brian carroll, aka buckethead, is one of the most gentle, kind souls out there. unlike what you'd think, he's a very shy and soft spoken individual who has had very few out of character interviews. This is one of the reasons he dons the white mask on, that and because of his love of horror films. along with this, one day after practicing, he went out to get some deli chicken, and thought about the kfc bucket and if he put it on his head. this inspired him to just play this persona. to this day not very much is known about him, but he gave an out of character interview in October 2017, talking about his heart condition, family, hobbies, amongst many other things. He's a terrific guy from what i've heard, and a genuine soul

Wisse Wester zero drugs and alcohol, maybe too much Diet Coke...haven’t you heard from all his bandmates and family? Buckethead is an introvert that does not dabble in mind/body enhancers

For me, one of the best artists in this galaxy. There are many very good guitarists, fantastic and incredible musicians. But he is out of any word. No compliment does him justice. We would have to invent a new language to get closer with this kind of talent, I think. And I agree with another user in the comments section: Nottingham Lace...another amazing piece. Regards!

Nottingham lace(Ardmore theater or the video with the most views simply titled Nottingham lace are both better than studio

Matt, I’m with you my friend! The first time I heard Buckethead was on the radio and I had no idea what he looked like! After some research, I discovered the KFC Bucket that he wears on his head and that started me listening to anything and everything I could get my hands on played by Buckethead! In my opinion, he’s as good as Eddie Van Halen and maybe better from a Technical point of view! The man is a “GUITAR GOD”!

  • @ShounenN

  • @lostsoul_2024

He tries to raise awareness on the practices of KFC with the chicken killing in shitty conditions and all that. He also is very shy and has tons of great great tunes, my absolute favorite being Aunt Suzie.
I don't really know that much about the technicalities of playing guitar, but to me he seems to be one of the best, if not THE best player out there right now.

You asked about the mask. Buckethead is a VERY shy guy. He is very self-conscience about his height and his looks. Even though he is what we would consider a "handsome man" he is very withdrawn. If it were ME I would rip that bucket and mask off an shred the shit out of that guitar!!
