Extension cord! In the hostels I've been in, it's hard enough to get access to one plug. Let alone 2 or 3! Also if you're travelling somewhere where you need an adapter, this lets you only need one adapter plug to charge your devices - and can totally be a friend making scheme too!
Ooh! Ooh! NEVER bring anything that has sentimental value...your Grandma's necklace or your Grandpa's nice pocket knife...or a favorite band T-shirt that you got at a concert! My first trip through Asia, everything "cool" I had...clothing, gear was pilfered!! Everything you bring should be easily replaceable! Here's a test...imagine you're standing on a cliff and someone throws your bag off the cliff...if you feel regret and loss of some special item because it can't be replaced..LEAVE that at home!!
bizarre comment. the lesson here should be to take care of your belongings. I travelled and lived in SE Asia for several years, living and even working in several hostels - i can’t recall ever having a single item “pilfered”. take responsibility for your belongings.
I carry a bunch of things that make not only my life, but others too. I use paracord as a clothesline and for what ever else I want it for. with that I have 10 spring cloths pegs that I fish the rope through, so that they don't disappear so easily I carry a 3 hole adapter for local power as well as a 3 or 4 hole North American adapter This way if I take up a plug hole I leave at least one other for others. you can find them easily and if I know I'm not going back there again soon, I can "donate" it to someone. I also bring a 10 port USB charger, not only for the 4 or 5 things I might need to charge but again for others to jack into as a favour.
Great video but the line below “Eating with your hands like an animal” This line was offensive, especially for people whose culture encourages eating with hands.
Dutch army foulding bucket. Great for doing handwashing of some small chlotes like shorts, T-shirts, underwear, socks etc. Just let it soak for a few hours while place it under a bunk bed. After that rinse it at the sink or in the shower. And let it dry at some hangers or at a cord like you showed. Saves you money and time at laundry services.
Heey! I am just planning to do the video about cheap travel essential and I will talk about hostel live too. What I am planning to add is a water filter. Anyway, thanks for sharing your must haves, your video is really nice, I hope it will get the views it deserves soon!
Hi! I love this video but I would really like to have the specific item references. I am really interested in a good clothesline, a microfiber towel that folds that small, a compact toiletry bag and a nice sleeping bag liner but there are so many options out there it's quite confusing :/
Check out the brand Sea to Summit. They have most everything he recommends and i’ve been using their products for years and will vouch for their quality.
Hi, thank you for all the great tips. Could you please give advise on your backpack size and tennis shoes. I am going away for a year and I need a backpack with enough space and good walking shoes. I appreciate your advise.
I’ve been planning to do a 3 month Europe trip in a year from now, I’ll be 18 when I do it like you. I appreciate these videos a lot! Do you know anything about traveling with Eurail in Norway ? It just seems like a country that wouldn’t have too many trains with its terrain. Thanks!
I’m doing 3 months this fall! I’m 57 & retired. I’ve been all over the Americas, but have never gone to Europe. I always thought I’d visit Europe, but I wanted the walking back experience and suddenly I realized walking isn’t getting any easier as I age! So I’m doing it. Congrats on your goal at 18 - do it.
when I was 14 someone snored so bad I legit had to strangle myself to sleep to relieve the psychological agony of having to listen to a hacksaw all night where there really wasn't one. Nothing will drive a man quite so batty as this. Snoring has even caused divorces. Edit: I won't forget to wear a bra over my eyes. will I have to wear a thong around my ears?? oh right.. the earplugs.. good cuz that would be weird😅
I didn't know animals ate with hands. This was an eye-opener for me. 😂

Your example is outrageous... Why would some one throw your bag off a cliff... Wtf.. who would do that...like
@@chandankage they’re not saying that will happen! it’s a test to determine how sentimental your items are

Bro that combo lock would be extremely easy to crack, all of them are but 3 is ridiculously easy

Great video but the line below
“Eating with your hands like an animal”
This line was offensive, especially for people whose culture encourages eating with hands.
As a south east asian who eats with their hand most of the times, i was shocked to hear the blatant offensive remark..
Agreed. I actually came looking for this comment because I was thinking, “I can’t be the only one who thought that was completely offensive.”

Just use laundry nets instead of packing cubes, does the same with extra puruposes
The travel cubes aren't only for clothes ;) you'll have one for toilettries (?), One for sleeping Things incl. Pillowcase, one for Tech etc.
That clothesline is brilliant!
Welcome back! Great video.
Thanks, Noah! Glad to be back.
can you show us your 3 month eurrail route?
What about for the older folks ? I know many in their 20's stay at these places ...Best Place to visit ?
Great video! Thanks mate

Great video man! Really curious if you travelled during the pandemic. And how it was if so?
Great Bountyhunter Ship!
Very helpful!!!
question regarding using the clothes line at hostel: where did you set it up, in your bank bed area?
Bro you should link some of your favorite buys
Great video 👍
Great video! What are some of the hostels you stayed in? Any recommendations?
Hey Collin, thanks for this great video !
Where did you find this clothes line ? (Can't find one)

did you go on your trip?
@@compactcelsius269 I did! It was really neat!
Animals use hands for eating?
Where did you get your stretchy clothesline?
If someone turned the light on in the middle of the night there’d be hands thrown
Did you just say 'eat with hands like an animal' 😢😢
“Like an animal”.. do u really need to mention that. I like ur content but that statement is quite upsetting
Hahaha settle down
