I liked a little to the left. My advice? Play it slowly. When you’re done, put it down and wait 2 months or so to pick it back up. I blasted through it and then replayed it too soon which was way worse a play experience than if I had played a chapter then waited a day before playing the next one.
I'd never heard of a little to the left before, it looks like such a satisfying game. Kinda reminds me of Unpacking, my absolute favorite cozy game to play.

I dunno if this would be considered cozy or comfy to others but one of my absolute fave comfort game series is the Room games (not affiliated or related to the movie). They're these mystery puzzle box games, theres currently 4 games plus 1 VR game. The first game in the series is pretty cheap and its a good introduction to the world but it's sequels are such huge improvements, my personal faves are the 3rd and 4th. The asthetics are spooky but theres no real horror in them, they are very well made and i love them with my whole heart. Im hoping theres another one in the works.

surprised to see A Short Hike not mentioned, it's a great game that i LOVED playing through. as you can guess, it's about hiking, but along your journey you meet various people with their own stories and challenges all the way to the summit of the mountain. it's amazing, and a little emotional.
I let Gourdlets run in the background when I have other things to do on the computer and come back to it for a couple of minutes every now and then. Like that, it's a lot of fun.
I grew up in farm country. I got OUT of that area as soon as possible. The very last thing I want to do for coziness is.. farm. So some of these sound good.
spiritfarer 100% OMG so cozy. its so sweet n sad and comforting i love it. you run a ship that tranports spirits to the afterlife. you get really attached to them and each character has such a unique story and personality. you can build up your ship and travel the world with them and meet so many other characters. also your character has a pet cat so extra points. this game literally had me in happy/sad tears at the end
A game I feel would fit seamlessly into this list is GNOG! It's a whimsically charming game about solving 'puzzle boxes,' except these puzzle boxes could be anything ranging from a frog's head to a submarine, to a candy shop. It has beautiful visuals, satisfying solutions, and feels very in line with the tone/vibe of the other games you recommended!
Tiny Glade looks... Extremely good for extremely specific things. (The game that I'd consider if not a cozy game then at the minimum on the periphery is Sapling. An evolution sim where you can design creatures and - in the sandbox mode - watch them gradually evolve over eons. There's a more involved scenario mode where you're designing creatures and ecosystems to fullfil goals, but using the sandbox mode as a sort of virtual fishbowl is the heart of the game for me.
I highly recommend Beacon Pines. It's an intriguing story game with many branching paths and beautiful art. It can get sad at times but it's amazing nonetheless.

That first game reminds me of the idea I had a while back for a game where you start by building the world, preferably medieval fantasy then you start the game spawning in as the world is simulated. Ecosystems and quests are dynamically generated, quests mainly when something is out of balance for instance too many predators, or not enough food. If the world isn't well balanced it could cause a collapse of different systems.
@@CozyDesignStudios all you would need to do is keep track of the number of each animal and a couple other variables, when the population of an animal gets too high or too low you post a quest, do the same for any other type of quest, for instance if a child character moves too far from town then you can have a quest starting with where they left town and have them leave clues like footprints or broken branches with cloth on them. It would be a lot of variables, but if you just have a trigger when certain variables reach certain values you should be able to make a variety of quests dynamically.
I am working on a simple RPG with a simulated wilderness and dynamic quests using the population of animals. I plan to expand to keep track of the villages supplies, with npcs going hunting and gathering.
damn well yea it sounds like youve put alot of thought into it haha you clearly know your shit, make sure to let me know if you ever post your game somewhere I really wanna check it out when its ready!
Lil’ Gator Game! It’s got the exploration, climbing, gliding, and sliding of Breath of the Wild, but none of the fall damage. It centers around a bunch of kids at the park playing a huge fantasy game. It’s so cute, and wholesome, and fun!
As someone who do music, i adore the consept of Odadda! Making music nowdays is so easy, more people should try it. And cute little games like this can help ALOT in bringing people in :)
If you haven't played A Short Hike, you will probably love it. You basically just explore an island, slowly developing your ability to move through it, while encountering charming characters. Only game where I completed everything because I didn't want to stop playing. Still boot it up to run and fly around and play the minigames from time to time, despite there being nothing left to achieve, just because the vibes are so damn good It is kinda short, but way less so than I assumed. It took a while for me to find every single thing, tho if you're searching more meticulously it might take less. Tho part of the fun is to just chill and move around and then going "oh neat, something I didn't find yet"
“Mutazione” is a story game where you go around and talk to everyone, if that is something you like. However my favorite is “Alba: a wildlife adventure”, where you walk around an island and take photos of animals, with a broader story about the island’s habitat:)
I’m playing a lot of supermarket simulator while waiting for Luma Island to release this month. Luma island has farming in it but you get to pick your profession. Baking, fisher, miner, etc. I’m planning to spend quite a bit of time on that game.
I used to produce SO much music last year and then one day all of the motivation and creativity sort of just… dried up. Im really looking forward to trying Oddada and seeing if any of that creative spark comes back!
I pesonally love Tsuki Odyssey. While it technically has a farm, and you could plant several differnt crops, you could also only plant carrots, which are used as the currency in the game. You collect the carrots and new ones are planted immediately, all with 1 click, and then you can buy cute things to decorate your tree house with, or interact with your friends. They regularly have new seasonal events on, with event specific furniture and decorations you can buy to decorate your and your friends' houses with. And if I don't want to play for a couple of days, I don't.
Just discovered this channel, totally my vibe! The video is just as cozy as the games. I liked your explanations, really clearly showing the uniqueness of each game and their appeal. Will def be binge-watching the rest of your videos. Oh, and I hope you don't mind me saying but damn you're a handsome guy ^^;
A Little to the Left is such a great game. I'm glad I bought it packaged with both the DLC, but now I'm sad I finished all the puzzles (minus the dailies). Farming in games has always been my least favorite part. I would love it if there were more games where you were a villager doing any other job you wanted and socializing with everyone. It's why I was so excited for the Fantasy Life game that got announced. I'd much rather play a tailor making and designing clothing than growing crops or taking care of livestock.
Have you played far: lone sails? That's probably my favourite cozy game i think it's a really beautiful mix of being intellectually stumulating while also giving you these moments of respite where you enjoy the design of the game. There is some peril i guess, but i would definitely say it's a cosy game! I also saw someone else recommebd kingdom two crown i also would recommend that game.
Omg yes I covered that game in a past video but I absolutely agree it's a cozy game. I loved every second playing it the vibes were *chefs kiss* I haven't tried the other one tho maybe I'll have to give it a look!

