Hey Zach 😁 I loved my Note9!! Such a great phone. But I recently upgraded to the Galaxy S20 FE and I traded in my Note9. @@codgysmartech19 Thank you, for letting us know that it works! I was hoping to hear anecdotal evidence, and now I'm good. Definitely planning to do that before the Holidays this year. Enjoy your phone's new life!
You can always replace the battery
love my note 9, it's still a beast and the camera is superb in low light.
Yes people don't realize how good the cameras are even more with all the extra updates on the note 9
This phone is the best during this COVID-19 pandemic.
1. Unlock with the iris scanner while wearing a mask.
2. Avoid dirtying the screen (and your face) with the back-facing fingerprint scanner, and it also recognizes gestures.
3. SpO₂ sensor to monitor your heart rate and oxygen saturation if you are sick.
4. LED indicator without touching your phone.
5. SD card slot.
6. 3.5mm headphone jack.
7. No punch-hole selfie camera.
8. Stylus.
Still got the Note 9 from 2018 and still a beast.
Hi bro, first timer to your channel. I just picked up a note 9 for ZAR4500 / USD290 and it was flawless, not a single dent and just one small scratch. I am so happy with my purchase, came without box tho but that's fine. Must say recent phones charging speeds are much nicer but otherwise, a WATERPROOF phone of this calibre for this price is absolutely unheard-of.
Hey Zach 😁 I loved my Note9!! Such a great phone. But I recently upgraded to the Galaxy S20 FE and I traded in my Note9. I got $300 off the S20 FE :) I'm missing the fingerprint sensor on the back and swiping down for the notifications! But I really like that the S20 FE has all the buttons on the right side of the phone. That drove me crazy on the Note9 trying to reach the volume buttons on the left side. Other than that, and the lack of updates now, the Note9 is the best Note from Samsung, in my opinion. Thanks for the Great Vid!! 😊👍🏻
Just bought it while watching your video man, such a great review, I do appreciate it.
God bless you man, thanks a lot.
Still sporting it. I won't replace it until something spectacular appears, not ready to lose the 3.5mm headphone jack yet. The battery after 2 years is at 91% though, maybe the time has come to replace the battery
Thank you so much for this review, my wife was looking at this phone and I wasn't sure but it's helped a lot and both of us plan to buy this!! Keep up the good work 👍🏼
Also I subscribed because I want more videos like this!
The Note 9 really was the last great Note fingerprint scanner the design the headphone jack . Amazing. the pressure sensitive home button wow
Xperia 1 ii
Still on my Note 9 since Oct 2018. Love this phone and don't want to give it up. The battery life has taken a hit, phone is slower with some lag especially with keyboard. Text messages don't always go through and have to resend, also get delayed text messages at times. There are a few glitches here and there but I guess that's expected after 2 years of heavy to moderate usage. This is definitely one of the best Note phones Samsung has ever released. Almost forgot I was able to update to 2.5 earlier.
One of the best mid-rangers of 2020!
I fell in love with the Note9 since i received it on Christmas 2018
I am currently using the Note 20 Ultra and it is a huge step up, but i still cant let go of the Note 9... and i am not a person that hangs onto things/items... i just cant bring myself to part ways with the amazing Note 9...still doing its thing....
Still using my note 9... Rocking up... With no notch and 3.5mm jack ❤️❤️
Just put up my Pixel 5 for awhile and put my sim back in the Note 9, my gosh I missed this phone! Great video btw. In my opinion this was truly Samsungs last great phones before the headphone jack left and the moles ( Pinholes) appeared on their phones. Long live the 9 series.
I'm using Note 9 and its a beast!!
Had Note 10 Plus & now own a Note 20 Ultra. To this day the Note 9 is my all-time favorite device.
I love my note 9 still using since a yr plus . Didn't feel to upgrade
I'm still using the Note 9, 128GB (N960U) in the US and Canada and it's by far my favorite phone. The screen is still like new, very bright and the camera is fine. I highly recommend this phone.I see new ones on ebay for $300.
I'm loving these sort of informative videos mixed with the whole humor vibes. Great video man !!! Oh and although you did not ask for a 🥔, here's one 😁
I appreciate that you mentioned how fun it is to fidget with SPen and press on the button it has. I have clicked so many times, it is a form of meditation in itself.
Glad I found your channel. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching your content and the organic bloopers/humor. Big fan. POTATO.
Got a Note 9 in 2020. Love it
Hey man same here. This is still a keeper
Loving this revisit segment. Please do some more revisit vids, Zach! Great vid as always! Thumbs up! 👍🏻
PS your old phones really looks brand new. Grrat job in keeping them safe! 🔥🔥🔥
This how I feel with my current phone, my S9+
But the camera tho 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
I’m still using my Note 9. It is the best phone I’ve ever owned. I did just order the Note 20 Ultra and I’m hoping I don’t regret it. Honestly, I would have no problem using it another year as I’m told it will continue to get monthly security updates for that period.
Notification LED , headphone jack , iris scanner, heart rate sensor, expandable storage.
Still a beast and futuristic phone.

