Nice video, i have the Platinum Jubilee MiRiDER which was made with all the upgrades including hydraulic brakes. It cost me just over £2000. Only ridden around 30 miles so far. Thinking of selling it now as i have seen another bike i want.

Thanks for the video! Am thinking of getting a Mi rider or another e bike. If you don’t How easy is it to get up to 15.5 mph? Having read the description though I’m not entirely sure, it seems as if they have designed it to be easier to achieve a higher speed using just pure human power, by designing a good gear system. There is another e bike where because it’s type approved, it has fully road legal throttle (is classed as a normal pedal bike ) where it can provide up to 15.5 mph without pedalling, which I am thinking of, however because of MSVA type approval, it can only be ridden in the UK, so there is a touch choice for me..

Hi Karl, 15.5 mph is easily obtained using any of the five power settings the pedalling is basically a safety switch which cuts the power when the crank stops rotating so it just depends how much effort you want to put in through the pedals for instance uphill with maximum assist you can still manage 15.5 mph with little effort obviously it uses more battery power and reduces range doing this but that’s par for the course on any e-bike.
The one thing with Mirider is they do have excellent customer service after you have purchased unlike some others.
