I'm limited to playing Switch games, so while I'm glad more cozy games are coming out, I wish more of them came to the Switch at launch. It's hard to get excited for games I may never be able to play.

Thanks for the feedback - just so you know where I’m coming from, videos like this are often highlighting games that haven’t announced what platforms they’re on as they are early in development. So it doesn’t mean they’re not coming to the switch just we simply don’t know! Also sometimes highlighting games have an audience who wants it on the switch helps massively to get them on the switch. So plenty more switch exclusive vids coming in the future dw

What could’ve been even better with Tiny Glade would be if you could have little people walking into and living life in your creations once you’re done creating. ex. Turning on and off lights and using whatever you place inside and ouside the home.

I am sooo hyped about Tiny Glade because I have been waiting for several years. I discovered the account of the devs on tik tok when it was barely anything. No kidding, this is the first game I actually wait actively. The devs are indies and they have put so much work in it. I hope it has a big success, they really deserve it!

Can't wait for it to come out. I hadn't heard of Creatures of Ava but want to check it out, so thanks for bringing that game to my attention.
✨I have a recommendation that might peak your interest. "HOOKAH HAZE"!✨ Don't let the name fool you. It is a super cozy relaxing and CHILL visual novel game. very similar to Coffee Talk but minus the coffee and shop simulation- more character connection driven. The "Hookah" part of this game is really just a setting for a really heartfelt emotional story. There is a Free Demo out already on Steam and Switch and the game itself releases in a couple weeks ;)
I'm so excited for Tiny Bookshop! Another game coming out like it is called Wax Heads, and it's about running a vinyl record shop - both are dreams come true for me!
I just bought Sea of Stars for Nintendo Switch. I haven't gotten into it yet because I haven't been feeling my best lately but can't wait because I hear it's one of the best reminiscents of what a Jrpg is supposed to be plus it was only released last year.
I'm glad to hear other people are excited about Amber isle! I played the demo cause cute dinos, duh! But it really blew me away, it looks adorable, I love all the characters and it really did give that animal crossing vibe that I have missed so much.
I played the demo for On your tail on Switch. I really enjoyed it but it did get a little glitchy in some locations so hopefully they'll be fixing that before release

I'd really like for tinyglade to add little people like they do with sheep so we can see tiny little (uncontrollable" humans milling around our creations as if they live there. I love tinyglade and making beautiful homes and villages but it feels empty without people.

Tiny Bookshop is a bit frustrating to me in terms of updates. I've seen people asking questions about its release since 2023 and they don't have a set date. So it has been around for a bit...I'm hesitant to believe a 2024 release. :(
It's really not! No more than stardew is story of seasons. They're both farming sims, but the social and game mechanics outside of those basics differ quite a bit. I'd say it's like a mix of stardew, animal crossing, and a bit of rune factory (plus it's town is its own thing, so much dialogue it's wonderful). I'm only 10 hours in or so, and think it's a great addition to the cozy farming landscape (particularly compared to all the overt knock offs). It is early access though, so the game isn't done yet. But the devs seem very committed and they're up to ~40 hours of content now. I'm also a huge sucker for their decorating and outfits, which is a bit more fun than in stardew due to the art. I say this as someone who has probably 1000 hours in stardew across different platforms 😅 I definitely hate the pure knock offs, but this isn't that.
