@@davidanstine4476 It's clear you've never driven any emergency apparatus. The people who turn in front of them usually have their heads up their asses, their radio blasting, they are on their phone, ear buds stuck in their ears turned up to 9, or just old people who can't hear worth a shit. I was a career driver engineer in a popular Florida tourist town. Some of the worst drivers in the world. The numb nut rig driver in this video won't last long.
@skateboardrider100 its a recording. Our station has a intercom which when our tone drops we hear what the call is then a bell and that tone goes off lol plus i downloaded it on my phone for active911. Which is basically a pager on your phone lol
this drove ambulance paramedics until they popped in front of me at the crossroads :) else you know, when I ran into them they had to pay full repair of my car!
To start off, I absolutely love the fire department! I've always wanted to go on a ride along and these videos make it possible for everyone to experience being a firefighter. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SERVICES! also this one made me laugh so much *inaudible* We don't have one of those, dumbass!
Does anyone else hear the Emergency! tones at the begginning? I'm starting to hear it on alot of fire response videos and it dosn't sound like it's actually in the video like my youtube is messed up after watching an episode of Emergency!
Rick1885 True, Our county is good with ours, We usually get it through active 911 maybe 5 seconds before the tones go off. Probably depends on the dispatching system?
Also, I am really appalled by US drivers now - the normal siren should be heard from roughly half a mile away. Add in the Q siren, double the distance? At close range - 1/4 mile - the horn makes it obvious that you really should pull over and not just keep driving until it conveniences you. Are American drivers just plain ignorant, or tone deaf and ... stupid...?
Please send this onto the Engine 255 crew: At 1:46, a car cuts across the fire truck. Next time, instead of swearing (which they won't hear anyway), take down the damn plate number, and send it to the police. Yeah, ok, so it's one driver - one less that will cut you off in future. They might also tell their friends.... many other drivers that won't cut you off?
the engineer looks a little small lol and lmfao at the people in the back, im surprised if the lt didnt yell "Dont make me turn this truck around!" lol
Yelling obscenities at fellow workers? Wow, who let snowflakes into the fire service? You never heard of friends and brothers talking shit to each other, because that's exactly what this is. Hell, I call some of my best friends..people i'd put my life down for worse things than you could ever imagine and they do the same for me...that's how some people bond.
Damn. They could make a gang of money off all the moving violations if they could be caught. Look at all of them that failed to yield just on the 2 lane road
how do they get that as a tone? Is it just a recording or dispatch sets it? Please reply if you or anyone knows. Because we have our tones set off by dispatch and our station does a loud bell and a intercom voice
ASSHOLE!!! haha. And the dudes door coming open. Classic Volunteer fire department. Stuff like that happens at ours all the time. Thats why I love it. JCVFD Sta. 180
There's just something that irks me seeing 19/22 year old crew and driver. I like the Chicago vids better since they're older looking and actually look experienced.
Lol.....A lot of people are surprised that volunteers make up most of Prince George's firefighters, and that P.G. is one of the nation's busiest fire departments. While the VOLUNTEERS gp to a modified fire school, they are required to have a lot of additional training before they can fight interior fires. Since the career guys tend to work weekdays, during the dayshift, the majority of experience goes to the volunteers, who tend to work all evenings, all weekends and all holidays, in the county. Some county departments are 100% volunteer. Of course, some of the volunteers are careers guys, elsewhere.
kind of unfair to say that it irks you to see 19 to 22 year old firefighter responding remember the chicago firefighters were once 10 to 22 year olds at one time
Believe in Jesus Christ and you will have Everlasting Life, to believe in someone, you are convinced that they are true. If you Believe in Jesus Christ, you will be Saved by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in Jesus Christ Alone, John 3:16, KJV. Once you are Saved, you are always Saved, John 6:37, KJV...
I know how about when you are filming try acting a little professional. No swearing, no talking like a group of immature kids. That’s why volunteers are the joke of the fire service. Same job... not even close.
*door closes*
"What the hell?"
"We're not there yet Josh!"
XD lmao, hilarious
thats cool i heard the emergncy station 51 alert tone
2:24
Hahahahaha
"We're not there yet man."
Lmao! "We got a fender bender, can you send EVERYTHING?"
lol
junebug9594 accurate representation of how it works
junebug9594 x00
junebug9594 that's pgfd for you
That's how you drive an engine. Push the bastards out of the way!!
First vid I could see the Roto-ray on. looks mesmerizing!
Also, that silver Lincoln deserves a citation for taking a passing advantage like that.
Yeah. That was a ballsy move
This video rocks. The humor is great, the driving is great, and then on top of it the outcome the "We got a fender bender..." irony reaction.
That's a nice alerting system! If PG County actually used 2+2, I imagine Clinton would request Station 51's tone sequence.
"we have a fender bender, send everything"
did they just bust out the Emergency classic Station 51 tone? Thats awesome!
nice job driver and officer
A BIG HELL YEAH ENGINE 255 CREW FROM UR BROTHERS IN PITTSBURGH PA
I second that from forest county PA.
Keith Petrie hell yeah
Thank you for your service
your crew is cool
great siren action including the asshole part that made me laugh
"We got a fender-bender could you uh... send everything?"
:P
If my company did that we would be in a lot of trouble
Nice to see at 6:10 the cop helps out.
1:46 "ASSHOLE!" lol
Who would turn in front of a fire truck when it has its lights and sirens on
😂😂😂😂

