As of April of 2024, 15 oz. Hormel is $2.48.....16 oz. Campbell is $2.42, so the current winner is "Campbell's"........I'm growing tired of Hormel when you have cheaper/better choices like (Armour, Wolf, Campbell's, etc...). Many people enjoy "Wendy's" canned, but it's LITERALLY twice the price of everything else at nearly $4.50 a can, therefore, if you're a Wendy's fan, get Campbell's because it's half the price & taste nearly the same. But "ARMOUR IS KING!"...👑🍜
Yes. Prior to cooking I add about 1/8 cup of Pace medium picante sauce and a dash of cumin. And I never eat it without some Fritos, Monterey Jack cheese, and a dollop of sour cream. One of my guilty pleasures 🤗
I like CAMPBELL'S Chicken Noodle Soup a lot. Big time! But also there is no question 'HORMEL'S canned Chile with Beans' is without question the tastiest, and most delicious of all canned Chiles I have ever had. Big time! Recommended.
Campbell's chili is my favorite canned chili. It taste more like a nice, homemade, bowl of chili. Where as Hormel chili to me is more like a "French fry topper" or great for a chili cheeseburger recipe. You didn't talk about Wolf Brand Chili but I like that brand chili on my hot dogs. Just saying...😊
Campbell's Chunky chili is a high quality product. I don't buy it because the flavor profile has a sweetness I don't like. I don't like sweet chili. Stagg and Chili Man are two more brands that make high quality canned chili but I stay away from them because of the sweetness. I like the flavor of Wolf Brand best and Hormel is consistently good.
@@MichaelTheophilus906 I just finished cooking a beef stew, its mostly potatoes, corn carrots celery beef, a make a flour rue, seasonings were just salt pepper n montreal steak spice, and cayenne garlic, and an onion. letting it cook before I dig in.
Cambells chunky chilli with beans for me. It just has that moms home made taste.
I really like that comment. Mom's home made cooking is the best.

Campbell’s has a steak chili that’s really good... and I believe that the Campbell’s is much healthier
Thank you, I will have to try the steak chili.
The most recent Campbells chili under the Slow Kettle name, is pretty darn good. It doesn't taste canned, or watered down.
What if you mixed the two
Just to show my age but horseless and armor was made with shredded beef not ground and the no bean was outrageously good.
I did not know that and the shredded beef sounds really good. Thanks!
You are supposed to pour the Campbell's Chunky Chilli over a bowl of rice.
Campbell’s is better!
I'm still looking for my favorite.
Great video. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching!
Is it possible to make Hormel chili taste better? How?
Sometimes I'll add some chili powder and a couple shakes of Franks hot sauce.

@@lisamiller1699 You're the G.O.A.T
Thank you for this test. I am going to add them both together with chili and tomatoes
There is a Hormel chunky chili without beans that is my favorite.
Awesome, I will try it.
No contest. Campbell's wins hands down.
I appreciate your opinion and thank you for watching.

I do appreciate your opinion and it is good when you can find a chili that you like.
Yes, it is.
Chilli Omelet. It is real thing. I used to buy them at a breakfast Cafe in Venice Beach. Board Walk.
That hormel chili would have you on the toilet instantly
Yikes!! Thanks for your response.