cracks me up that you spent 5 minutes talking about a music making game and didn't include any examples of the music! thanks for the video, these all look great :)
These look great - some are on my wishlist. I just bought one on Steam for $4.99 called Burger Shop 3 and it’s so fun, kind of like a one hand mouse game so you have a hand free for snacks 🤪 similar to Papa’s Freezeria with an unlock system kind of like BTD6 - I don’t know but it’s so fun and satisfying to me. I think it’s kind of new.
hi!! i really liked this video! i’m definitely gonna check out oddada! i’ve wanted to learn how to make music for a long time but any music software has only confused me more, i’m gonna give it a shot! i will say, i put videos on in the background while i do chores around the house and when you would start talking about a new game, you wouldn’t mention the title verbally as you introduced it so i’d have to pop back into the room to see if it was a game i’d heard of or not before. also this is my first video of yours i’ve watched, so if you haven’t played Kingdom: two crowns, i’d suggest checking it out! it’s definitely what my bf and i go to when we need a cozy game to play for a few hours :) keep making great videos!!
Hey thanks so much im really glad you enjoyed the video 😁 thats a really great point haha ill think about ways i can mention the names more right up front, and ooo great recommendation! ill definitely check it out, maybe my girlfriend will like playing it with me like your SO does haha. Thanks so much for the comment i hope you enjoy the other videos on the channel!
Have you tried Equilinox? It’s a game where you build environments, the plants and animals can mutate to funny colors, and the solo developer made a video log of the development.
I've never played core keeper, though it's on my list haha, but maybe check out animal well. It's a metroidvainia with no combat just exploration and impeccable vibes. It's mostly platforming so it may not be the best match here but I find it to be a great game to chill on the couch with
I'm a little sad, because I have looked for games like Tiny Glade for mobile so many times. There's a few similar games, but this one looks exactly what I have wanted for when I'm at work on a lunch break.
@msSimJohnson Yeah. I've used it a few times. I kind of works. Sort of a better than nothing option. And neither of them really allow me to make as big of a map as I would like. But Townscraoer doesn't have any customization to it outside of color. You basically just tap to add a level and that's it. Worse comes to worse I'll likely get one of the portable gaming devices for windows and I can then just use that.
I’m in between. I *love* farming games but 90% of “farming games” are just doing it to copy Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon. But those copies never have the same polish and finish SDV and HM have. Often it’s added in as an afterthought to an entirely different game, which is fine, but then it gets marketed as “indie games with farming” and I end up in a game *not about farming* with 15-30 dollars less in my wallet
My Time at Portia and Ooblets are two examples, at least I think so. Portia also puts a big emphasis on surrounding regions but I don’t think you visit them in the game itself. That’s fine but the emphasis in-game makes you feel like Portia the game is smaller than it could be, because the allure of “nearby” countries is there. Again maybe I’m wrong, I haven’t beaten it anyway.
Ok hear me out. Death Stranding is the coziest non-cozy game I've every played. Controlled chaos that feels calming. Maybe it's the contrast between threat and peace that gives off that unique feeling. Ok maybe you shouldn't listen to me. I'm clearly not the target demographic. lol.
Nono I totally agree haha I don't think you have to be TOTALLY without stress or combat for the game to be cozy, I vibe out so hard when walking around in death stranding and I could absolutely see spending a ton of time in it totally in the zone walking around haha
Try out "Alchemist Simulator" Not Potion Craft, the name is just Alchemist Simulator, it's so cute, so cozy, and so funny, it just happened to release at the same time as Potion Craft and I think it's a shame that they didn't get as much attention because of that
my non-farming cozy game of choice is called Moonstone Island! Think of it like cozy Pokémon! You are an alchemist who leaves home for the first time and find yourself on a sky island town, where you are tasked with defeating and capturing “spirits” on the other sky islands all around you. The confrontations with spirits are structured like a Pokémon battle, with your moves dealt to you out of a deck of cards. The game has stardew-esque relationship building, and you *can* farm crops, but it’s not massively important to the game, just convenient! As someone who loves Stardew and Pokémon, I think it is so perfect and so underrated, so I take every chance I get to sing its praises!
oh yea i really liked playing that one! im not much into turn-based games but there was somthing really unique and entertaining about flying around to all the different islands