I went to high school with that guy. He definitely was back then.
whats the switch that the engineer turns when they are pulling out
2:30 *opens door* "We're not there yet!!" xD

*inaudible*
We don't have one of those, dumbass!
Always gotta be one that just can't be bothered to wait for an emergency vehicle to get by traffic
"we got a fender bender, can you send, everything?" XD

+thebrandonp88 I don't personally like active 911, it's not as fast as the pagers.
Rick1885 True, Our county is good with ours, We usually get it through active 911 maybe 5 seconds before the tones go off. Probably depends on the dispatching system?
2nd Lt. Cohiba Fox Often times our Active 911 come before the pager goes off, or they just don't send one where i live 😂
Seems like every PGFD talks like that... and "I was out Back- No Tardiness" its great
What station alerting system is that?
Emergency station 51
what was that power call siren at the beginning.
typical legend alert tones in the station
Cool fire dept truuks sien and sounds 😢😢😢😢make my heart like its fire dept trucks
Awesome video gentlemen I take it u don’t normally respond to fender benders unless a serious one stay safe out there
Hell yeah, Quick Call!
Man, I hope this vol'ie dept. has good insurance.
Yea I do to. I know people are suppose to get out of the way but that engine driver very nearly hit people couple different times.
@littleroyNLR aww cmon if your in the sservice you know how it is. WE/they are just playing around. on the firegroud we are family

i think its more of a "i don't give a shit" plus most of the people are probably illegals that don't speak english let alone know traffic laws
Its Maryland. No one can drive there. I should know considering I am a native from that state.
that's why the rumbler is out
holy christ..this video rocks!!
Station 51 kmg365

ntcrawford722 What the actual fuck is wrong with you?
VerilyVerbatim Heat of the moment. many of us have done the same thing. further action is either taken, or blown off.
+Jack Angermeier Yeah, I know. Just kinda annoyed at the lack of consideration by that driver.
VerilyVerbatim By the car? me too. the person who cussed was the officer of the truck
Well you can't be fired as a volunteer. And it's not like that person heard them. Not really a big deal.
pssst...you can be "terminated" as a volunteer...what clown department are you with?
Wow Super video Wow 5 *

How unprofessional the crew to be yelling obscenities at fellow workers and the public. You would get fired if you worked for my crew.
Yelling obscenities at fellow workers? Wow, who let snowflakes into the fire service? You never heard of friends and brothers talking shit to each other, because that's exactly what this is.
