As Halo operations go this one was definitely up there with the best. It's rare to be able to do fully urban battles in Arma but the gods were kind to us this time around and didn't crash us for the crime of wanting to do an operation around a bunch of skyscrapers. that action shot at 8:45 was amazing, the shot clipping the wing of the aircraft causing it to barrel into the street where there's a firefight taking place looked like something straight out of a cutscene

Honestly that should be the default sound the Warthogs make whenever a couple of Ingis guys drive a Warthog. These guys aren't too far off from RvB characters.

somehow Ignis both perfectly recreates how i imagine halo battles to actually play out with horrid accuracy and yet have bits like Twister in it. its truly a wonderful thing
I saw this from Bepis's perspective as a cop on the ground. Bman was *not* lying, it was actual hell down there. The Marines took their sweet time getting there. Kept shooting the troopers vehicles too but that was probably the tremendous lag.
I am honestly amazed how cinematic these operations are. Beyond the chaos and laughs, I was truly invested into the story of it and the success of the squad.
I love it when Halo battles are brought into games like Arma cuz you can see how brutal and intense the fight *really* was. And that was only *one* ship that landed. According to Admiral Hood and Cortana in Halo 2, there were upwards of seven hundred and fifty of these invading and glassing Reach.
God I love this so much, actual peak cinema, this is some of the best stuff you made, they need to add more to this mod NOW, I want like, Covenant boats, imagine a UNSC navel op on an ocean world, with like, a covenant battle ship…or convoy ambushes with Shadow Transports and Specters, and we already have the “AT-Wraith” I call it, literally a wraith with a tank cannon instead of a close range artillery piece, actually sick stuff, can’t wait to see more.
Im always happy when I see a new Arma 3 HALO episode on this channel. Keeps my love going for the HALO world more than the recent games have ever since ODST.
Every time a new video comes out part of me thinks it can’t possibly be as epic as the last video, yet every time I am pleasantly surprised. This is no exception. THIS is the best Halo tv show we could’ve asked for.
Later down the road we're gonna hear "This is Twister 47, making my approach now over." And we're all gonna think "wow, another in a line of great heroes!"
I honestly love the halo arma videos, they are mainly what I wish some of the halo games would actually do but only is a wish. Regardless, thanks for the great videos its always a joy to watch.

Seeing dozens of marines get flung in the air by hunter fuel rods are awesome and so true to Halo ground fights. I loved how you could barely see any Covenant for most of this video, there were the hunters and maybe 2 or 3 times you got close enough to a grunt or elite to be able to tell what they even were, the rest was shooting at stuff all the way down roads and alley ways. Surprisingly realistic. Twisters were of course great and made for several very cinematic moments.
Jay, those little SFM animations GreatDictator made and you used for Twister were gold, really adding to the video. Please let him know to keep up the good work while pacing himself. And thank you for the video.
I'll be honest, Ignis actually does pretty well for a light infantry unit with minimal fire support going up against the worst the multiverse can throw at them.

the fact that he was highly placed in two of the highest attrition/casualty filled OPs in Ignis' HALO career seems suspicious to me........
Word has it that about 5 years after his work in New Mombasa he went and became an official in New Phoenix.
I grew up in Mombasa and my brother was born there, so every time it’s appeared in Halo has been very special to me
