- Whilst I have the motor out of this $500 turbo 740 I picked up, I decided to do the accumulator modification to eliminate the granny shifts. I'm terrible at narrating these videos lol. Sorry about that guys. The actual work that is involved in doing this mod is straight forward and simple. Enjoy guys. Like, comment and sub!

Great video, looking to perform this mod when I pick up my aw71 before swapping it into my 240. I'm also looking to make close to 300hp as a fun project.
what does the mod do please? It just shifts harder?
cool vid and a nice simple mod. do you know if this works on all versions of the trans (70/71/72) or if this is exclusively for the AW71?

Hey bro.I have the transmission but it doesn’t shift from one going up it only drives in gear and reverse.What should I do?
How did it turn out? Isn't there something with the balls and the drilling of some holes?
Its great! Shifts much firmer. No drilling required.
do you have to take the entire transmission off the car to do this? seems like it'd be possible to keep the trans mounted ?

Amigo, puede ser tan amable de decirme donde van conectadas las tuberías que van encima del cuerpo de válvula de una caja aisin 03-71 montero sport, es que compre una camioneta con la caja dañada y dos mecánicos no han dado con la solución. Y viendo videos e visto que llevan 2 tuberías pero no se donde van instaladas, a ver si fabrico esas dos tuberías. Gracias
