    2 cups of washed rice
    Brown rice in oil
    In blender:
    4 small tomatoes halved
    1/4 of an onion
    1 Garlic clove
    2 cups of chicken stock
    2 cups of water
    1 tsp of bouillon
    Add salt to taste
    Blend
Add garlic powder to browned rice
Add some onion to pan and continue browning
Once rice is browned add tomato mixture
Wait until it begins boiling then cover and put on medium heat for 23 mins

Thanks. I prefer to roast the tomatoes, onion and garlic before blending. I also only cook rice for 15 minutes and it never comes out like hers which the rice is too soft and mushy, rather than tender, individual rice

Two types of people in this world:
People who believe you can never have enough garlic...
    And people who are wrong...

You added to much water also before you pour the tomatoes use the strainer so it’ll only get the tomato juice and the rest you throw away and your rice will come out good

I love this recipe, I've heard that roasting the onions and tomatoes will give it a smoky flavor.

I like to add extra oil as well because I like the texture better when it's done, if anybody doesn't like the extra oil just drain it a little before you add the rest of your ingredients...😁 ps. If you stir it too much after you put the liquid it will come out mushy.

  • @MR-df6fe
    @MR-df6fe 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

You don’t stir it so it doesn’t become mush, at least that’s what my mom says.

I can’t appreciate enough that you wash the rice. That’s basic common sense and I can’t believe people skip that. I also love the fact you use real tomatoes and not some chemical paste. But the minute you opened knorr, authenticity Went out of the window.

Funny because I learned that tip from a woman in our family born and raised in Mexico, and that cooks her food as authentically as it comes, lol so try again. 👋🏼
Also, I didn’t know “washing” the impurities from the rice would deem it authentic or not.. 🤣
