Great review. For the price of this bike, I expected better quality. Can't believe your tyres don't last 1k miles Don't put WD-40, it's not a lubricant, it's designed to get rid of water use copper grease on the Brakes and LUBRICATING oil it's designed for this. ( Use the same stuff you put on the back of car brakes before putting them into the caliper)
@@benpar8120 great tip Ben thankyou 👍🏻 yeah, unfortunate the supplied tyres didn't last neither did the gravelers, but the green marathons are doing a stellar job. Thanks for the comment.
I love mine and so does the wife. We've had no issues of note other than the mudguard screws working loose every now and then but that aside they are so much fun and the build quality is spot on, very comfy too and the range is good too as we only use the electric assistance on hills and riding into headwinds. Highly recommended. Thanks for your informative video.
A very good and comprehensive review. Im at a frossroads what to buy now. I am keen on the Cyrusher Ovia. Although its much bigger and heavier, it is considerably cheaper. It does get excellent reviews as does the MiiRider. I also will be factoring in Warranty and Parts and really encouraged by your experience with the MiiRider company Warranty and parts
Thank you for your review. Whilst you praised the bike towards the end of the video but everything you said prior put me off. I just want an e-bike I can just get on and ride without having to adapt
@@carolinepaige217 it's perfectly acceptable to ride out of the box, the upgrades were a personal choice. A majority of owners make no changes whatsoever.
@@PropCollector71 Hi, thank you for your reply. It's not just your review, but others too. it seems that there are a number of 'niggles' out of the box which in my mind is down to quality control, or lack of it! Whilst to someone like yourself, who obviously knows what he is doing, for myself a 67 year old woman, I just want a bike that I get out of the box and it just..... works! But thanks again. Kindest regards, Caroline
I'm getting the mirider 24 later in the year. I got the original mirider from 4 years ago for £850.. they are much more expensive now but they improved a lot of specs. Also bought different extendable mud guards as thought these cheap ones were really naff and pretty ugly on something thats got a beautiful design.
WD40 is not really considered a full blown lubricant, it’s a Water Displacement fluid (formula 40). Better to use a silicone based lubricant or other bike lube designed for the purpose.
Great review.

@@ecky_thump fair comment, however, it did stop the crank squeak.