I think it’s kind of new.
this was necessary, theyre all farming
hi!! i really liked this video! i’m definitely gonna check out oddada! i’ve wanted to learn how to make music for a long time but any music software has only confused me more, i’m gonna give it a shot! i will say, i put videos on in the background while i do chores around the house and when you would start talking about a new game, you wouldn’t mention the title verbally as you introduced it so i’d have to pop back into the room to see if it was a game i’d heard of or not before.
also this is my first video of yours i’ve watched, so if you haven’t played Kingdom: two crowns, i’d suggest checking it out! it’s definitely what my bf and i go to when we need a cozy game to play for a few hours :) keep making great videos!!
It's actually on my wishlist rn haha it looks super interesting I can't wait to give it a try!
I wish there was a good cozy adventuring game like Core Keeper meets A Good Game. (Aww, DUNKIN on Core Keeper!!)
I've never played core keeper, though it's on my list haha, but maybe check out animal well. It's a metroidvainia with no combat just exploration and impeccable vibes. It's mostly platforming so it may not be the best match here but I find it to be a great game to chill on the couch with
@@CozyDesignStudios animal well would be a good pick.
If you like puzzles you should try fez
I'm a little sad, because I have looked for games like Tiny Glade for mobile so many times. There's a few similar games, but this one looks exactly what I have wanted for when I'm at work on a lunch break.
Ahhh yea that might be a bit difficult to pull off locally on mobile, you could look into game streaming? Maybe that would work for you
Have you tried Townscaper? It's not the same, but has a similar vibe and it's on mobile
@msSimJohnson Yeah. I've used it a few times. I kind of works. Sort of a better than nothing option. And neither of them really allow me to make as big of a map as I would like. But Townscraoer doesn't have any customization to it outside of color. You basically just tap to add a level and that's it.
Worse comes to worse I'll likely get one of the portable gaming devices for windows and I can then just use that.
omg i need A Little to the Left right MEOW 🤩

Makes me so sad that Tiny Glade and Gourdlets aren’t available on Nintendo Switch!
I knowwww
Ok hear me out. Death Stranding is the coziest non-cozy game I've every played. Controlled chaos that feels calming. Maybe it's the contrast between threat and peace that gives off that unique feeling.
Ok maybe you shouldn't listen to me. I'm clearly not the target demographic. lol.
Nono I totally agree haha I don't think you have to be TOTALLY without stress or combat for the game to be cozy, I vibe out so hard when walking around in death stranding and I could absolutely see spending a ton of time in it totally in the zone walking around haha
Can you make a video about farming games that aren’t cozy now
Haha I guess I'll have to, that's two requests now haha
@CozyDesignStudios I’m pitching atomicrops for that one
@2shy2guy52 I'll definitely check it out haha thanks!
Odd question but anybody know where I can buy that white shirt? 😅
Hahaha I got it from a site called Olderbest I love the stuff they sell it's all got a really nice feel and retro vibe haha
Try out "Alchemist Simulator"
Not Potion Craft, the name is just Alchemist Simulator, it's so cute, so cozy, and so funny, it just happened to release at the same time as Potion Craft and I think it's a shame that they didn't get as much attention because of that
MY HERO!!!
I ❤️ cozyville
Cozyville for the WIN!
skyrim!! it lets me make bread and soup.
okay, so, i know its not a new game or anything but would u consider neko atsume a cozy game?
We're married now.
Does Planet Zoo count?
If it counts for you then sure!
Is there a non-farming games where you can bully the towns folk and hide away in your dungeon at the end of the day?
Lol not that I'm aware of, maybe doughnut county but it's not exactly that haha
LMFAO
Animal crossing for the GameCube, kinda. But more like the villagers bully YOU and then you go hide in your ramshackle hut, lol
He so cute, I’d wife em
Road 96
I thought I would LOVE Tiny Glade, but it’s boring 😢
My gosh you're beautiful.
Would, on the bed, in the shower, in the kitchen, wherever u want...
RuneScape
Skyrim is a cozy game
You're really cute and handsome!
these arent even games
my non-farming cozy game of choice is called Moonstone Island!
3:21 I see what u did there 🫵
10:44 wait why did u say “the point is to-“
