I still wouldn't buy it but it is a really good arcane if you plan to do any heavy attacking. Certainly not hard on steel path to get the 12x mult even if it were unranked. It's not as pretty as you paint it. Yes it stays at 12x if you're running a tennokai build o you simply don't heavy attack, if you do heavy attack without a tennokai mod, the combo gets depleted, it will regenerate back to 12x but it'll take about 4 to 5 seconds if you're not running some heavy attack eff mods and that's just very, very annoying, especially if you're running a build with which you spam heavy attacks, melee crescendo wont let you do that, it'll be annoying asf. the arcane really needs to be adjusted to just... letting you keep the 12x combo no matter what you do, I don't understand what DE tried to do by releasing an arcane that on paper it's so goddamn good, but then you try it and it's just... annoying to use, if they're gonna make it so hard to get, then make it really damn overpowered, that's it, no need to add the whole waiting for the combo to regenerate back up thing, it's just dumb
I think the only way it will work is with Baruuk since the biggest problem with him is that since the aoe attack doesn't increase combo count it suck to keep x12 combo count with his 4. Other than that, i rather use Naramon and keep spaming attacks, and for the heavy attack i prefer tennokai.
Also can work on a Secondary Outburst Mesa build. Use Furax Wraith (for amalgam furax body count), get ~30 finisher kills, and now her regulators get an insane damage boost. Sparring weapons naturally open targets to finishers, too
You can do it with primary dexterity and secondary dexterity and it only costs 40pl both of them, for max ranks. All you have to do is slam enemies with your desert wind even better if you can group enemies with something like mag's pull. It's more work but you don't have to spend thousands of plat
I don't have the patience or inclination to do level cap endurance, so I'm probably never going to use an arcane that requires farming finisher kills to get going.
What bothers me is that there's quick diminishing returns. SP chart is easy without these mods. What are we getting prepped for? *Edit: I meant Arcanes
Noone tolerates arcane energize being overpriced and the people who do are copium invested players who rely on it as a plat income. Its not the best but it sure damn is convenient and easy to slot into builds. I'm fine with it being highly desired and priced respectively for that but the 2k+ pricing for it was ridiculous and not respective of the recovery gained. No arcane should be priced that high irrespective of its fucking scarcity. There are plenty of ways to kill shit in this game that this new arcane is not as gamechanging as having access to energy in your builds is.
Tbh Melee Crescendo it's just a replace for the excessively prices that Energize used to have, I bet that 80% of the people who want it and buy them is for resseling purposes and not because they need it for a build.
Every arcane has great potential as they allow you to build around what you want, the only thing Ive ever found that is annoying is if you were to buy from trade/market are these lunatics that always oved inflate price it just makes me laugh so hard.
These ppl do have the arcane maxed on the first day and here is why. There's like 20 million Chinese multiboxxing the game and funneling all the drops to 1 trade account so they can buy up all the competitors arcanes and have a monopoly. They can then sell it for 7,000 right away and they probably have already made several 7,000 plat trades. They might lower the price each weak by a small amount but those selling for less are actually selling just to them. Their website their corporation. They are using ai algorithms to constantly short all gaming markets in all games. You can never beat their price or their volume. Their risk of loss is quite low as they are data mining what the next patch will be and pre adjusting price fixing to data you don't even know yet.

if i was a betting man, thanks to WARFRAME having millions of players, these players bought Melee Crescendo arcanes one at a time from players who were fortunate to acquire one for "peanuts" knowing that the arcane is worth well more than what they bought for, and was able to increase it's rank to max scamming thousands of players. in my opinion, players should had been broadcasting the new melee arcane as the exclusive rare arcane it is and warn against getting scammed. But i saw no such videos from even the most popular youtube creators and i myself ONLY know about Melee Crescendo because i was told it's needed for me to fully enjoy Mesa along side the diviri arcane for secondary's (forgot name) and i realized recently that it would be important for Khora. And while Melee Crescendo is exclusively rare and "powerful" i currently do not see any other frame needing use of the arcane as most every other warframe (even the frames with melee exalted and using "stat stick" melee weapons) are built to retain that combo multiplier not needing the arcane. Also, isn't there a melee weapon that can be made use of that at the very least allows retaining a near max combo count?
this arcane enables some insane quality of life on some builds and actually makes them viable. unlimited heavy attacks with 60% heavy attack efficieny back to back. enables stat stick shenanigans and some insane damage setups. given its rarity i am surprised its not around 4k. People still havent cooked the builds just a matter of time till youtubers start copying builds and posting.
The issue is that the other melee arcanes also drop from netracell missions and nobody wants that if it was just melee duplicate and crescendo and the archon shards it would make sense

