She's still getting anxious about that long scream, I think she can totally do it, she shows that in Heavy Is The Crown, but she is just getting anxious caus theres so much pressure on that part Edit: I should clarify, I'm not expecting her to do the full 17 seconds every time, but it would be cool if she could do 8 seconds, quick breath, then another 8 seconds like Chester did. This video is amazing and makes me smile every playthrough because it's almost like as if Emily's actually singing to the haters. I love it! Her raw energy, her talent and her love for this music gives her an instant iconic appeal. She's not imitating Chester as much as she loves singing his music, feeling his rage. I don't think I've ever been so mesmerized by Linkin Park's performances as much as I am now. She's a powerful human being and I can only imagine that she's an inspiration to women as well.

Also it’s Mike who writes and always wrote the lyrics he also along with those 3 members I talked about are the composers of the music so they don’t have to change the name. It’s their band no Chester’s band. Don’t get me wrong because I loved Chester but above all I love Linkin Park and Mike ways always the brains behind the band so it’s their call. That's exactly what I thought from the beginning. I think she believes "the more I try to fit Chester's shoes the better they'll like me" which I mean, is normal in the situation she's in, but I see people like her better when she sings the way she feels more comfortable (me included). People are so quick to judge and disregard things that are different before they give it a chance.
My favorite Linkin Park Song, can't wait to hear a cleaner version of this because this one is already killing it with her particular flair. I know it is just my opinion, but they could go this more heavier style that suits her incredibly well.

Mike met her in 2019, and they practiced for 8 months from what I’m hearing. She seems to be getting better, but her technique needs work for songs like this. Yes, she’s been in a rock band for 20 years, but this is different.

I want more of the in you soul feeling that chester hit us with and I don't get that at all from this lady they brought in. I wish the band nothing but the best. This one and Breaking the Habit honestly. And that aint her fault. These two songs were something unique. Chester was letting out some sort of deep internal demons with both those songs, and was battling them the whole time. Every night it was like he was gonna scream his lungs out of his own body on those two tracks just to purge whatever he was fighting as best he could......the emotions are simply to personalized I don't blame her at all for not having that sort of deeper connection to them. Like sometimes I swear I thought for sure Chester was gonna be coughing up blood by the end of this song at some sets from how hard he pushed himself.

Ok, my opinion about her has changed since I first commented on here. I still say that the scream needs work, but I think she has potential.
Mike should sing the low clean verses so that Emily can save her voice and come in strong on the chorus and the growls.

Andy Cizek and of course Ivo Rosario did 1000x better. Andy would’ve been a much better choice, and he’s a vocal coach. Cant get much better than that
