The Roller Derby Cruze skates or Roller Derby Candi Girl (indoor) skates..any skate from either of the those lines that have a metal plate and the smaller, harder, indoor wheels if you're on a budget. If price isn't TOO much of an issue, I'd honestly go for the Moxi Beach Bunny (a wheel change will be necessary) or anything in Sure-Grip's artistic skate line. If you want a skate that's REALLY going to last, and price isn't an issue at all, get a Moxi Lolly...though they come with nylon plates, those plates are pretty much indestructible.
Rookie and Tempish have good and affordable beginner artistic skates. I wouldn’t go for the Beach Bunny for dance skating, simply because of how far apart the wheels are on the plate. They’re great for cruising and park skating, not so much for dance. The Sure Grip Fame is also good for dance skating. If you want to splash out, go for a Moxi Lolly, or if you want to splash out even more, look into Riedell.
Oh, also, if you want to skate backwards, a heel is recommended. It makes balancing easier, and therefore you can get more speed when you go backwards.
@@l.a.k Hey, I am yet to start roller skating but I feel like I would feel more comfortable with roller skates that aren't so far away from the ground and with a very slight or no heel. I bought the Roces Ollie Quad skates to skate outdoors, but I feel they're not rolling so well. The wheels are quite hard, is it possible that I need softer wheels to skate in the streets. And if so, can I change the wheels of my Roces Ollie skates?
Hi -the skates comes with 85A wheels, which are some quiet hard wheels for outdoor skating. You could benefit by changing the wheels for softer ones. :)

hey. thank u for the vid :) i just want to ask you what is the best quad roller if i want to move with it on street.. and what is the best wheel type for it ?
Hi Ali. It all depends on what kind of skating you are thinking about? Is it for ramps and skate parks, doing tricks on rails or is it more like a outdoor fitness kind of skating in the streets?
You should go for a wheel with a big diameter as possible and a softer hardness. Could be like these: www.skatepro.com/54-17490.htm or these www.skatepro.com/54-613.htm
I want to buy the one in the middle but I’m scared if the wheel is made of plastic cause I’ve heard that if you buy them in plastic they are going to be really bad✅🗣
You forgot the most obvious when choosing a skate or boot & that is that there are 2 types of boot; 1) is the dance skate boot. 2). the other is a speed skate boot. Wheels & size are also important as well!! The wheels with a smaller width are 4 your dance skating & the wheels with the wider width are 4 speed skating.
Hi. Yes, of course, you can return your item within 365 days but you have to pay yourself for the return shipping costs. , SkatePro will ship the alternative size to you free of charge :) For more information click on the link here: www.skatepro.com/en-us/d16.htm
It depends on the surface your dancing on. If you want to be able to have a bit of sliding to your dance routine you might want a harder wheel. Usually people prefer small wheels with a low wheel diameter for dancing. The smaller wheels doesn't roll as fast, and that makes the control of the skate a bit easier and more fun when you want to spin and do fancy moves. :)
It all depends on your personal preference. Most derby players use a softer boot made of leather but some also prefer a harder carbon boot, which is heat moldable and more responsive. Hope this answers your question?
The toe stop is NOT for starting off. And it is not for stopping while going forward. Toe stops are for stopping ONLY when you are going backwards. Your video is misleading.
why can't I find any women size 9's (US size) roller skates?? I don't even care about the price at this point. Everything I like is not in my size or is sold out wtf!! HELP! Please drop a link so I can get some roller-skates (not blades)
Exactly! Your toes SHOULD touch....however, they should not feel "cramped". If the knuckles on your toes feel "scrunched" (you literally have to bend your toes to make the skates fit), then, yes, they are too small. Otherwise, they're fine!

