@@LaurenMcGowan It's one of those Yorgos Lanthamos movies and the cake is intentionally anachronistic, but the icing style is decidedly British and it could be interesting to explore the symbolism there. :)

The whole time I was hoping the bad cake was gonna be the Bridesmaids cake hahaha
I think a much more powerful character moment would be for her to spend truly too much time making a delicate gum paste flower, all in one piece. Then after placing it on and admiring her work for a second, pluck it out, drop it to the ground where it shatters to a million pieces and shove the cupcake unceremoniously into her mouth

Lmao. Why can’t the cupcake be purple? Also, I love frosting! So I adore it when it’s too much and it gets on my nose. Lol. I get the fondant hate though.
