Still one of the best F1 games on PS1 alongside Monaco GP Racing Sim 2. The graphics, the handling and the cockpit views in these two games were the best for me.

The issue is that in the maximum difficulty level I easily won the 98 Championship, with Jarno Trulli in a Prost Peugeot, and I think all we could remember how slow and unreliable was the Peugeot engine this 98 year. All opposite as in their production cars, I own a ZX Citroën (yes, very very old car) and since I own it, it never broke down. The RELIABILITY made car. Remarkable that I bought it with 25 years old and now it is 31. PD: I am going to look for this game and buy it.

@@xTimelessGaming DuckStation hasn't had issues like this for a long while - and if there are any lag spikes, they are likely caused by reading from the HDD
Beetle PSX on Retroarch can't play some games. Tried this it's very unplayable because it's very fast (I mean so fast when you started driving) and on SwanStation it's very slow.

This game has some seriously good graphics on PS1, even without all the emulator enhancements.

Formula One 2000 was a MUST PS1 F1 game
It was ok but there are issues with that game
For example some slowdowns that happen sometimes make the gameplay rough

Both emulator looks the same (on maximum settings) BUT BeetleHW is much more stable n smoother (no random lag spikes). 😁👍
