be picked for the next challenge. Think it would be good to push myself, and of course show the beautiful trails and paths of North Carolina!
Challenges are most definitely fun and a good way to push your body towards injury and miss. I would love to take part next time round. Best Strava activity 'Bakers dozen run 13 done'
I would love nothing more than getting stuck into a challenge. Pushing myself is something I don’t do often enough so this would be the perfect reason to start!!
My favourite strava title has got to be "Lets be negative - now that sounds wrong" (2021 waiting on routine covid test). Always up for new awesome challenges and I love sharing with others the views I'm experiencing on a run, representing us deaf runners with a dose of funny thoughts out loud! I love Shayne on here though!
Wow, definitely up for a challenge! I'm 22, live in Newcastle and I'm a uni student. I ran when I was younger then took a long (about 10ish year!) break as I decided to focus on netball and swimming but I took up running again a few years ago and re-caught the running bug! Would love to give this a go as seeing others accomplish their goals always motivates me get out there:) Also.. fave strava title after a grueling run: "Lady and the Cramp".. happy running!
Hello :) I would love to take part in your next challenge. I started running properly in the first lockdown and have been watching your videos ever since!
This was awesomeee!! Great video and it was really great to be part of this challenge!! Thanks again!! Can I suggest maybe short speed runs for the next challenge….Hahahahaa just a thought 😂😂
Would love to be a part of your next Strava challenge! Just what I need to get my competitive side out of the Covid slumber 😅 greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 - so of course, I would go for the most elevation gained 😉
As I am currently in a running rut as you would speak! something like this would definitely help keep me motivated and I love the idea as I am way too competitive ! Also to link to the rut I am in my strava title today consisted of purely emojis to highlight the enjoyment / pain of the run, which included running in a downpour !
My favorite strava titles - "Thesis Defense Celebration Hike", "Who needs long runs when you can do speed repeats" (Garmin coach killed me), and "California street" (I decided to run 5miles to the end of my street and 5miles back)
I was feeling too tired to run today but I love these challenges and it's motivated me to go for a run right now. Would love to do a Strava challenge with you guys but not sure I could keep up !
Loved the community members they were all fab - hope we get to see them again! Best Strava title probably “Wombles & deer! 🦌 “ for a run round Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park 😅
The "I shouldn't have waited till this evening" run is one of my favourites, I'm much better at running in the morning, but also love my bed too much 🤣
Thoroughly enjoyed this vid. Quite intimidating I'm nowhere near those paces!!! I loved Shane's videos amazing indeed. My usual strava titles range from - Thank goodness it's Sunday Run to post run photosess and OMG P.B because a dog chased me 🙈🙊🙉
Loved the video, even I would love to be a part of this. Ask u asked why should I be a part of it, so the answer is that I am teenage runner and am in love with this sport and if you would make me a part of this I might persue running as my carrier and simply you guys can shape my future😅, so chose wisely!!
I'd also love to be a part of a future challenge. It was great to see another Aussie part of the challenge this time! I think that this would be the perfect way to engage in the running/ exercise community. I'm an amateur runner, gymnastics loving and dabble in some other fitness such as weight training, cycling and occasionally swimming. Currently in lockdown east coast of Australia, all my exercise is alone or on zoom. Outside of that, working in the medical field, I'm still heading to work everyday. It would be the perfect motivation and push up the behind to keep active, engage in something so positive for my mental health particularly with the isolation that has come from the pandemic.
Would you like to take part in our next community challenge? Let us know why we should choose you in the comments below!
Uhm, no; as Mary is my Running Challenge representative, I’m good thanks 😁

Strava segment to the beer garden.....running shoes out, 2 miles for a stout
Yes! With almost all events still being cancelled I like a new challenge :) and I need a good reason to throw down an ultra :p
I would love to compete! I’m not fast, but I could use some motivation like this!
I love running, i love challenges and i love the running channel. Period!
Best Strava Run Title: "Encountering a Black bear alone in the woods and questioning my life decisions." My heart rate was fairly high on the last half of that run.
I am so glad to see Kate again. I was missing her lately!
I follow her on Strava, she runs a lot!
I’m in for the “recovering from injury” challenge! Well done everyone!
PLATYPUS! Thanks, Shayne! Ohh Sarah’s comment about everyone doing it in their own way! Yess! Loved this so much!
This is a great idea for a video, getting to see runners from around the world just reinforces what a great community we are! 😊
This is awesome!! TRC changed my life. Im down 120lbs and counting. Im also running my first race ever next month!! A half in San Francisco.
Best of luck for the half! Do let us know how it goes 😀
Brilliant video as always guys 👍🏻
That was a lot of fun. I love seeing where people run. Some really lovely video of the UK and I loved the footage from Australia.
Best Strava activity - "Morning Run - Chased by Bullmastiff's" - guaranteed to get you running for sure!
Haha! Umm that sounds like PB territory!
I absolutely adored watching this video - amazing effort from absolutely everyone and it was so cool to see all different types of exercise and preferences. Thank you so much everyone, I hope the next challenge is filmed in a similar fashion ☺️🌻
Congratulations Shayne!! Thank you for showing us your wildlife along the way (love those kangaroos just chillin’ :). Well done everyone!!
Thanks for watching Lisa!
That was really fun to watch guys. Kudos to all!
And you are right Andy, it’s a good way to stay motivated.
Y'all are beasts! This channel is what really got me into running, currently training for my second half marathon and hopefully a marathon within the next year!
Great Cici, really glad we've been able to help 😁 Good luck with your training! Where is the half marathon?
This has been one of my favourite episodes. Could be like a pentathlon challenge. Different events each day.
Loved this video.. great to see people who I recognise from the community in their environment. Smashed it Shayne.. you legend..! I would love to give this a go..

