I just got a 06 grand prix supercharged with 220k but its in great shape. Hopefully itll be one of the ones to get to 300k at least. Most of the parts have been replaced outside of the motor. So far im in love seems faster than my infinity g37 was

Inside an out limited. An my 97 I'm the 3rd owner at 143thousand miles on it bought it non running needing new headgaskit work drove it for about 4 months an now the rocker arm is lose idk what todo n now I Wana pull the motor from the 98 buh it has 200 something miles ..buh runs good good .I kept up with all the fluids b4 it got rear ended. So that's my parts car for the 97 ..yes the newer model is the parts car for the older one lol 😂please 🙏 hit me back .
The supercharged 3800 engine isn’t plug and play with an n/a 3800 car. If the car is an n/a 3800 and you want to put the supercharged 3800 in it, it’ll be a lot more expensive than just doing the top swap.

I've got a 97 camaro with the series 2 and a 5 speed. I believe I just got my hands on a free complete l67 from my buddy's shop. It's got a rod knock in the bottom end, but the heads are good and the supercharger looks like It's been rebuilt. I know I need to make a u-bend in the blower to mount the TB and I need to extend the thermostat housing, but what other things do I need to make this thing work and work reliably?

just wondering you think i could do this with a 3.8 camaro? i know theres a lot of differences with the way it fits in the car, and im questioning if i could even fit a m90 in there. ive seen it a few times but as a stupid 16 year old im not sure if i wanna mess up my car, or if i could do everything it takes 😭 i feel like it might be a better idea to take some of the stronger parts from an l67, and then make my own turbo setup. i can weld and stuff, so i believe i could do that but then i think getting it tuned would be a big problem.

Ok np so the map sensor with the vaccum hose which should be the sensor on the right (throttle body side) just use that one plug in where the map is one the L26 harness and hook vaccum up to it done

If I do top swap on my L26, can I reuse the valve springs from my 07 NA 3800 engine with 155k miles on the SC used cylinder heads? I'm trying to make a budget friendly top swap and reuse all used parts that I can and purchase only the important components like cylinder head bolts, gaskets, etc. Any advice will be very appreciated.

I'm wanting to run it completely stock setup can I just put it in and plug it in and work with my 97 3800 stock computer and run fine without a tune? Manual car.. obviously I know the throttle body has to be relocated but other than that I'm good right??
is there any reason an electric boost gauge wouldn't work with my l36 map sensor? it works but maxes out at 1 psi. idk if that's all the boost in getting it if the gauge is faulty. i had seen this video before i top swapped my motor but my tuner told me to keep the l36 map sensor

Its a gamble honestly
The supercharged 3800 engine isn’t plug and play with an n/a 3800 car. If the car is an n/a 3800 and you want to put the supercharged 3800 in it, it’ll be a lot more expensive than just doing the top swap.

@codyyyoutube yes u can u will need a turn around welded on the supercharger so the throttle body isn't facing the firewall
Will it run without a tune? Maybe be able to move lightly ?I have both the l67 with the powder coated rods and the series 2 from 98
