I still think this game is much better than rise, there was heft to big weapons and it also looked awesome. The armors and weapons here were outstanding.
Now just imagine how crazy MH6 will look on their new RE engine Capcom finally upgraded to. Hopefully its a next gen exclusive as well, because I honestly want to see a MH game firing on all cylinders without having to make compromises in order to run on XBOX 1's and PS4's.
MHW is still the best one for me, Rise was given to me as a gift but me and my friend still haven't touched it xD We still play on World and I prefer helping peeps there especially on safi.

Lost Planet 2 was the best multi player co op game i played back in the days and then i ran into this and now im always a fan! such a great game i love it! i cant wait to see what the future holds.. and yes i did play Rise! THAT SHIT WAS AMAZING!
The crazy thing is the game runs like this (maybe minus a bit of texture quality and of course not higher than 60FPS) on PS5. It is crazy how expensive the PC setup is here in comparison.
4k is nice and all, but I reaaaaallly wanna play World at high frame/refresh rates. IMO games with high quality animations get the most out of it, and MH has superb animations

Game looks ok in close environments but outside world lighting is bad on this game. No matter what graphics card you have. I also play this game with max graphic settings with my RX6950XT
To think that this game already reach its peak performance on ps4 pro, I see almost no diffrences playing on PS5 other than loading time. And your PC only significanly imporve the quality.
this is real 4k at 100+fps. consoles are using upscaler(fake 4k resolution) with low fps. I had a ps4 pro and played mhworld. the graphics looks like medium settings and the pixels aren't that great/sharp.

At 1440p and 4k max settings u will see minimal bottleneck. Also dlss 3 frame generation mostly removes cpu bottlenecks in newer games also make 1% lows smoother than the normal dlss. outcome is wayy more smoother experience and also it completely removes stutters caused by cpu.

why dont you use DLSS instead of FFX? they do the same thing but DLSS is better most of the time also for dual blades alatreon dual blades are the best dragon dual blades for high dragon weakness + safi armor makes you deal insane damage if you want to try it

I use RTX 2080TI. When playing MHWI, the temperature of the graphics card often soars above 80°C. I don’t know if it’s because the MHW itself is not well optimized, or the 4090 is too powerful.
I have the 2080ti too, mine is fine @max settings 1080p 144fps. Not sure what res you use, but definitely manually turn your fans up to 100, it's what I do just to minimize temperature.
i will recommend you to undervolt the gpu. i also did it with my asus rog 2080 ti, there is no bad side effect of doing this. only if you lower too much your gpu will lose performance, but you can reset to defult setting at anytime you want and there is no gpu breaking to doing this. find your sweet spot. for example like mine, i lose like 1-3% of performance but i lost like 15-20 °C. there is a planty of it on yt how to do it. i hope you give it a try :) sorry for my english tho

It’s not as enthralling as World but rise is a pretty sick game in its own right.
Rise is more "clean" mechanically but World is more epic. Both are great games.
Rise feels more like a traditional MH games. Those who played the previous MH games would feel nostalgic. but for me i like MHW more

MH World doesn’t support DLSS for rtx 4090 because it’s an old game that has not been updated for ages.