i have a Huawei P10 for almost 3 years now, and im looking for a new phone for a month probably, I was looking for iPhones x and 11 and things with the famous apple on the back until I remember ok ok and the famous note 9 ? I started my research and watch your video, and I mean wowww. the way that's you talk about this phone its amazing, all the specs are still crazy . you made my mind brother, you sold a note 9. I´m a designer form Portugal and a big phone its always a good ideia rigth. Anyway , you have a really great Chanel. good job and thanks :)
I still have one as a backup phone, love the fingerprint scanner and the iris scanner, I think it is better then the ultra finger scanner on the Note 20 Ultra.
Watching on my note 9, still love it and you showed me a couple things I didn't know it did lol
Still using my note9 don't really care about security updates because i use security software and Android 10 is ok and it has samsung wireless dex sd card and headphone support it's ok for me it has fast charging and wireless charging
Solid device for your everyday consumer. 👍 going strong with my note 9. Probably will be a nother few years before upgrading to a newer device
Just upgraded from Note 4 to 9. 512 gig, and don't plan on upgrading for MANY years.
Note 9 was definitely the last good note
Exactly.
how much of screen on time you're getting sir on what display fhd+ or qhd+
@@sricharanadigoppula9464 depends on what settings and features are toggled on. Brightness etc.
I ALWAYS put my note 9 on the 1440p WQHD+ Display setting.
I get a MINIMUM, 5.5 hours of screen on time.
Depends on how tired the battery is also. I have more than 1 phone so I rotate phones between the note 9 and others. So im not always using the note 9 and adding charge cycles to it. Sometimes it sits for months.
@@jrod8574 got it so you're getting 5+ after oneui 2.5
Update
So I wanted to purchase note 9
And saw few negative reviews about battery that's why asking people who have used and using may have different experiences and opinions to share
@@jrod8574 got it I either go for note 9 or note 10+
I Just say goodbye with my galaxy note9 3 days ago.. i love my note 9 had it for 2 years and this phone is superb! Like the spen cam shutter so much! but i just encounter some issues like the fingerprint scan, faded chrome and the screen issue.. i saw some update and software issue, Some amoled burn and shadows when i turn on the light mode. I suggest for some users of note 9, stay on DARK mode. So you wont be bothered on the amoled burn or the shadows on your screen.
And Dex is amazing.
Lol everyone is forgetting that the iris scanner works with your mask on :). I have intelligent scan and my finger print active, so with my mask on if my iris isnt scanned cuz my glasses fog up, I still got my finger print that works
Yup. Love that infrared iris scanner👍
Yeap that has come in use these days and its amazing
@@JosSerr-mw9fc funny how everyone skipped the whole entire 9 series of galaxy phones including the note 9 and it turns out that not ONLY are they STILLL relevant these days since phones havent changed in power or speed much from the 10nm 845 chipset, turns out the iris scanner if not facial recognition, is a MUST now. LmFAO! Oh how the tables have turned.
@@jrod8574 yeap tbh its 1 of the best phones all around... If it wasnt for the lack of ultrawide camera I wouldn't have the need to upgrade...
An sd card slot and headphone jack in a premium phone is hard to find these days so thats why i think the note 9 is still an mvp
Well see how it does with one ui 2.5, i was gonna upgrade to the FE but if wireless dex is coming to it i think ill just keep it a bit longer
Omg i can't believe i just got to discover about the status bar using the finger print gesture 😳

Im still using my Note 9 its been 3 years now....Just an amazing phone..the build quality is the best period. Battery didnt skip a beat..Money is no object an d i can pickup a note 20 in less then 1 minute but i dont see a reason to...I'll change it when Samsung stops supporting it...
Watching this on my note 9 right now lol
I bought my Note9 in October 2018! I still use it for my primary service! (We keep all our phones ... They are nice to let our kids use as undersized tablets. 😏) I use my SPen as a camera remote sometimes. You didn't mention that feature! 😁 I use the pen semi-frequently ... Though not as often as some may. I am still pleased with the phone 2 years later. It's tough because hubby and I always upgrade every 2 years after paying off a phone. But I want a smaller phone bill for a little while, so I am going to wait. Hubby upgraded in the Spring from the S9 to the S20 Ultra and our bill went up a lot. 😩 So ... I am going to continue to enjoy my Note9 for awhile still! 😊
I love my note 9, im still using it. And its the blue.
Which calendar app is in video you use?
copper one here the.best colour 512/8
Thanks for making ur videos funny and educative
Sad that the Note lineup is coming to an end...
It does not matter how many phones Samsung push out in the market, the note 9 is still very solid and the best by far.
POTATO! I have a couple family members who still use and love the Note 9...
I bought this phone 2 days before it first released. I've wanted to change phones for a year but could not find any other phone with the same or even comparable features. This is very much the last true actual "note".
The other notes lack that feel this has making it one of its kind...
Going 2 years strong with this beast...
I replaced my A71 with this phone, more premium, iris, jack, etc. Overall beast performance for daily used
Best decision
im using a50, and about to have this Note 9. Its def still worth it right?

Nice work, I really enjoy the outtakes included. Got yourself a sub :) Best of luck.
ive had this phone since day one and still use it and my only problems with it is the battery life is finally starting to show and my power button just fell out?
Same here bro...my volume button fell off...and i have this wired issue with my usb port...gives me a error there's moisture inside the port even though it's dry.
Guys, are you treating it well? Things falling off??
The pressure sensitive home button
Headphone jack
Iris scanner
Bezel less display without a popup
These are the things I can't live without
Note 9 was my last Samsung device before shifting to ONE PLUS (7T) ♥️♥️ was a great experience. But will never buy Samsung again bcoz of Exynos chip 👎
Same here. I went from redmi note 8 pro to s9 plus. The budget mediatek chipset performs so much better.

Unfortunately I don't even use it to the fullest extent but it does everything + more than I could or would even ask for.
If this phone could constantly be able to upgrade, software wise, I probably wouldn't even bother buying another phone again. Hahah.
I'm not a big pic or vid taker so the camera is fine with me, but I just love the way everything it has to offer and what I get out of it.
