For anyone who hasnt played Stardew Valley, now's a good time to pick it up, as it recently had a really big update (years after its release, still being supported) and the dev has another game coming in 2026 "Haunted Chocolatier". I believe stardew is based on ideas in harvest moon, as are some others. And some draw from animal crossing, I think dinkum did that. I have limited play in this one, but "my time at portia" is one to look into. They did make another "my time at sandrock" and have a third one coming up soon which looks to carry more on from Portia, called "my time at evershine" "Farm together" is a very relaxed farming sim. They released a sequel, but at the time of release i saw some reviews saying it wasnt that much different from the first.
If you guys love StarDew Valley, Sun Haven is a very fun cozy game with very similar mechanics to enjoy as well, where you start a farm or mine or explore. It's very similar in premise, but has cuter sprites and more places to travel.
Lots of bugs that have been there since 1.0, community translators not being credited, and boatloads of DLC. Sure the DLC is purely cosmetic but it's downright insane at how many they pump out while their game is still a buggy mess.
@snappishorc6656 They're still updating the game, so give it time, they'll fix those things. I didn't play it for a whole two years and the game has been greatly overhauled. I would argue in many regards it outshines Stardew Valley, because you can't leave Stardew, but you can travel to other places in Sun Haven.
Wounderful vid i also would have Put the Game Cloud gardens in Its a Relaxing Game where you let Plant grow over a world with everyone gone you get new plants and new Objects along the was its great to shut down
