Daar in die 70's het my ma nog tjips ook gemaak. Een maal 'n jaar as daar genoeg geld was, het ons gesin van 4 mixed grills geëet! Elkeen uit so deurskynende vleisbord! ❤❤❤

Hi Walter! One day this will be but a memory, we must just keep our minds straight on our goals and ideals. One day we will all be socializing and braai-ing around a lekker fire! We are so glad you enjoy our videos!
Buddy why arent u franchised as yet? Your culinary skills should be tasted and appreciated. Get yourself a fully fledged establishment, your skills are out of this world.
At 6:10, what waas the liquid you added to the egg carton to start the fire? And is it something that adds to the taste of the food or is it just your way of lighting the bbq?
I love the way Zimbabweans and South Africans braai meat. The americans blacken their and then tear it apart and call it pulled. Meat should be eaten with bones!!!!!
I am doing a presentation on African cuisine for my college class. Can anyone provide the phonetic spelling so I can sound it out? It is pronounced "bray"?
Love the meal no doubt it looks scrumptious but will follow your way of gastronomy here on BGE big green egg to take up the highest possible notch that cannot be matched by my ultimate grilling machine across fifty one countries world wide. It's only sold by people who have personal experience with the Big Green Egg. Just don't try fake charcoal at ALL or loose your lifetime insurance. You can use indoors and outdoors, sun, lighting, thunder, rain, snow, day or night.
The eggs confuse me so much....who makes egg with braaivleis? This is a Jo'burg thing isnt it? In CT, eggs is what you make when you dont have money for a braai lol, those eggs go straight to the doggos, aint nobody gonna eat eggs when there is braaivleis🤣
@@WolkbergArtisans2019 oh I get that the combo is yummy, but I only do it with stir fry steak or something similar to korean bbq. Thin-ish slices of steak covered in golden yummyness...to die for!

Thanks Dutchy! Definitely last meal worthy. Keep well!
Just for useless information purposes, the Afrikaans word for Mixed grill is Allegaartjie. Always loved that word. Now you can go back to your day...

Hi, it is used cooking oil. Adds no flavor at all, just a great way of recycling used oil and a great fire lighter.

Love your work! Is that a genuine weber?
Hi Wayne. It’s a self build spitbraai that I converted into a braai. The Weber vents were from old Weber braai’s. Thank you for watching!

Hi Jasmine. I’m no linguistic expert, but if you sound out “Brr” like you are cold 🥶 and the word “eye”. If you put them together “Brreye” 😀😉
@@WolkbergArtisans2019 Haha thank you so much! Your expert linguistic knowledge really helped me out! GOT IT! ✅
What do you pour into your egg carton?
Hi. We use used cooking oil. Makes a great firelighter. Thanks for watching!
Wolkberg Artisans thank you :)
Use used cooking oil from previous usage, it makes an even better fire starter
