This is probably yet another Eo Says Something Before The Video Ends moment, but with Purlovia it sounds like you could just reverse-dig the horse out by burrowing all the Purlovia in the way.
I noticed it last night, so for the follow distance, you have to hit 'H' for it to appear, and it disappears after a certain amount of time, it was a deliberate change in the last patch.
From the Patch Notes: "Removed "Distance: " label from "Following" Floating HUD. Now displays for 30 seconds after changing, and while the extended HUD is open (press-and-hold H key)"
Protip: If you have a dino you want to level, use it to kill the babies you don't want. Especially if the babies are high level, the amount of XP is pretty amazing. For best effect, keep a Lystro nearby.

The game not showing the following distance isn't a bug, it's a 'feature' of one of the recent patches. It should still show when you press H for the 'extra info' overlay.
Syntac i changed my loot drop to 2 times and I got an ascendant longneck rifle with 241% dmg. Much better balanced imo. I’m going to use a mind wipe and put all my points into crafting skill and see how high I can make it. I’m super excited.
How much time do you invest to look for perfect tames and within timeframes of which tasks do you keep a look out on the side? I invest currently most of my time into building and ressource gathering and rarely in these times have the mind for looking for perfect tames ...
Syntac im set the rates on my single player world the same as the ones u have, but the baby's grow up so fast that i cant even inprint once. Did some one mess with the rates that are writen in the doc u linked.
Also, with Follow Distance, that's a purposeful change- I believe you need to hold Extra Info button defaulted to H in order to see what the distance is on, or it shows up for about 30s once you change it. EDIT: I think the bug might be no-30s-view.

AlphaBlue56 its a server setting not a command you change it in the menu before loading the server in advanced settings near the bottom.
Do they have that setting for Console Players

Wildcard changed in the latest patch that it doesn't show follow distance anymore. So no bug, it is supposed to be a fix

Yea increasing the drop rate of supply drops by 5 is alot. I have mine set on 5 and i get ascendant stuff 90% of the time.