If you didn't know there are even better versions of the tenoki mod for the exhilus slot. Making this arcane even more niche and less valuable. But rarity and impatience are what drives whales to buy, and those are the only ones who would buy anyway. There are some carmine and prisma skins that sell for more than they are worth too.
I feel like 2k plat is reasonable for the amount of grind that you do right? Like 5 Netracells a week? The only way the people got maxed was by trading, so I can see them being that high due to costs
12x combo on the Glaive prime is actually broken, my orange crits hit between 20-50 million. And building up the cumbo with the arcane is much easier then with the regular glaive attacks
By my own test, you can't spam heavy attacks anyway because you can only regenerate about 30 initial combo or about x3. Definitely not worth thousands of plat. And that's with a laggy internet. With a fast ping you'd get roughly 25~27 and doesn't even increase from x2. You're better off with Melee Retaliation which just gives damage.

I believe I’m doing a lot of tennos a HUGE favour, lastnight I sold 5 R5 Energize for 600p each and lots of players dm me saying I’m loosing my mind but it’s so farmable and way faster than eidolon now. Sure it takes a whole lot of credits and arcanes but I have over 2k sp arcanes so it’s not an issues for me

So I usually only listen too you blindly but you do actually get rewards after you just are locked out of the weekly rewards. It's an easy 100k credits voca and resources. I have a r1 of the arcane already got 3 first 3 runs. Um so if you get your combo duration down too -1 and put your efficiency up by any amount. You'll get infinite combo counter. There's a mod on the pet that gives counter and the rauta gun making the arcane kinda useless cause I can just have infinite combo duration and I don't need rauta for it it just gets you too 12× faster then just the pet will
Buy low sell high trade 101. This is why trades should be hard locked to 1k Plat MAXIMUM. These crazy MFs want hundreds of dollars in play for arcanes and riven mods I DONT GIVE A SUGAR COATED FK OFF THE END OF MY DK nothing ESPECIALLY rivens should be sold over 1k if you think they should cry more buy Plat like the people you keep fishing for with you 2k 4k 12k Plat rivens which could be nerfed at any time.
Totally agree, Crescendo has many interesting uses. But Duplicate is only useful in ultra niche scenarios. You would need to often nerf your build to make use of it.
Honestly, I've been getting on just fine with mods like Reflex Coil and the new Focus Radon, which not only does it give my melee radiation damage, which is most effective against the Murmur, it frees up a mod slot, making room for other mods like Reflex Coil to help me reach that 90% heavy attack efficiently. Currently I'm using the Stropha in combination with the Rauta to great effect. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it.
thats the thing though, arcanes are in essence not just a power boost in some manner, they are also utility that allows for freeing up mod slots, primary merciless and deadshot are two perfect examples of base damage modifiers that make base damage mods no longer necessary
I mean its a free market. Let the people decide the prices and let the people buy what they need. If you dont like it or cant afford it just farm it yourself.
For 3k plat i can build a bunch of shit and have fun. This shit is not worth that much plat and its not like people can't do shit before having this arcane and even after.
I main Ash. I'm doing a Bladestorm Savage Silence Ash with Vulcan Blitz on a Jat Kittag and armor strip on 1. I currently have an R5 Arcane Trickery and farming Arcane Energize rn. If melee crescendo works with bladestorm I might have to make this a priority farm(after energize). Might even buy R0 if it works as well together as I think it does.
Hey bro from when I last used Ash - combo multiplier works on bladestorm. Though I’d like to just say that it may have been a bug. You could try it out and see if the 12x still works. Would save you from armor stripping and just fully focus on bladestorm/savage silence.
tenokai modes are worthless for pure heavy. U suppose to spam heavy attacks in heavy build and tenokai doesnt proc from heavies. This this arcane is good even on rank 1 or 2. it allows u to spam heavy without auto attacking.Its over price ,yes, so no need to upgrade it more. it is usefull for not long mission types
I’d only ever use this on a gunblade…nvm they already reach max combo like the easiest…yea it would have to be a really niche scenario like i’d have to need it, require it…it doesn’t allow me to do anything I can’t already do and it’s not like i’m gonna spam heavy att for an hour straight anyways…
Only cases I can think are incarnons and daggers. For me, If I need the boost, I get it easily, and if not, I just run melee guidance which works 1,000x easier.

