That area is officially called "The Bone Yard". I always go there for my vulture tames. But they have tons of Rexs, scorpions, sabres, allos, spinos, argens, all kinds of choice tames. Always good levels too.

I've been playing Ark since it first came onto early access, and there have just been SOOOOO many changes. I remember before the Quetz; before the Anky, and Doed. My tribe used to go out on a group of Rexes for metal runs. If you think CP is rare now, it used to be so much worse. I'm a little salty about the flier nerf, but i will admit that it has given an actual sense of balance between the fliers. No longer will a Pteranodon be able to go from one end of the map to the other without landing faster than a Wyvern.

for your castle there is a structure in the castles/keeps mod that fills in the gaps on the battlements that you used. cant wait to see the finished castle
It's a pretty decent Yutyrannus, good job! The health is slightly lower than average, but the stamina and melee are a good eight to ten levels higher than that. If you ever get a Super Spyglass, then 26 levels pre-tame/37 levels post-tame for most animals and 30 levels pre-tame/45 levels post-tame for anything missing a stat (e.g Diplodocus, flyers, water-breathers) is better-than-average for a perfect 180.
I think there's just something about Yutys that makes birds supremely pissed off at everything in the local vicinity. When I was trying to KO one, I was hiding behind a rock on my iggy when a seagull chose to attack me directly before Yutyrannus-sempai noticed me. Maybe its floofiness makes them feel insecure?
I guess that thing you were talking about is either the highly requested pvp, or roleplaying (which I think would really feel like it fits on the ragnarok map)

The area near Viking Bay became this dangerous last update but I like this because it makes the area a lot more alive Also I use the vultures for protection from microraptors and some protection from the other stunning creatures (highest attack of any shoulder mount and the highest attack per health of any tamed creature) and preserving prime meat and mutton The cactus sap is also very useful, I plan to have flame arrows to fight high health creatures (I want to tame a mantis and you can't bring mounts inside to the ice cave)
Stat wise it's a pretty good starter. I play on official and we are working with 2128 stam, 9900 hp off 140 tames. I know a few others tamed out with higher HP (10.2k on my server). If your main focus with them is boss fights, level to 3k stam and dump rest in HP. Like you said, they are generals not combatants.
After looking up the stats on your Yuty it is pretty average for its level. It got the most points into melee and only 20 were wasted which is below average! I can't wait to get myself a griffin I feel like it will make taming stuff so much easier.
