Andy timmons plays and I just can't help but feel something from his playing that is so connecting. Being at one of his shows up close is the best concert I've ever been to. The guy is one of a kind
@@Venomboy666 this was a lot of fun to watch. Paul is such a pro and so comfortable. I loved his tone and choice of notes as well. Andy Timmons was just inspired. Andy Wood unfortunately seemed a bit uncomfortable with this tune for wfat ever reason. He's a fantastic player but this was uncharacteristically strange from what I've seen from him. Letterie also played some cool stuff. I'm not familiar with him but he sounded great. Thanks for posting this
I was there for this show. I have seen Andy Timmons more times than I can count and that night he was more "on" than I have ever seen him in the 22 years I've known him.
Paul Gilbert is like Roy Clark to me in that I love listening to him but love watching him play almost as much. The sheer joy he gets from playing absolutely radiates from him! And not just that. When he jams with other awesome talent he seems to enjoy that just as much!
That is what you call a loaded field. Still can't get over Ben switching to bass for a couple projects and 5 minutes later having all these videos of him with the best of the best inviting him to be the guy. Just crazy....
Jamás entenderé cómo es posible que Andy Timmons no haya tenido el reconocimiento mundial que han tenido otros como Steve Vai, Joe Satriani o Paul Gilbert entre otros
Andy Timmons' tone was great. Not just the Lonestar punching through, but "in his fingers". Cliche' but so true. His patient phrasing; giving himself the room to play what he truly feels at any given time.
I love how my biological stepdad uncle Ben is just smiling through the whole thing. Being on stage with Andy Timmons and Paul Gilbert, I can't say I blame the guy. All played amazingly well, true pros
First off, I never ever in a million years thought I would say, PG actually got upstaged by the other three players. This is from someone that frickin loves PG and has followed him since Racer X. He did follow the chord changes but his playing was almost entirely pentatonic with only a few Dorian notes thrown in. The progression demanded more. Mark and the Andy’s, OTOH, went outside the box and definitely did not stay within the pentatonic. I am a huge Andy Wood fan but I must concur with what others said - Timmons totally stole the show. He had the perfect balance of feel, expression, dynamics, technique, played the chord changes but went outside of them enough to be really interesting. And yeah, his tone was awesome to boot. Even Wood was clapping after AT’s final solo, acknowledging what he pulled off. Having said all that, I wish Mark’s volume had been higher. I feel like I missed some really cool notes/licks because he was just too low in the mix. Also...even though I totally understand what PG was doing, I felt bad for Mark when PG cut him off during his initial solo. Still, great video and playing by all.
Actually I am shocked coz this the most restrained he has played ever and I loved it. The man kept it simple coz he wanted to not because of his lack of ability.
I think Mark seemed low in the mix because he was on the other side of the stage. The Andys amps were right in front of the camera person. I know what you mean though. He was hard to hear.
Everyone was great, we're talking about world class players here, but how on earth does Mark Lettieri fits all those outside notes so nicely into this context?!
He did, and rightfully so. I wasn't sure how many rounds to take (and was generally terrified, as you can imagine). Paul is an excellent dude, as are all these fellas.
As much a i love Paul’s guitar playing, he doesn’t come off as a natural blues player. I have always viewed him as an aggressive shredder. I’m guessing that now he is older, he’s trying to temper his speed.
I can't afford Andy's Timmons amp. My setup can mimic quite similar tone of Paul or Andy Wood cos their tone sounds quite generic ie: amp+overdrive+delay should get it quite close. But AT's tone is so unique that i have never achieve before. Not sure how much is from his amp and how much is from his pedal board. Damn!
Do not forget the incredible Mark Lettieri!
You're right! I want to see Mark more. ;-)
Yup digging his playing... Was funny PG having to tap his shoulder though
Right! The best..Mark Lettieri!
I couldn't hear a lot of definition on his tone. But I love what he was playing. Mark is amazing.
Mark is the best one by far
Paul, Mark and Andy Wood are amazing, but Andy Timmons has reached another level of melodic sense...
Andres Yepez he definitely stole the show
His tone wasn't bad either...
andy's tone is a century ahead
totally agree
I'm not sure men, In my opinon Mark and Andy Wood were more incredibles!
Andy's sense of melody just puts him on another level.
Agree
Amazing Andy Timmons ...!!! Great Tone , great playing ...!!
So much talent on stage, including Ben Eller on bass and the incredible “outside the notes” of Mark Lettieri!
It's great that Paul always honors the great Robin Trower, the most soulful player ever.
Paul Gilbert and Andy Timmons, some of the nicest and most humble guitar gods.
Didn't see Lettieri mentioned on the title but, glad to see him there.
Andy timmons plays and I just can't help but feel something from his playing that is so connecting. Being at one of his shows up close is the best concert I've ever been to. The guy is one of a kind
don't forget Ben Eller on Bass
Iminent yup. He’s awesome.
I was going to make a joke about that because I didn't know it was him!!!!!!!!
and Mark Lettieri on guitar
The most famous eyebrow among youtube guitar players
Iminent hey kids, it’s your good buddy, Uncle Ben!
Damn....Andy Timmons is from another planet
Timmons has the best solo on this. He's musicality amazing. Amazing solos. Gilbert's fan.
Andy Timmons always touches me no matter what he plays!! This was cool! Ben Eller on Bass Baby!! lol
playing some BIG GUITAR!
I was touched by the melodies of Andy Timmons, he really is the master of the melodic sense.
Lots of fun to watch all of these tremendous players. I especially enjoyed AT’s fantastic choice of notes and dynamics. Very nice
Bad Minton he definitely stole the show

Timmons and Wood were magnificent on this one, incredible.

