Pretty dope to see animated Peter, May and Mary Jane together.
What I loved about every marvel 90s cartoon, is that every character was either super buff or almost always had their shirt tucked in😂
I think this is the first Marvel Legends figure of Alastair Smythe! I was hoping they’d make him someday.
Blade and Morbius 2 pack is needed! These two look really good Dan 👍
Instead we got Dr Strange and Morbius..... wonder if Blade will come with Baron Mordo?
Great set, I hope they release another two pack with Peter in the polo shirt and jeans with the one villain we REALLY need, Chameleon in his TAS suit.
Got mine today too, I'm absolutely loving these vhs 2 packs. Was hoping that if they keep doing this line that the next one could have been the chameleon and j. jonah Jamieson from the show.
Hope they get us the TAS Chameleon and Vulture!
Thanks for the review. Yes we animated Chameleon but we need animated Vulture to complete both version of the animated SinsterSix.

Great review bro! Lucky you got this two pack so early. I am also a huge fan of the animated series bring a 90s person myself. I do want to take a guess that Hasbro might give us one more VHS 2-pack with chameleon and an updated animated spidey (in the RYV body).
Awesome review, love the head swapping it's exactly what I want to see as someone who does unbox. What are the possibilities.
Love the turn this VHS set took giving us these mindseye versions of the characters. I hope we get Robbie Robertson and Harry Osborn along with Chameleon and Vulture and Flash Thompson with a Prowler.
I'm also in the target market for these. Loved the 90s cartoon, streamed it with my son so it's now also his introduction to Spidey. Smythe looks perfect! I just wish Peter had arms with the sleeves rolled up below the elbows. Look at the new Blade figure and 2pack Havoc. Swap those arms over and you'll have double jointed elbows for better range holding the camera. Also worth noting, as nice as it is to have flesh tone thwipping hands, for the first time in ML, they should have included web shooter wrist accessories since he doesn't have organic webbing.

In terms of looks yes but articulation it low on the list ... But maybe the fact that we finally have him and again looks good will boost him on many peoples list

Peter can’t afford Jordans. Hasbro chose wrong body for Animated body. Sorry Dan Yun. A wrong choice is a wrong choice. Smythe looks sweet! Pete looks fantastic!
I disagree, the Cel Animated body is perfect. Their mistake was making it exclusive to Walmart of all things. Terrible consumer practices.

I hope we keep gettin 2 packs like these, i wouldnt even mind more civilians like MJs aunt, harry, falicia, J Jona, Fury, theres loads of characters theu can do paired with this series icon looks for the villians

I like this two pack. A real missed opportunity is to not include an alternate Spidey sense head (with half Peter and half Spider-Man). I have the other two with Doc Ock and Green Goblin. Mary Jane is an awesome figure! I hope they continue this with more. Hopefully animated Spider-Man will be made bulkier and slightly taller next time (AND WITHOUT CEL SHADING). Hopefully that it comes with more hands and heads accessories.

My only complaint with Smythe is that he has pupils, even though he had completely white eyes when he became the Ultimate Spider-Slayer.
But that's just a nitpick, I'm just glad Alaistair Smythe finally has a new figure.

You could always make a spider sticker with proper numbers on it. Old vhs tapes always had stickers on them.

Did you notice the gap between the bicep and shoulder? Every time I push up the biceps to flush, they bounce back to the gapped position, and on both biceps. I’m surprised you didn’t see it? I see it on your figure as well…I guess it doesn’t bother you…yes, no?

I would of preferred a comic version of spider slayer. He's way way way cooler. And has a way better design.
