I think it's time that we need another Spider-Man figure comparison video. There's been so many great ones that have released since the last time you compared them. Sentinel, RYV, TAS. Which one is the best?

I love the x-men animated show and was happy to see the figures, but had to stop after jubilee because they look awful.
They don't want to give us the perfect Spider-Man figure, if they did it would already have been done. This one needs an un-masked headsculpt, no cellshade, toe articulation and to also come in this vibrant color. They'll fix 1 or 2 of those things but mess up the paint or something else to just keep the chase going.
If the RYV Spidey had the classic neck hinge and Sunfire butterfly movement, that would be my favorite ML Spider-man. Also think that would be a better size for 90s Animated, bc Peter was huge on that show haha. Thanks for the review!

They should have given him the joint at the base of the neck that Lizard and Gi Joe Classified figures have. They also should have given him the arms from the Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man instead of the Renew Your Vows one.
I absolutely love this new body, I've been using it for a bunch of customs, like this is the body they need to use for Nightcrawler no lie looks amazing, dope review bro this is definitely worthy of pocket fig potential

I've also been trimming the lower belly to get much better range in the crunch, and popping the torso off helps to mod the upper crunch, afterwards he can crunch better then mafex imo
3:18 The version that doesn’t have the cel-shading is the Spider Man in the Amazing Friends 3-pack coming out this year, same buck, same colors, same spider logo, just a different head
I like a hinge with a ball peg for the head. That's the only thing missing from ROV. What Spiderman really needs is a ball peg in the neck to get those really crazy poses
when It was first announced , I have no interest in getting it but just saw this vid and.. man the colors really look good and vibrant. Unfortunately didn't pre-order. Hasbro should just use the buck in renew your vows 2 pack since it has toe articulation and a bit taller but I think it's about hasbro's marketing strategy. Also in the Animated series, Peter Parker is already a full grown adult and using the Amazing fantasy mold doesn't make sense.
I personally feel the world’s greatest hero is Superman by far because he created superheroes no matter what anyone says. Anyways Spider-Man is definitely up there 👏🔥
I just got a loose renew your vows spidy and a carded symbiote spidey and Im hooked. it took all my willpower to tear the card open, but i have them posed fighting eachother. Went from having only star wars on the shelf to collecting two new lines in a week.

Depends on how you like your spider-man. Personally AF15 is my favorite but that’s the beauty of having all these options. Everyone has a figure for their taste.
This would be super cool to come across but knowing Walmart my chances are 1/10. I really hope ML can make a 2003 and Spectacular series someday. Not a huge demand for the 2003 stuff but they had some cool characters in that one
I honestly thought the atrocious head was just mine until I started watching reviews and found out is actually the way it is, it only looks good from the front. I put Pizza Spidey's head on mine and it looks waaaayy better, even the proportions look better.

They really ripped off a lot people when they put it on walmart. I was on there waiting and once it was up, i couldnt even add it to the cart. Was gone within 5 minutes.

I'm not a fan of the cell shading, BUT that is the best color blue for Spider-Man, ever!!! I hate the darker blues that Hasbro uses. Now I have to go and find me an Animated series Spider-Man.
This figure and the newly announced cel shaded black suit spider man are what inspired me to make a marvel universe custom Spider-Man TAS figures, both the classic suit and the black suit. I’m proud how they both came out and I’ll probably pick up a ML animated series Spider-Man
I really wish they used the renew your vows two pack Spidey body for this animated design... thats the best Spidey buck out there, pinless with toe articulation, and bulkier than this small teenage looking Spider-Man. I always remember him looking more muscular in the cartoon, strange they went for this smaller softer looking figure...

I think that the arms are reuse from the renew your vows Spider-Man because they have a smaller elbow cut and I think they Match the sculpt.
As much as I prefer the AF15 body mold, I feel like this figure should've been on the RYV body mold; as Spidey was a buff boy in TAS.

It uses the RYV Spidey's arms and thus can pose up the arms more smoothly, unlike the AF one.

How any toy company is still putting outdated ugly neck hinged joints instead of a dumbbell neck joint in 2023 is beyond me.
I paid $100 for mine off of eBay just for it to show up and the webbing on the face is off. Makes me wanna give up on hasbro.

While it's not the best. I think this has the best build. Not too chunky, nice and lean.
For some reason they added the RYV shoulders, and they just look too long. It's a shame, because once you notice them, it's really hard to unnotice.
This and the ryv spidey will probably be the last two spideys I buy from marvel legends unless they do a super comic accurate figure