Andy is always the best: the best tone, the best musicianship, the best feeling, simply he is at another level.
Don' t underestimate Mark Lettieri! !!!!! This guy is Monster too!!!!
Andy Timons just tell us a story

Four quite different and great styles! Btw we really, really need a tour of Paul & Andy!
Thanks for recording this! Huge Gilbert fan.
Andy Timmons is the most tasteful player Ive ever heard
Paul, Mark and Andy Wood: I'm gonna make the better solo.
Andy Timmons: Hold my beer...
Os solos de And Timmos é brilbhante!
Jamás entenderé cómo es posible que Andy Timmons no haya tenido el reconocimiento mundial que han tenido otros como Steve Vai, Joe Satriani o Paul Gilbert entre otros
Andy Timmons with Simon Philips....INCREDIBLE
I can recognize Paul by one lick.
I can recognize Andy by just one note.
Spectacular playing from ALL! Great stuff indeed...
Wow Andy's sense of melody and the build up were other worldly.... absolutely goosbumps
Just amazing, amazing musicians, but Timmons is from another planet 😆.
Uncle Ben!!!!! What a freaking lineup!
Andy Timmons is from another planet!
Andy always causes me goosebumps
great video, possibly the tastiest trower jam ive seen hahaha thanks for sharing
Andy have the power of music in your fingers
Andy Woods skills are off the chart but so is Any Timmons feel....mind blowing
Epic jams. Killer solos. Andy Wood's solos are amazing, all of them were amazing, but Andy's really crisp.
Always fun to see other musicians interpret Trower
Nothing to do but sit back and appreciate...
Thank you thank you for sharing this. Been waiting so long to see it. Really really appreciate it
Michael Wilson the show was incredible
Mark littieri maybe less popular but his notes was incredible .
Andy is Dynamite..dont push the button, please !
Great playing, tone and dynamics from everyone. Apparently the sound guy thought it was Andy Timmons and guests.
Andy timmons full soul🎸
notes that only come with age. wonderful.
Wow Andy Timmons amazing 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Rapaz que show de timbres e escalas bem elaborada

mark would still be going if PG hadn't given him a nudge😂
Paul Gilbert has the perfect voice for the "bridge of sighs"! 😨🤘
Very cool solo's!🎨
That is a lot of monsters on one stage! 😱
Bridge of Sighs!!! 👍🏻👍🏻🔥 🎸🔥
Andy was King that night hands down!
My idol andy timmons and pual gilbert
oh Andy ! what a musical genius
Mark litteri has some serious chops!
Amazing.......
Timmons! Omg just raised the bar!,, l
Four amazing players, each with its own style. I liked andy Timmons best because he's more emotional in a Neal Schon kind a vibe.
Timmons always delivers 👍
those two Andy with those fusion phrasing.. :-)
That's my step dad on bass and he is a great guitar player also.
Leave my mother out of this.
andy t,andy w,,,best melodic soul
9:25 Timmons takes Wood's last phrase and finishes it for him,so cool.
Andy Timmons sound is great.. Paul is a master...
5:35 Timmons is my favorite hacky sack guitar player
Everyone was great, we're talking about world class players here, but how on earth does Mark Lettieri fits all those outside notes so nicely into this context?!
Look up “Lingus” by Snarky Puppy. Mark plays for them, you have to be special to be in that band lol
Andy is melodic king! Wow!
Andy timmons is the BEST
Andy,Andy,Andy!!!!!!
Only Andy and Paul know when to end their solo's lol
Andy Timmons @ 4:57 “hey Andy, this is how it’s done” 😆
Andy tone is amazing❤
Andy T coming in with the feels
The groove they're jammin on reminds me of Peruvian Skies by Dream Theater
Bridge of sighs, Robin Trower
Andy Timmons awesome!
Robin Trower ❤️
Andy Timmons just WOW!! Fuck!!!
I think the other guitarist is called Mark Lettieri
It’s uncle Ben on the base!
The moon don't move the 'tides' to wash me clean....
andy timmons is a fucken legend!
I gave a thumbs up for both Andy's and Mark Lettieri! WTH is Paul doing here, he doesn't belong here. Paul is another genre!
Did paul just tell mark to stop playing to give another player get their turn? Hmmm
He did, and rightfully so. I wasn't sure how many rounds to take (and was generally terrified, as you can imagine). Paul is an excellent dude, as are all these fellas.
kinda rude or awkward? whatx d perfect word? 😁
Visceral🌷
MARK LETTIERI of SNARKY PUPPY
Love them all but as Floyd the barber once said, 'Ohhh... Andy"!
3:52 i love how the comentator is allowed to be in the guitar concert 😂
As much a i love Paul’s guitar playing, he doesn’t come off as a natural blues player. I have always viewed him as an aggressive shredder. I’m guessing that now he is older, he’s trying to temper his speed.
Look up Paul Gilbert talks about metal and blues.
Paul Gilbert can play blues, but normally he sounds like a metal-blues.
... then came Mr Timmons and story ends harmonically...
Representing Snarky Puppy in da house...Mark!
Somebody gonna play a blues lick tonight or what.
Glenn S. Harris hopefully not, tired of those overplayed blues licks, everyone trying to be SVR
Andy Timmons All the Way.
Uncle Ben Eller on bass!
I can't afford Andy's Timmons amp. My setup can mimic quite similar tone of Paul or Andy Wood cos their tone sounds quite generic ie: amp+overdrive+delay should get it quite close. And what about Mark Lettieri solo?
What a wonderful Andy Timmons solo end note ....he milk a cow from the right place
