- For all of you keen watchers, you will notice that I say it is March 28. As I filmed this in advance, I looked at the schedule wrong. My scheduled release date is March 27, 2024.
I want to thank Ruan @theyorkshiresewgirl and Sam @Frugalisama for hosting the Sew Frugal challenge once again. This is my second year participating in the vlogger tour for the Sew Frugal challenge. In this video, I decided to focus on eight free patterns that I would like to make for spring or even summer. The blouse I am wearing, Peppermint Magazine Paddington Top, is a bonus pattern featured in my video. The other patterns I talk about include the By Hand London Polly Top, Maison Fauve Citron Top, Ellie and Mac Curved Hem Pocket Tee, Friday Pattern Co Bateau Top, the Sew Magazine Striped Breton Top, Bonnie and Blithe Tripoli Trousers, and the final patterns Mood Sewciety Erinus Shorts and Emilia Bra.
Here's links to the patterns:

I want to thank all of you who have taken the time to watch my channel. I appreciate all of you who have subscribed to my channel and continue to follow me on my vlogging journey. I hope I can be an inspiration to you. We have a great sewing community.
I am inching closer to 1,000 subscribers. I am planning a giveaway when I reach that milestone. About half of the people who regularly watch my channel do not subscribe. I would love it if you did and followed me on my sewing journey. And, a huge thank you for all those have shown me support from the beginning.
Thanks so much for watching,
Cynthia

Can't believe you've found different patterns! Well done you
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. 😊
Beautiful sewing patterns and thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for watching. 😊
By this time it’s hard to come up with new patterns, but you’ve done really well. Quite a few really good ones there that I haven’t seen before. I’m now wishing you’d included your dress finds. Maybe your next vlog?😊
Maybe some time in the future. I'm glad you saw something new. ☺️
Hi Cynthia, thank you for all the research you did, you picked some great patterns. I particularly liked the Paddington top you were wearing (lovely fabric choice) & the variety of tank tops was great. Thank you.😊
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching ☺️
I already printed the Friday pattern CO Bateau Top! Seems like a good one!
Now I just need the sewing GODS to give me more sewing time :D
LOL. I need more time to sew too.😀
My sister blessed me with Capri active wear 2 sets in navy and black. Thank you for sharing your patterns. I have a in set sleeve sweat shirt in animal print I will be trying for a short sleeve version of it . Oh and you can use sheets for dresses and tops too. I found a set of multiple floral print and a lilac bed skirt that matches the print sheet . The price of sheets was a gifted item and the bed skirt was $3.00 plus taxes. I'm thinking if putting a lace curtain under slip for contrasting edge. And a ruffled tank top with tied shoulders. And a couple of king sized pillow cases in tan and red checked and a matching red case for summer dress and a over lay jumper for fall time and winter layering. Plus a navy sheet and multiple blue striped sheet for a dress and a jumper . Witch I can layer with leggings too in colder months. Plus the jumpers will work with my jean shirt dresses witch was bought at goodwill for $6.99+ taxes before prices changed up. Plus I have a pair of walking short just above the knee that are the perfect fit stretch fabric that will use as a pattern for more shorts and use the jean shirt dresses for patterns too because I'm a 14-16 petite wide. Plus I buy 2-3 x men's shirt too turn into my size blouse at yard sales for $.50-$2.00 and sweat shirt too turn into jackets with zipper fronts and printed sweat shirt too add inches too smaller shorts.
Thank you so much for watching. It sounds like you have been able to find a lot of thrifted fabrics to turn into beautiful garments. Have fun sewing. 🧵🪡😊

Hi Cynthia! I'm glad you were on the tour! I just found out about this challenge this year and I made a video also to join in on the tour.😊
Great top!❤
Great pattern choices!
I'll check out your vlog. It's a fun and frugal challenge to participate in. Thank you for watching and commenting. 😊🪻
Love the top your wearing did you say peppermint padditon ? If so what size if you don’t mind me asking. I have such trouble which size to cut on a pattern and I love it when someone wears something that is about the same size as me that I can ask so I can determine thank you so much for your videos and content
Thank you for watching. Yes, it is the Paddington top. I should have mentioned the size in the video. It is an F. My measurements would put me in a G, G and F. I find the F is perfect. Also, I lengthed the blouse by an inch.
My dog likes an audience too.
It's funny how they do that 🤣
In the edit information below the video, I added links to the patterns I talked about in this video. I hope this helps anyone who is interested in downloading any pattern.
I really like the Citron tank top, but I cannot find it on the Maison Fauvre website. Would you be able to send me the link, please?

@@MountainAccentsSewing Thank you. My spelling was incorrect, that is whyI could not find it. I just need to work out which size to make, and then I am good to go.
I looked at Hand London and didn’t find the poly top. I would really like to make that top. Could you post a link to it please?

Hi Cynthia...enjoyed seeing your vlog. The Polly top and the Tripoli trousers are new patterns to me I have downloaded. Not sure I will fit in the Tripoli's but downloaded them anyway. Thanks. xx Karen
I hope they work out for you. Thank you for watching 🙂
Lovely patterns Cynthia. I've almost finished the Maison Fauve Tilda blouse which I hope to have ready for 31st.
I'll look for it on Instagram. I will share my Maison Fauve Citron top then too. I need to invest in more of her patterns. 😊
Thank you for this video- lots of good sewing pattern suggestions. I had to laugh when you spoke of your dog wanting to eat with you there- my dogs do the same. 😂
Glad you enjoyed it 😁
