- Ruidoso, New Mexico, was hit by a massive wildfire and now faces severe flash flooding. Officials confirmed that two were killed after fire ripped through the area and over 1,400 structures damaged.

My heart goes out to this man and his family but, Why did he say, “I’ve been in fires before … “ then says, “I’ve never been through this before?”
One house being on fire is different from your entire town being destroyed by a fire my guy. He's thinking of everyone else who hasn't been through this before, and these thoughts are new to him.
He was a firefighter before.
Sadly this is more and more commonplace in the mountains of the west and south west. Climate change is real folks and these forests are incredibly dry for large parts of the year so any accident or intentional act will product horrendous blazes within hours.
It doesn't help to be in a drought, it also doesn't help to be cloud seeding either.

New Mexico is a State between Texas and Arizona. They get this a lot though. lol!! It is a beautiful State. I have been to Ruidoso. So sad what is happening!! Praying everyone stays safe!!

No, in terms of pregnancy, normal gestation is 40 weeks.
It is nominally 40 weeks but people commonly refer to 9 months because it is typical to discover pregnancy at around 4 weeks when the woman misses her period.
"Never let a serious tragedy go to waste." MLG is sopping up this attention like a biscuit in a pan of gravy. She has routinely ignored the people of southeastern NM and now she is gorging herself on their misery.
For those who went deep the Hawaii wildfires rabbit hole know that these events aren't natural at all, look for an aerial view filmed with drone, and any free thinker with basic knowledge will see the fire was selective and fire doesn't behave like that. Cars with melted rims, melted glass, next to standing untouched trees.
If we do nothing, next will be our city, our neighborhood, our houses ... We got to start asking what kind of technology they have that does that and demand this to stop.

It never got that close, that personal before. Fires in your region and a fire that runs you from your home is what he's trying to convey.
He said he had been in a fire before, but never this.
Firstly, he has a kid on the way like due any day now and is now homeless with nothing but keepsakes and clothes on their backs. On top of the stress of being jobless and trying to make sure you stay calm and comforting to your hormonal wife carrying your child. It's a living nightmare to have things get shaken upside down like that and worse to know people have died one person well known in the community.
Next,
New Mexico has wildfires every year. We have TONS of forest and mountain terrain, grass, plants that dry and burn easily.
Someone can be smoking and toss a cigarette driving down a freeway and within minutes you got a fire on the side of the road.
The weather has been terrible for the past month namely the wind which has gotten up to 60MPH plus always in a drought doesn't help.
It is not uncommon for those living in rural New Mexico to have to evacuate, however, having two fires closing in on a heavily populated area such as Ruidoso. That is fairly new.
No fires of this magnitude have caused such significant damage. As of the last I saw there are now 2 dead and 1,400 structures destroyed. When it comes to structures, THIS fire is the worst fire damage we have had and the two fires barely started June 17th.
The worst fire we had prior to this was in 2022 I believe it was two fires that combined into one and burned 300,000 acres 900 structures and accross 4 county lines from April to August.
This fire though is very large.
