My brother was handicapped and bullied everyday in school. I lived with him and witnessed what it did to him. He had a heart condition on top of looking different. He was a straight A student. It changed my life, and I know that people can be real vicious. Kids are not born vicious, they are taught through their home life sometimes, parents, their environment, bullies at school, and teachers that do nothing about it. Our schools need to change - I went back to college for a second time for literature. I am writing a novel about how kids should treat each other, and their environment. I hope I can make a difference - even if it is a small difference!

I noticed that to. Not sure if I was looking too much into it but my first reaction would have been sadness that I almost lost the man I love and the pain my son would feel from losing a father but her response was “ my life and my sons life were almost drastically changed “ which sounds like she really does see marriage as just what it can do for her ?? Now I could be wrong . Maybe she really did feel sad at the idea that she almost lost her husband because someone killed someone she loved and she meant her life is drastically changed due to losing the love of her life rather than being due to losing her lifestyle that he provides but who knows. To me that was a bit odd though . To be concerned for one’s own life rather than the man you loves life being no longer .
