- I broke my bike, will Specialized fix it?
I notice a creaking noise coming from the bottom bracket of my hardtail mountain bike, a Specialized Fuse 27.5+.
Upon inspection, I noticed there was a crack in the frame by the chainstay and bottom bracket weld.
I contacted Specialized and was directed to file a warranty claim through my local bike shop.

Did u have to save all the stock parts and put them back on? Send the bike in and wait for youres? Scott is the same way🤙

Thank you for posting. Having just ordered my first Specialized (after the suggestion of a friend who is a 40+ year bike mechanic) this is reassuring. I haven't ridden in about 15 years -so many changes! Tubeless tires, single chainring drivetrains, thru-axles, dropper posts, etc!
They are a great brand that stands behind their products.

I was heart broken to give up the green one but I do love this color.
That's really good service to replace the whole bike! Other companies would warranty the frame and leave it up to you to deal with incompatible parts between the old frame and new frame.
I was expecting something along those lines but yeah, I was blown away with their response.

Yes they will. Broke my swing arm on my Epic Evo. On June 6th took my bike to the bike store where I bought it. That was June 7th. Got my new swing arm and bike back June 19th. Yes specialized does honor their warranty. Definitely will buy a Specilizrd bike again. Great service.

I'm on a specialized now and have had a few and they have all been great, i broke my carbon Scott frame and they immediately offered me a new frame, which was awesome

Fuse Comp is an expensive hard tail. Think Stumpjumper next time. Glad it worked out for you and your back in the saddle.

I was definitely impressed with the whole experience.
What ended up happening woth the old bike? Definitely a lot of good parts left on it.
Specialized swapped the whole bike for another whole bike. I traded it in at a licensed dealership.

my Specialized also have cracked frame but we don't have Specialized in my country and i got it second hand.
MTB's and other bikes are so expensive now in my country , i don't think i can even get one now !
That is terrible! If this wouldn't have been covered under the warranty, I was going to take it to a welder to see if they were able to fix it.
@@MichianaMadman That was what i was thinking but i think my bike is 6XXX series aluminum !
and they need to be heat treated and we don't have any place that would do that for a just one bike frame in Sri Lanka !
and there are only 2 places in my district that would do Tig welding
(others have closed down the businesses or have just left for other countries )
i'm looking at other was to get it fix and if i do fix it i may make a video of it !
i was thinking of making a steel frame using the same measurement from my bike but i found out that you need a Tig welder for welding chromoly steel just like aluminum :(

Its normal with specialized, this looks like manufacturing defect