The other day as it is almost Christmas, I saw that I had a big box wrapped under the tree for me and I asked my grandad what it was behind my nans back and he told me they were rollerskates and my heart jump from my feet to my head and I was so happy because I have wanted then for a very long time and I even started to ask the color and stuff and I told everyone I even told my auntie that I was getting some and she said that she will get some and go skating with me one of the days and got very excited, but yesterday as soon as I came home I had my dinner and while we were eating I kept asking what they looked like and my nan said that I haven’t really got any, my face sunk as they all laughed at me and they said that my nan would never get me any and once she said that I slammed my plate on the kitchen side and ran up to my room crying and now I don’t have a clue what to say to my auntie...
Sorry thus happened. Sace every penny u get and buy them urself. Also look at garage sells and thrift stores
I’ve ordered some today in my regular size, size 4... I love them and I’m really worried in case there too small 😭
Can you give an update if they are small? Or do they fit just right!?
I’m planning on buying a pair
Bruh
Tammy hi sorry I only just got back but they fit just perfectly!
@@x.sistersquad.x1710 thanks I got a pair and they’re good and I’m learning how to roller skate and know the basics now! I’m now learning how to do spins and go backwards
Skatepro good question do still sealing hard boots quad skates?
Hi! I've a question.. I have non adjustable breaks but I want to change them to adjustable ones... how can I do that? I don't want to buy new roller skates, but most of the people say I have to.. can I circumvent that?? Can you please give me some tips? I don't know what to do...
Hi Soy!
Would love to take a look at this matter for you! Would you be able to contact us on our email? Look forward to check this out for you!
SkatePro sure I will! Thank you so much:)
You basically need new plates, which can cost about as much as a new pair of skates :(
I ordered the roces white classic skates the wheels have 82A so are they hard wheels?? And if they are can I use them outside and learn some stunts etc.?
82A is a softer wheel and great for outdoor skating, so you should be good to go outside and skate. :)
Thanks a lot I'm very excited
Do you know if the Brand BFTL is good ?
Sorry - don't know that brand. So can't tell if it's good or not ;-)
I want the white and black skates
Super informative! Thank you
I really want to try roller skating but my family is cursed with getting horribly injured on things with wheels. 😔
I am sorry to hear that. But it is never too late to start skating...maybe in your case with baby steps...and the right protection. We have everything you need and are looking forward to guiding you into the right direction. If you want to try it out, please contact our Customer Connection Team -> email@skatepro.com

bruh ik this is so old but if i get a hard boot, can i still take it to discos n stuff?? or should i just get a soft boot
hey. thank u for the vid :) i just want to ask you what is the best quad roller if i want to move with it on street.. and what is the best wheel type for it ?
Hi Ali. It all depends on what kind of skating you are thinking about? Is it for ramps and skate parks, doing tricks on rails or is it more like a outdoor fitness kind of skating in the streets?
SkatePro for outdoor fitness
You should go for a wheel with a big diameter as possible and a softer hardness.
Could be like these: www.skatepro.com/54-17490.htm or these www.skatepro.com/54-613.htm
How much in you roller blade
Do you ship to florida ..?
Hi Edward, I hope it is still relevant. But yes, we do ship to Florida. ;) Just go to: www.skatepro.com
Well, Only if we get a pair of roller skates with well oiled wheel bearings.
I want to buy the one in the middle but I’m scared if the wheel is made of plastic cause I’ve heard that if you buy them in plastic they are going to be really bad✅🗣
Same
You forgot the most obvious when choosing a skate or boot & that is that there are 2 types of boot; 1) is the dance skate boot.
2). the other is a speed skate boot.
Wheels & size are also important as well!! The wheels with a smaller width are 4 your dance skating & the wheels with the wider width are 4 speed skating.
How do I find a quad skate with the specific elements I want?
how many much roller skate
I’m planning to order one, but I’m afraid that it’ll be too small, and if it was, can I return it??
Hi.
Yes, of course, you can return your item within 365 days but you have to pay yourself for the return shipping costs. , SkatePro will ship the alternative size to you free of charge :)

The soft or the hard wheels are better for danceing??
It depends on the surface your dancing on. If you want to be able to have a bit of sliding to your dance routine you might want a harder wheel.
Usually people prefer small wheels with a low wheel diameter for dancing. The smaller wheels doesn't roll as fast, and that makes the control of the skate a bit easier and more fun when you want to spin and do fancy moves. :)
I bought some riedell 105w/#2 on the tongue how can I tell if they are men or women?
It depends from brand to brand, But you are very welcome to contact our customer Service and you'll get the info you need.

How much. It is alive it
Is a hard boot or soft boot better for roller derby?
It all depends on your personal preference.
Most derby players use a softer boot made of leather but some also prefer a harder carbon boot, which is heat moldable and more responsive.
Hope this answers your question?

The toe stop is NOT for starting off. And it is not for stopping while going forward.
Toe stops are for stopping ONLY when you are going backwards.
Your video is misleading.

1:57 "if your toes touch the nose of the skate, you know they are too small".. BRAINWASH! xD
i mean.. not to be rude but c'ommon.
Exactly! Your toes SHOULD touch....however, they should not feel "cramped". If the knuckles on your toes feel "scrunched" (you literally have to bend your toes to make the skates fit), then, yes, they are too small. Otherwise, they're fine!

I see my skates
That's great! Let's hope your skates will serve you well :)
