This was pretty cooked for an op but it was also one of the most fun. Once again Arma proves to be one of my favorite unofficial halo games. I also want everyone to suspend their disbelief that there was a halcyon class cruiser just floating above Alpha Halo for the sake of the MAC scene lmao.
Me, whenever Mega Construx releases a new Halo, set that's worth buying. Note I have: 4 vehicles 19 covies 31 spartans 4 odsts 12 marines 66 figures and 4 vehicles
In Halo 2, the Enforcer Sentinel doesn't just pick up a vehicle and flies off with it, it smashes it with its rear "legs". I've only had this happen to me twice, and both times in Scorpion tanks. It's probably a bug that the Enforcer Sentinels in this mod don't smash things they pick up, but it's sure a funny one.
It's nice to see that, across all media there is one constant: "When biological horror, apply fire until it stops moving. Continue applying fire until nothing but inert ash remains." Also, first the mega bomb, now the mega sentinel. I feel like we should add "anything with 'Mega' in its name" to the List of Things Ignis Isn't Allowed to Touch XD Also also, as a gunner on a Halcyon-inspired ship in Space Engineers who is the primary orbital bombardment specialist, that MAC scene made me very happy :)

Most underrated part of this video is the ending with the patreon credits. Something about a lone unsc marine on a foreign distant planet fighting till the end with no evac in sight is just.. bliss A chefs kiss to you.
Ummmm. That was not a marine, that's a pilot. That helmet is usually worn by UNSC pilots, you see them in Halo Reach when you go to take over the Corvette. Dude was probably the Pelican pilot.
@@RustyIv both of you are right the helmet is a variant of the military police helmet worn by the army in halo reach (marines in ce anniversary) but it was also used for the pilots of the sabers in the mission long night of solace (possibly the other reach pilots as well)
The flamethrowers feel like they fit perfectly in Halo's themes of the Covenant fighting with fancy energy weapons and humans fighting with the dirtiest tactics in history.
I really love the early halo games due to the sheer desperation that you can almost taste. Humanity is on the verge of total extinction by the time of halo 1, something most sci fi franchises don't really have

Still really bad where I think a couple hundred billion died in the first 20-30 years but they had another couple hundred billion left. It was thanks to the sacrifice of many many Spartan 3s and 4s in sabotage actions that delayed their push but once they found Reach thats where the numbers of fallen started to go up very fast.

Chronologically this is the last Ignis Op due to them all dying on the ring. However, they have served on many fronts across existence and beyond and we have barely seen any of them.

If we treating Ignis Corp as a universe-hopping mercenary group and therefore treating every battle they’ve participated in canon to each of those universes, then we should consider the in game ability to respawn to be a canon ability for them because there isn’t a single member of Ignis corp that hasn’t died at least twice already. Heck, they’ve suffered a 300% casualty rate at the battle for Provins. The worse that will probably happen to them in lore for suffering 100% casualties and failing a mission is not getting paid once they respawn.
When I saw this, i was reminded of the Mission where they had to get the A.I. of the Planet, and as the covenant just started to Glass the surface, the last pelican took Off, saving the Last marines covering exfil
some of these scenes were WAY cinematic, almost like a real Halo 1 mission. Goddamn the Arma 3 modding community is insane. The banshee getting shot down, the flood pelican crashing, the mega sentinel AWESOME

There's the war against the dragons fought by resurrecting humans, fire witches, a skeleton king and his miasma, and a sun god wielding lightning and granting it to his followers, all in a land of grey crags, giant trees, and eternal fog covering the sky, with some humans under general Havel armored in solid stone armor and giant stone shields wielding massive clubs. Then there's havel's rebellion, where he and his soldiers rebel against the gods with dark occult magic, Then there's the war against Izaleth, a city surrounded by magma and overrun with foul demons that wield massive, crude weapons and cast promancy, which was attacked by black knights wielding large black iron weapons, And that's all from Dark Souls One. PLEASE contact someone familiar with the lore and make an arma 3 operation around one of the battles, with everyone having the ability to Dodge Roll. It would be so cursed and so awesome.
