Karr won this because they kept their composure a lil more than Carver. Carver kinda got too hype and people were just shooting notes not really playing together. Both tuba sections have too much going on… they don’t look or sound alike. Not use to hearing these two programs sounding like this but it’s the beginning of the season, I’m sure they’ll clean this up. Work on playing clean first then add volume midway through the football season. On the plus side, both don’t sound bad, very strong start off 💯💪🏾. I see growth in Carver’s drum section and I don’t mean size. They look together and sound good 👍🏾

Yes, it is early and the season didn’t even start yet. but a battle is a battle the two bands had something on their chest to get off and they both spoke with aggression and passion. Great start to the year for both programs, these two bands gonna be a problem for everybody who they cross paths with
@@supersonicstormofsouthwest8816 for me it's tone and intonation. Most of them haven't played together in a month or longer. It'll give them the to focus on the small details and overall sound. You can always add power in New Orleans lol
New Orleans bands practice all year round for those who don’t know the freshman class is where the lack comes from cause they’re first 2 weeks students