I think I remember seeing a fix for the reward being affected by boosters or something. The loot comes from a container, so anything that affects getting a mod from a container would probably have worked if it was bugged.
I honestly dont care for that new one. I prefer the melee one that buffs melee from how much shields i have. I run volt 90% of the time so ive always got loads of shields and overshields. I dont gte the full buff but my prisma skana with the stupid good riven ive got kills so fast anyways, it doesnt matter. Just more damage. I hate the combo system but tbf with speed it doesnt take long to max so i never run melee combo mods anyways or the dexterity arcanes

I get it gets much harder, but without the arcane, it's still trivial. The only one that I had wanted for ages and managed to finish during the first sentient event (plague star?) Was energies. That made a huge difference. Its a shame it feels so mandatory
I honestly don't understand why folks are drooling over this arcane. Building combo is so easy. Just... attack speed and combo duration. I genuinely dont understand, especially when the corrosive arcane, Melee damage and status spread arcanes are FAR more useful GHS knows what he talkin about. I think the same people who would pay for this arcane are the same people who trusts that an african prince really does want to give them his inheritance 😂
They want it for stat sticks, Glaive primes, and similar weapons. It is niche, but it is definitely worth it to some people. Just not for regular players, outside of endurance runners, most people won't get much use out of this.
Luck and lots of plat. Some people have thousands if not hundreds of thousands of plat, they can just buy 21 individual arcanes for a 100 plat and resell with a certain margin of profit, rinse, and repeat. It is a fast return in plat, provided you had the initial funds to start it.
I was really lucky in that I did my weekly of the Netracell and got TWO drops of that arcane - I seriously doubt I will be that lucky again, but I agree with everyone's comment - it is such a niche it makes more sense to NOT have it in your build. Rather focus on getting Arcane Energize or Grace - or spend your plat on buying if you want (don't judge Tenno - I know you've done it too!😅)

I think you misunderstand the arcane. Finishers build up your STARTING combo count. Basically the lowest your combo can go for the rest of the mission. Heavy attacks won't bring it below that.
You don't lose combo from heavies with this.... You have the 12x mult from the point you build to it until you leave the mission. Still, I wouldn't buy it. The prices are ridiculous compared with the farm effort. You really only need an unranked one, any ranks on it are just extra.
It goes back up after you spend it. It's probably awesome on a G Prime, for example, since you would never build combo on it otherwise. You can red crit on it without riven now.

It's actually really good, but the problem is that it needs a few second to recharge once you consumed all the combo.

As a Kullervo main I should try to get melee arcanes. But I really don't care yet.
Honestly, I've been getting on just fine with mods like Reflex Coil and the new Focus Radon, which not only does it give my melee radiation damage, which is most effective against the Murmur, it frees up a mod slot, making room for other mods like Reflex Coil to help me reach that 90% heavy attack efficiently. Currently I'm using the Stropha in combination with the Rauta to great effect. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it.
thats the thing though, arcanes are in essence not just a power boost in some manner, they are also utility that allows for freeing up mod slots,
primary merciless and deadshot are two perfect examples of base damage modifiers that make base damage mods no longer necessary
I mean its a free market. Let the people decide the prices and let the people buy what they need. If you dont like it or cant afford it just farm it yourself.
For 3k plat i can build a bunch of shit and have fun. This shit is not worth that much plat and its not like people can't do shit before having this arcane and even after.
Some people have a lot of plat laying around, I actually think this is good. It gets plat back in the market, instead of just hoarding it.
I main Ash. I'm doing a Bladestorm Savage Silence Ash with Vulcan Blitz on a Jat Kittag and armor strip on 1. I currently have an R5 Arcane Trickery and farming Arcane Energize rn.
If melee crescendo works with bladestorm I might have to make this a priority farm(after energize). Might even buy R0 if it works as well together as I think it does.
Hey bro from when I last used Ash - combo multiplier works on bladestorm. Though I’d like to just say that it may have been a bug. You could try it out and see if the 12x still works. Would save you from armor stripping and just fully focus on bladestorm/savage silence.