Another great video! Really appreciate it, thanks everyone involved 😊
Great concept! Really cool video idea to include community members!
I just started running about 6 months ago and found this page which has become a haven for me. Love you guys!!
Awesome! Thank you!
i would adore more challenges on strava from you guys! this was a lot of fun to watch!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Love this idea! Would love to be a part of the next challenge - am definitely a slow chunky runner but would love to give this a go as a way of kickstarting my motivation whilst trying to work my sessions around life as a dad of two small children and working in a hospital.

You are all monsters. Geez. Good job to all of you! It was fun to see that there is a variety of monsters out there though 😄
Haha - glad you enjoyed it!
Kudos guys on a great video and for your efforts 👌 Congrats on winning the challenge Shayne 🇦🇺
After a rotten day at work, my fave strava run title is "Log Off 💻 Jog On 🏃♀️"
Great video, making challenges with various other ppl. U guys got me really motivated to get out today no matter how bad the weather is today
So glad we motivated you Rafal. It’s what we’re here for!

@@runningchannel Thank you! Probably the fastest time, would lose dramatically but could push me to get a better 5K PB haha!!

Just back from a lovely misty trail run. Bliss!
Great to hear that Shirley!

Looks like a lot of fun and great motivation. Congrats to all!
What a fun way to test out the new group challenge feature. As always, an enjoyable video. Laughed when Sarah tapped the GoPro and said "I'm talking to you"
Thanks for watching Jason!
This is a great video series concept. Nothing like a little competition to get the legs moving.
I love that you all are getting the communuty involved! I would also love the opportunity to participate in the next challenge! I am a 22 year old Master's of Education student in the US. Great to hear Issy! Keep going 💪
It's refreshing to see some interaction with the viewers 🥳🙌
I’d love to be part of this challenge because I love connecting with fellow runners, I live in a beautiful place on cape cod and I LOVE running!!!
Would love to be picked for the next challenge. Think it would be good to push myself, and of course show the beautiful trails and paths of North Carolina!

The challenge videos are great fun. Fair play to whoever had to edit and compile all this footage, too! 😳 🙌
Glad you enjoyed!
This new strava feature is really cool! I don’t have it myself but is good motivation for others.
Fantastic vid. Fantastic idea. Great motivation 👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you liked it!
Love this video! Best title I ever gave to a strava activity was ‘I literally did this running on the spot’ - haha
Thanks so much for watching Josie! Great to hear you'd be up for a challenge 😊

Hahaha! Thanks so much for joining us Akesha! I think we all need to get down to the track with some hurdles next time for sure!
Great work everyone! Looks like I need to give Strava a try.
Such a fun challenge, it is fantastic to see all the great running areas around the world!
International motivation video! A brilliant idea from the running channel team. Rick needs to do double when he can run again.
Would love to be a part of your next Strava challenge! Just what I need to get my competitive side out of the Covid slumber 😅 greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 - so of course, I would go for the most elevation gained 😉
Kudos to everyone who took part!👍🏼💯
This was a really cool idea... come on South Africa! Where you runners at?
Great vid. Really enjoyed
What a lovely challenge!! I'm dying to be part of one, next time! Here on thr other shore of the Atlantic 😊😊!
Great video! Now I gotta set up my own group challenge!
You should Amanda! Thanks so much for watching!
This was a fantastic video. I love this idea.

Well done everybody. Favourite name for one of my Strava runs. "The Yule Jog" 🎅🌈🎅
you guys are the best motivation for our marathon prep
I was feeling too tired to run today but I love these challenges and it's motivated me to go for a run right now. Would love to do a Strava challenge with you guys but not sure I could keep up !
Ahh that’s amazing! Hope you have a lovely run! 😀
Go Shayne!! Awesome job buddy, injury & illness and you still took out top spot! 🏆👏
Loved the community members they were all fab - hope we get to see them again!

Great title! 👏
The "I shouldn't have waited till this evening" run is one of my favourites, I'm much better at running in the morning, but also love my bed too much 🤣
Awesome video! Well done everyone!
All you guy were awesome. Best Strava title. The Scooby run. Because I can’t wait to get home and eat all the snacks.
Haha love that title!
Loved this video and this challenge!
Thoroughly enjoyed this vid. Quite intimidating I'm nowhere near those paces!!! I loved Shane's videos amazing indeed.
My usual strava titles range from - Thank goodness it's Sunday Run to post run photosess and OMG P.B because a dog chased me 🙈🙊🙉
Great video as usual 😃
Amazing motivater
I started running 2 years ago after a life changing injury to aid recovery
I am teenage long distance runner
I run 10miles a week
Fantastic! Thanks for watching!
Looks a great way to encourage and push each other on... my best title was "cool running, no bobsleigh" on a nice a breezy summers day
Loved the video, even I would love to be a part of this. Ask u asked why should I be a part of it, so the answer is that I am teenage runner and am in love with this sport and if you would make me a part of this I might persue running as my carrier and simply you guys can shape my future😅, so chose wisely!!
This video made me go out for a second run today… not on strava though… started with another app a couple of years back and I am sticking to it ;)
