- Today I visit MiRiDER, 3 Croftwood Square, Wigan WN5 0LG.
This is where all MiRiDER Electric Bikes are assembled, right here in the UK.
I speak to a few people and the Director tells us all about my bike and how to fold it correctly.
It turns out the Director is a viewer which was amazing and we get to test ride the new MiRiDER GB3 model.

I hadn't even heard of these bikes until now. Watching this, I'm sorely tempted to buy one.
This video will probably do more for their sales than any trade show or ad campaign. It's too bad more companies don't realize what auditors can do for them - it's free publicity and promotion on a plate.

Thanks for this video dj I'm now considering getting one. I normally ride a motorbike but this would be useful for nipping about in shorter journeys without having to wear all the gear. Also with the price of fuel, this seems like a sensible idea. These seem like a decent company with friendly and professional staff and management.

Not sure id need a bike on a coin audit.. It would be great if they invited DJ Audits back for a more structured and thought out tour to show construction and more design details. Best form of advertisement. Great audit with 100% pass.
Why does it bother you if someone doesn't want to show you their business. They are well within their rights to not advertise their business who use their channel for their own auditing business.

WOW - this is simply the best audit in living history! It is not about conflict - it is about compliance and mutual understanding. This company so values your audit - but also swung their doors open to you to share their experience with access all areas. They truly realise the value of having you there. TBO this kind of marketing for them is priceless and I can only think that this interaction with them has swelled their brand value beyond their wildest dreams. So fair play to them and to you for instigating this - I bet even you did not imagine how this audit turned out!. That was simply because they were open an honest with you. Great quality product, Martin was amazing and a credit to the company. The GB3 looked amazing, I am currently looking for two folding e-bikes for my camper, would love a couple of these which will replace my full size e-bikes. Best audit to date DJ.
I had no interest in the bike but I'm SOLD! Those guys just gave MIRider the best advertisement, down to earth staff that know their product.

The MiRider development manager got called out for lying after commenting on the MiRider thread on the pedelecs web site.
@@CraigDavies. wasn't that just some ebike fanatic getting mad because they imported most parts from china and add quite a bit of markup to the sale price, while calling it british made. this was a long time ago though, and the bike's improved quite a lot since then, and imo the quality of parts and customer service make up for the price.

I love how the real workers interact with auditors. A security guard with attitude would have prevented this whole pleasing interaction. 👍
Yeah obviously if the security guard was told to not let him in. But you expect security to go against land owners policy that he is supposed to enforce by letting him in with camera and film.

What do you really like about the bike
Your previous video has a guy with one of the most squeaky voices ever, and this one features a guy with one of the lowest voices ever.

Thinking of switching over to MiRider from my current Chinese e bike due to the innovation that's in the GB3. Gonna see if i can get it on the cycle to work scheme at work.

I've seen a few of these on the canal with boaters using them for shopping runs. Spent ages chatting to an owner who couldn't praise it enough 👍
You can buy the puncher repair slime from Amazon and install it into any inner tube. And whats your bike like going up hills ? I've had 24v and 36v bikes and both were crap on hill so I make a 48v bike. The best UK street legal bike I got for my wife was a Gtech which wasn't too bad with hills and had a rubber belt instead of a chain but my 48v bike will go up anything.
Ado A20F is UK legal but has a 500W motor. A few button presses and you can use all that power for going up hills. Makes other UK legal bikes look like a joke.
@@dtz1000 If it has a 500w motor then it's not UK road legal. Has to be 250w max with pedal assist, go a max of 15.5mph on electric power and not weigh more than 30kg
@@PINACI It is UK legal when restricted and label on the bike says it's legal. But it can be unrestricted to 500w with a few button presses. I like having that option.
@@dtz1000 The electric motor has to be 250w to be street legal. For example, you can put a 1500w electric motor on a bike and then say you will only use 250w of it when you go on a road, so no, your 500w bike is not legal to use on the public roads in the UK so if anyone asks you what the wattage is then either keep quiet or tell them it's 250w
Great video.. Nice to see great customer service. Nice to see a British company making an innovative product... Parts sourcing from all over.. But problems with the product can be sorted in the UK by the manufacturer. Judging by the video they are very proud of there bikes and would do everything to help resolve any problems

Just bought an electric Mountain bike but came across this video and loved it. First class from the guys at the Mi factory, very warm and welcoming, speaks a lot about the company. Brilliant video to watch.

@@CraigDavies. And if something goes wrong then just try getting service. Ebay is good for cheapo stuff but most companies are a nightmare for aftersales and repairs.

T hats true brought a e scooter of eBay took it to a shop cause something was stopping it from folding. The guy said it's a Chinese build and looked round it said the quality on some parts more or less preaty shit. So might get rid and consider in buying one of these.

What an amazing reception from everyone in there... I don't normally watch reviews on these smaller foldable bikes (I've watched a few of the audit ones though) and because of the way they were with you, it just gripped me in till the end of the video. Really nice!
