Good video overall but there's a mistake. You said that accuracy rate and evasion rate are multipliers for your acc and eva stats which isnt the case. Acc rate and eva rate are actually static increases regardless of your acc stat or eva stat. 1% acc rate simply improves your chance to hit in the calculation by 1% and is equivalent to 4 acc stat while 1% eva rate simply improves your chance to dodge by 1% and is equivalent to 5 eva stat. As an example for why this is significant: at 6:10 you do the math for 32% acc rate with 1000 acc and come out with 1320 effective acc but in actuality 1000 acc with 32% acc rate is 1128 effective accuracy. For a lot of people this probably doesnt matter, especially if theyre using the Garmoth calculator which does the math correctly but i thought its worth pointing out.

Played season PvP last weekend. Full PEN Tuvala geared succession Hash, standard crystal setup (JIN Vipers, Elkarr etc.). Entire combo did like 10% HP to a Musa. 12 out of 13 hits in one of my abilities missed, he somehow had 200 more evasion than I had accuracy. And of course his slice attack or what it's called nearly 1-shot me. On season, where you're supposed to be gearcapped. It's not even the worst. Zerkers scale crazily in season. Succession Zerkers just jump on top of you and you pop like one of the mobs in their rotation, it's crazy.
Yeah the results can be pretty insane, especially at the lower gearscore levels like tuvala
How different do you think accuracy v evasion will be once we get the skill changes? The skill they showed went from 10% accuracy for the skill to 20% to make up for the lower hit counts on the skill. Sounds like it'll kill evasion unless you go full evasion accessories and don't plan to kill anything. Spose that's why centaurs and sicils prices tank.
No idea how it will work out. Theoretically yo uwill hot "more" but less attacks for less chances. I think it will feel nicer, but it will also be more drastic on those abiltiies. Where if the lower amount of hits, all happen to miss, you deal nothing, but if they all hit, you blow them up.
should archer build DR or EVA?
Can you cover what is a good % hit rate to aim for if I want to do the same damage to Eva and DR Players? What I mean is, obviously if they are Eva, I don’t need to hit them 100% of the time to do the same damage as I would do to a DR player. What would be the rough equivalent hit rate % point that would equalise the damage done to DR and Eva players?
And Let’s say An EVA player can get 400 DR and a DR Player can get 500 DR, would that hit rate equivalent point be 80% then? Do you think this is right?
Upto personal opinion. If you are doing a AP/Acc hybrid, I would pick either the lowest "acceptable" AP or Acc for yourself. Try to reach that, and then attempt getting as much of the other stat as possible. For instance 1000 Accuracy minimum, and then as much AP as possible once I reach it.
Personally. 50%+ is a good enough chance. RNG is RNG and you also have no idea how much evasion each person runs. 50% hit rate on the Hybrid EVA preset in Garmoth should be decent.
Quick question… can I go evasion with pen narcs instead of tet distos?
You can, Eva comes from the Boots/Gloves/Crystals/Artifacts/Lightstones/Offhand (kutum or eva offhand)

man, BDO is complicated, but the combat power progession is good, the gap power of old player and new player is not that far, I played BDM with easier mechanic, but the cp progession is insane, and the power gap is wide among old and new player
Now more than ever its easier to catch up at least. For all that BDO does "wrong' and annoys the playerbase, i definitely believe the game as a whole is in the best state its ever been currently. But yeah, that doesn't mean it doesnt get on players nerves haha

I was a Ninja main way before Valk and Scholar haha. Node War on Ninja is fun, not good, but fun lol. Scholar is fun, it is just too simple, easy and kind of gets boring. Stronger than most people think though. Valk is always going to be one of the best for Node Wars though, good to have one!
in endgame gear, dr will destroy evasion
In my opinion as a striker player i feel as though evasion is wayyyyy to op compared to dr and striker is one of the best evasion classes it takes an insane amount of silver investment for accuracy compared to some evasion build's the way bdo is built with the s and super armors ect, there's no reason why as a dr player with 301/401 you need to cc an evasion player 3+ times full combo em each time you cc em to land a kill because you hardly do no damage it's very frustrating in an action combat fighting game, im not saying there ain't some good players that build evasion but when you're bounding, knockback ,floating,knockdowns,stunning, full combing some shitter that can't even land a single CC on you because you're rotating super armors 's and frontal gaurds while you're literally just rag dolling them and doing no damage it's a hugeeee problem like where's the skill? lol you'll be fighting an evasion player as a dr player and get instantly melted through super armors and get your frontal guards deleted but then you'll see CC an evasion player full combo em do like 35% to 40% of their health bar have to re-cc them do another full combo do another 35% to 40% of their health bar then have to cc them again to finally kill them while they're melting you through your super armors and frontal guards nearly killing you while you're standing up not even cc'd
Thats the problem ...eva is meant to not get hit and Dr is meant to take less damage if u get hit so if they nerf eva players gonna cry bcuz now u squishy and anyone gonna be able to kill u accuracy or not ...then everyone will be runnin 1 build high Ap and Dr at that point u might as well get rid of eva on gear period ..but yet again crybaby humans are gonna always cry about sumthin instead of figuring out a way to beat sumthin...u dont hear soldiers cryin about the enemy even when they out manned and outgunned..they figure out a way to win ..STRATEGIZE not CRY

Full accuracy should counter evasion much more than it does, or DR needs to provide a better amount of damage reduction.
Definitely. At the lower levels especially. I think the biggest annoyance most players have, is that to counter Evasion you are looking at a very expensive Accuracy build for endgame, compared to a pretty damn cheap Evasion setup for endgame.
@@scruffoon Totally agree. I'm a succ lahn, half of my combo do not have accuracy on skill, we also do not have active accuracy buff (only 5% on passive) and no evasion shred. I have 4 accuracy accs (lunar+turos+dawn+ominous all pen, currently saving money for the 2º ominous) and i have like 50-55% hit rate vs a striker/ninja with 1300 eva, but he still have enough dmg to 1 combo me... Even vs hash or evasion classes with only 1200 eva, i only have like 65% hit rate against them, dealing like 70% HP(best case, full buffed with elixir rota) in 1 full combo with 4 accuracy accs + lightstones + artifacts + house buff 20acc.
I had to spend like 350b to "only" miss 40-50% of my hits and they only need a fking pen centaur 25b and still 1 combo me... what a joke XD
Cuz you are building accuracy wrong... You simply go full ap and swap to accuracy offhand and get more accuracy that those people with acc accessories... And you melt evasion builds with c20 offhand as cheap as that . Also evasion is not cheap cuz if you wanna put up a decent build you need pen debos and distos and more evasion swaps , offhands etc
I've played on season last weekend. And at full PEN Tuvala I literally couldn't hit a Musa for a single hit, because his Crystal Set-up outscaled the accuracy I could afford by like 200 points with his evasion. At least he was nice to talk to, pretty insightful.
@@Seiza_InSomniayou live in 2020 my guy … that’s very specific classes out there that can do it and those are striker and sage coz of the class kit / passive / modifiers you want to whine about something Pa should solve not players who build towards their class specific, I guess you also play on Na there’s full of drama queens 👸