Id persobally carry around an R0 crescendo in case i want a regular attack melee build thay effectively has infinite combo duration
tenokai modes are worthless for pure heavy. U suppose to spam heavy attacks in heavy build and tenokai doesnt proc from heavies.
This this arcane is good even on rank 1 or 2. it allows u to spam heavy without auto attacking.Its over price ,yes, so no need to upgrade it more. it is usefull for not long mission types
I’d only ever use this on a gunblade…nvm they already reach max combo like the easiest…yea it would have to be a really niche scenario like i’d have to need it, require it…it doesn’t allow me to do anything I can’t already do and it’s not like i’m gonna spam heavy att for an hour straight anyways…
Only cases I can think are incarnons and daggers. For me, If I need the boost, I get it easily, and if not, I just run melee guidance which works 1,000x easier.

I think I remember seeing a fix for the reward being affected by boosters or something. The loot comes from a container, so anything that affects getting a mod from a container would probably have worked if it was bugged.

I honestly dont care for that new one. I prefer the melee one that buffs melee from how much shields i have. I run volt 90% of the time so ive always got loads of shields and overshields. I dont gte the full buff but my prisma skana with the stupid good riven ive got kills so fast anyways, it doesnt matter. Just more damage.
I hate the combo system but tbf with speed it doesnt take long to max so i never run melee combo mods anyways or the dexterity arcanes
honestly this arcane is only really for the endurance run players, its not worth the hype, effort or plat for normal steel path players.
@shadowsketch926 also true. I just think overall it's unnecessary for endurance. Due to time, me and my friends do a max 3-4h run. I get it gets much harder, but without the arcane, it's still trivial. The only one that I had wanted for ages and managed to finish during the first sentient event (plague star?) Was energies. That made a huge difference. Its a shame it feels so mandatory

I honestly don't understand why folks are drooling over this arcane. Building combo is so easy. Just... attack speed and combo duration. I genuinely dont understand, especially when the corrosive arcane, Melee damage and status spread arcanes are FAR more useful

They want it for stat sticks, Glaive primes, and similar weapons. It is niche, but it is definitely worth it to some people. Just not for regular players, outside of endurance runners, most people won't get much use out of this.

Luck and lots of plat. Some people have thousands if not hundreds of thousands of plat, they can just buy 21 individual arcanes for a 100 plat and resell with a certain margin of profit, rinse, and repeat.
It is a fast return in plat, provided you had the initial funds to start it.
I was really lucky in that I did my weekly of the Netracell and got TWO drops of that arcane - I seriously doubt I will be that lucky again, but I agree with everyone's comment - it is such a niche it makes more sense to NOT have it in your build. Rather focus on getting Arcane Energize or Grace - or spend your plat on buying if you want (don't judge Tenno - I know you've done it too!😅)

I think you misunderstand the arcane.
Finishers build up your STARTING combo count. Basically the lowest your combo can go for the rest of the mission. Heavy attacks won't bring it below that.
You don't lose combo from heavies with this.... You have the 12x mult from the point you build to it until you leave the mission. Still, I wouldn't buy it. The prices are ridiculous compared with the farm effort. You really only need an unranked one, any ranks on it are just extra.
It goes back up after you spend it. It's probably awesome on a G Prime, for example, since you would never build combo on it otherwise. You can red crit on it without riven now.
