FYI: We have been together for 40 years, married in Massachusetts a few months after it became legal in this state. We had about 50 guests at our wedding which was at the home of a good friend. We wish you all a long, happy, healthy life together. All of your programs are well done with a good mix of information and humor.
What you guys did in Pride - running hand in hand - twirling and kissing was fantastic ….and had a massive effect on the crowd, the fans and the protesters!!! IMO it was incredibly brave of you …and in no way were you being disrespectful to the protesters!! 💥🌟🥇🏆👬🏆🥇🌟💥I read through all the comments and quite a number of people remarked that Jesus does not hate gays!!… Often homophobic people unjustifiably shelter behind Jesus or some other religious belief. In their minds they create a God who is homophobic, which is outrageous!!You helped to confirm all this!! 👏👏👏
This podcast is my favourite. Absolutely love listening to you all talk on various different topics. I think Frank & Dan are wonderful too! Thanks for bringing this podcast into my life 😊 The video of Nick & Ant kissing in front of protesters at London Pride was EVERYTHING! 🏳️🌈
Love this podcast. And I love the video of you both kissing at pride. It was a beautiful depiction showing that love always wins even in the face of diversity. Sending love from South Carolina.
We have been together 19 years now and married 7. Me 74 and husband 55. We we decided to get married, my daughter (from marriage in my trying to be straight days in my 20"s) had it all worked out in just days. No big plans, just close friends. Like Dan and Frank, I did what society expected of me..
We’re celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at the end of this month! Even though it wasn’t technically legal in Atlanta in 1999, we still count it. The ordained Methodist minister wasn’t supposed to do it but did it anyways after making us attend all the weekly marriage classes the straight couple had to. The ceremony was in a chapel (we call it our white wedding) followed by a reception with a 450lb drag queen southern gospel singer providing the entertainment all night. When civil unions first became legal (in Vermont) one year later we went and had our “white trash” wedding on our anniversary date with the Justice of the Peace in the gazebo in the center of the small town of Stowe. When it became legal in our new home state of NH in 2009, we did it again and again on our anniversary date and then married again in 2015 when the US Supreme Court struck all state bans. It’s been a long journey but the same day every time.

In regards to gay marriage in the US. It is fully legal in all 50 states as of 2015. If you does get appealed, The Respect for Marriage Act requires each states to recognized any gay marriage that is performed.
Over and over I love all 4 of you. This was another great podcast. Frank was right, there is never a defined time to get married. Do it on your own time and own terms.
Another enjoyable episode. I very much enjoyed your appearance at Pride, very brave and inspiring. I hope that you get your wish of having a 'Big Gay Wedding' someday soon. Love and best wishes to all four of you. ❤❤❤❤👬🏻👬🏻

I really enjoyed today’s discussion. I always wanted to get married but never got close to that much love. Oh well, too late now. I’m just another old gay.
Hey guys. I was in a bit of a funk early this week so missed the premier. This was a lovely podcast and I thank you very much for it. I live in the US and I fear not only for gays but for all of us. It's true, what has been given can be taken away. It's so easy to see instances of this. Take love ya all and see ya next time.
Negative comments come from people who are envious of what you have. Some people just can’t feel happy for someone else’s happiness or success😟😟 so sad!
100% agree, this goes back to our homophobia episode but If they feel so passionately about the LGBTQ and how we live our lives, there's probably a call coming from inside the house 🤫
First I LOVE this podcast! Nick and Ant, I’ve followed you for a long time and you guys and you’re both awesome!!!! In the US gay marriage is actually legal in all fifty states…on June 26, 2015 the US Supreme Court struck down all state bans on same-sex marriages and required all states to honor out-of-state same-sex marriage licenses. The case was Obergefell v. Hodges. Though I completely agree that the US is sliding backwards and as a gay man I’m fearful, but also hopeful that we will hold onto the rights we’ve gained here in the US!
Also, Congress passed a law requiring all states to recognize marriages that were legally entered into in other states, so even if the Supreme Court reversed itself in the future, and allowed states to restrict who they let marry, they would still have to recognize legal out-of-state marriages.
Nick, I can't believe you and your husband, Anthony are talking to Dan and Frank about your gay wedding, exploring your relationship and gay evolution on this video, I'm proud of you for that as a gay men!! 😮 #LGBTQPodcast #gaywedding #GayDatingAdvice
Another great video. Thanks, guys. In the US homosexuality was considered a mental disorder until 1973 when it was taken out of the DSM (a compendium of mental disorders.) Same-sex sexual activity was also illegal in many states until the Supreme Court declared such laws as being unconstitutional in 2003. Then, in 2015, the Supreme Court determined that it is "a fundamental right" for same-sex couples to marry, making it legal in all 50 states. That's quite a change in approx. 30 years. It's really awesome to see you two couples being in such committed (and legally recognized) relationships. I've been following Nick and Ant for some time now, and have absolutely no doubt about their committed, solidly loving relationship. The 2013 film "Bridegroom" is a tragic showing of what happened when a gay couple weren't married and didn't have the necessary rights. Looking forward to the next podcast.
Just a correction. Marriage equality marriage equality is in every state it is not on a case-by-case or state-by-state basis. That has been since June 26th 2015. The current supreme Court could try to change that but they will need a case
The thing that was missing from my wedding was my mom since she had passed away. A week before me and husband got married back in 2015 i had an emergency c section with my oldest kiddo also my only daughter i have a daughter and two sons. My blood pressure had skyrocketed so they had to do an energency c section she was six weeks early. My two oldest kiddos where priemes and my youngest was full term . But i feel like my momma is very much my guardian angel
I got married at 19. Im straightish but ive been with my h7sband for 22 years and married for 21 years. There is no time. As long as you know its uour person. Its a feeling you get. I also can say we have been through hell and back but still we are married some how. Not many would survive our marriage but we have. My Chinese friend gao and I been together for many years . I don’t really care what people think . Gao completes me and he is also martial art teacher . When anyone finds someone to complete each other they should be able to find happiness. Many of my straight friends are usually breaking up and cheating. GAO and I have disagreements but never will break up . I know deep down gao is my soul mate and soon will be married
I am sorry, but my group Pride was to show that we will not die in silence. I met two men that were at stonewall. They told us that almost every night the police were killing one of us. Till they get tired of being afraid, and started fighting back loudly. They told us we have to make sure that all the gays killed before Stonewall are not forgotten, like in the Holocaust. Most don’t know we get the black, and pink triangles from there. Gays and lesbians went to the prison camps and were killed there with a pink triangle for gays, and lesbians had a black triangle, and were killed in Germany.
