I need Mix ready sounds in it, and more sounds in general :( This is the perfect opportunity for y'all to do it.
I am really impressed, not only by the great sounds but especially by the playability and dynamics when played on my Roland TD17. I am using the TD30 mapping preset right now and it works so much better than EZDrummer2 and AD2 so far. Thanks for this great free gift.... and I think the March offer is a no brainer. How much Disk Space would I need for the full version, there's nothing on the Specs Tab on your website unfortunately.
That "Tight" kit has almost got the same kind of vibe as Eric Valentine's "dead room" drum sounds on the third QOTSA album. Could definitely be tweaked (no pun intended) to achieve very similar results IMO. I prefer triggering plugin drums by physically playing on an E-Kit over merely programming them. If these free kits "feel" as good as they sound?! I'm freakin' SOLD Steven! Ha!

This plugin is a nightmare. I've tried six times to install it during past 2 days. After every install it works fine until I close DAW after first mixing session. Then it refuses to load and finally crashes the whole thing. I've tried to install it in different folders and hard drives, every time it maybe works a while and then crashes. The VST folder where all other plugins are worked only once. Then same thing with other folders I've tried. I assume the paid version does the same so thanks but no thanks. It's a pity though, it has quite nice drum sounds and versatile tweaking possibilities.
Sounds great is very easy to use. It has the best user interface for drums I've tried. This is gonna be my new goto plugin for acoustic drums for sure. Thank you very much!

I've installed new free version, but there is no new snare drum, no hugo kit. Also I set path to old SSD5 library while installing. Should I reinstall full new library for new snare drum?... Ok I reinstalled full new library and now new snare appear. Also new snare has only top bottom and one room mixer channels.
Velocity, sometimes VSTs have multiple samples for 1 pad with different velocity triggers but just changing velocity to 50-60% for your ghost notes will be close to ghost notes

Question: How do you trigger rim hit or rim shot on the snare? We have song where the drummer uses a lot of rim hits on the verses and on the chorus he uses the snare.
Did you purchase SSD recently? It should be the same thing, unless you downloaded SSD Free. If you downloaded SSD Free, you would need to purchase SSD5.5 separately
