This is a great list. French patterns are some of my favourites, but I haven't heard of several of these designers. I absolutely love Atelier Scammit. Their Declic and Azur top were some of my first garment patterns that taught me french seams. Also love the Pleaides 2 dress, I've made several!
Great selection and as a native speaker, I can tell you your accent is not bad at all! Very glad that you've made me discovered some pattern companies I didn't know so thank you 😊 I also love this Deer & Doe jumpsuit, it's definitely on my list!
Absolutely amazing! What a treasure trove. I am getting back into sewing and I can see myself trying many of these pieces. Thank you... your taste is exquisite! ❤
thank you so much! i'd never heard of republique du chiffon so i went to their website and ordered 3 patterns - and that was restrained - i will definitely shop again. love your videos, liz xxx
Such a great selection of patterns (several entirely new companies to me!) and wonderful makes, I love your aesthetic! I really enjoyed this, thanks so much! ❤💃
Another great round up and thanks for sharing your makes - gorgeous. I've made the AK top too - comes together so well I think and a lovely classic shape.
Very happy to find your channel Gemima, I love your makes. Just about to start a Reeta shirt dress myself. Wonderful suggestions & looking forward to seeing more from you
I’ve made the republic du chiffon Nellie blouse and it’s a great pattern. Lovely to see you mention Delphine Morrisette as I’ve looked at her patterns many times but not yet bought one. Also Jolie lab has some feminine French patterns - I do like their gilet. Your makes look very stylish and swiftly sewn up. I enjoy your vlogs.
Oh Gemima Sue again here! You really made me smile re the tulips - I promise you it works - I add about six 2p coins! I always love your videos so full of lovely ideas. I love Deer and Doe - they are beautiful designs. I believe they’ve been bought out - is that right? Anyway still available and I thoroughly recommend! So many gorgeous ideas here and so little time! The French are so chic and your French accent is really pretty good (as a retired French teacher I feel able to comment! Ps coquillage (pronounced cocky-ah-j) means shellfish, which pretty aptly describes the shape). Thanks again for your time and inspiration ❤
Delighted to have stumbled on your channel, love your makes particularly the striped trousers. I have made the Plaedes dress and its a lovely summer/ holiday dress.
Just found you and really enjoyed learning about these lovely patterns. Love french patterns but like you, struggle a bit with pronouning, just hope translate will help with the instructions. Thanks for such a lovely channel.
Hi Rachel, really enjoying your channel. Would you consider showing us how you bagged out the raisin coloured top? I’ve been trying to work out how to do this for sometime and TH-cam hasn’t been helpful so far. Looking forward to seeing the finished Chanel jacket.
New follower, loved all your ideas. Would love to make those pants exactly like you, can you share where you purchased the striped fabric and matching tank fabric? Thanks!
Hi Monica, I bought the fabrics in Walthamstow from shops on the high street, the stripe was from "Fabric Textile Central" at 134 High St and the jersey was from "Fabric Store 2" at 70 High Street, both Walthamstow E17. Happy Sewing!
Hi, thanks! the fabric was from the end of a roll in a local store although I think you could find similar online. It's a mini sequin on a polyester georgette base fabric, hope that helps.
a free French pattern I found this week is from Aime Comme Marie and it is the Aime Comme Madrague, a sleeveless Tshirt, I made 2 yesterday, one in black and one in white!
Hi, thank you, yes it's a lovely fabric but it's only available in the store I go to and they do not sell online, although I guess you may find it online somewhere, its a 100% viscose, wide width (150cm). I have just done a quick google search and found similar.
Hello Rachel ! Thanks for sharing your different inspirations ! Hope you don't mind me commenting, but I would like to let you know about my own brand, also from France, called Ose Patterns ("ose" means "being bold" in French). Happy summer !
Why can't I see any image on any of your videos? I can see everything else on TH-cam, but no images (only audio) for yours. I subscribed, and that made no difference. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
Gemima, what a treasure trove of patterns. Those striped pants are stunning. Thanks for such a quality channel :)
Thank you so much!

Hi, I'm sorry there's no image for you, I think if you contact TH-cam as I don't know why that is happening
A number of the tops look like you count switch them back to front for a different look.
Hi Kathy, yes you probably could as long as the neck line and shoulders sit correctly I think.
