Guide on lowering ping and TCP settings. This will lower input lag, desync, and increase stability. Works for all games, this is not BDO specific.
BDO still sucks when it comes to desync, it can't be helped. But you will definitely notice the difference, especially on faster classes and when using grab classes.
Software:
ExitLag (Can use any VPN) - This has to be running before opening BDO.
TCP Optimizer - Set this once, never have to think about it again.

FAQ: Exitlag must be running before launching BDO. TCP Optimizer you set up once, then you can delete the file and never think about it again.
This channel deserves 100000 subs... easy. wish you da best hommiee
Thanks for this Scruff!
Oh wow, thank you so much good sir !
Thanks for the guide
First! Thanks keep up the good work!
DIdnt know about the tcp thing, do you have to run it everytime you open bdo for it to work?
Nope, set and forget for TCP optimizer. Exitlag you just need running, if you start up with windows, it will be in your taskbar, otherwise manually open it before running BDO
in Netowrk Adapter Selection should i choose the family conroller or the wireless adapter? i usually use WiFi
In the screenshot from description (or in the video itself), the checkbox under network adaptor is "Modify All Network Adaptors". That is ticked, meaning you don't need to select one yourself. Hope this helps!
@@scruffoon yes it was checked, although i chose the wireless, i assume since that box was checked it applied to both
Is San Jose 4 the best one to choose for BDO if youre on east coast?
Unfortunately I am not sure about East Coast specifically, but I would think San Jose or Los Angeles are going to the best in most cases regardless as they are roughly 20ping from the BDO server itself. So take the connection your exitlag says to the server, and add 15-20 ping to that.
Hey can you make video about huge fps drops in the game. I have 6800xt and 5600g m2 ssd 16gb ram everything but i still get fps drop on arena 1v1 with high-very low settings. It helps to comminty a lot.
Check out the graphics guide for FPS stuff. th-cam.com/video/iJWsV1bLFpk/w-d-xo.html
@@scruffoonI watched it 2 times but i cant find anything about fps drop shatter.
Apologies, I misunderstood. I don't have any fixes for FPS drops outside of the Graphics Guide. Xigncode update has caused stutters for many people due to it throttling CPU when it spikes temps. Sorry I could not help more.@@dumpex902
Can you share your experience before and after using TCP Optimizer?
More stable, less crashes, less rubberbanding and desync. In BDO specifically at least.
Does the tcp thing works with Asia Server
The TCP part is general TCP settings for windows. Not related to BDO specifically. Just how your PC handles connections. Will work for everything
Does this work for direct ethernet connection? I don’t use wifi
In the screenshot from description (or in the video itself), the checkbox under network adaptor is "Modify All Network Adaptors". That is ticked, meaning you don't need to select one yourself. It will do all adaptors if that is ticked. Hope this helped!
will exit lag helps if you play on wifi
Yes, without getting too technical in how exitlag works and helps ping, it does not matter if you are on WiFi or Ethernet.
I do the tcp thing until I have to click ok then my pc crashes and resets
Make sure settings are the same. MAke sure you have permissions on the PC to edit the registry, which you should if you are the main account. Otherwise, maybe skip TCP. First I have heard of a crash caused by it. It is just writing some registry file changes.
too small to read. try again on lower resolutions.
