Here’s another older video I had forgotten about...... This was a really cool dirt road, church, and graveyard. It was also super creepy that day. I can’t exactly explain why I felt so creeped out. Maybe it was too quiet out there. I also recall feeling like I was being watched at that cemetery. Regardless it was a neat place, and probably deserves a return visit.

John Laforte The dead knows Nothing...
Ecclesiastes 9:5,6 For the living know that they will die: but the *DEAD KNOW NOT ANYTHING* neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy, is *now perished* neither have they any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun.

@@johnlaforte700 ALL spirits belong to God (Ezekiel 18:4) and therefore will Return to him at the appointed time he calls that spirit out. Scriptures show that the saved & unsaved are spiritually sleeping either peacefully or in agony. The Saints are resting in *3rd part of the heavenly heavens* while the Sinners are in agony of living in the *Pits of hell* waiting for their appointed time. Which is the 2nd death for the sinners. Let the scriptures speak to you...
Isaiah 38:18 For the grave cannot praise you, death cannot celebrate you: they that GO DOWN INTO THE PIT cannot hope for your truth.
Psalm 115:17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.
Isaiah 57:21 There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.
Ezekiel 32:18 Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the *lower parts of the earth* with them that go DOWN INTO THE PIT.
Numbers 16:30 But if the LORD makes a new thing, and the earth opens its mouth, and swallows them up, with all that belongs unto them, and they *GO DOWN ALIVE INTO THE PIT* then you will understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
Proverbs 4:14-16 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. For they SLEEP NOT, except they have done mischief; and *THEIR SLEEP IS TAKEN AWAY*
Job 24:19 Drought & heat consume the snow waters: so does the grave to those which have sinned.
2 Kings 22:20 Behold therefore, I will gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered into your grave in PEACE… (RIP for the Saints)
Psalm 30:3 O LORD, you have brought up my soul from the grave: you have kept me alive, that I should not GO DOWN TO THE PIT.

Question for you and sorry this isn't meant for this site but cannot contact you in another other way BUT with that said...why do Blacks believe in God so much? As your ancestor was a slave from Africa with no religion during the late 1600's when the Spanish first began bringing slaves to America then other low life's began doing the same from America and all around the world. England sent their colored to America / owned by England at the time to clarify.... I do all kinds of research and am baffled by how dedicated African Americans are with our God...please help me understand. Forgive me if I've insulted you and other's. I need enlightened.

@@barbaraherron3796 im not insulted. U havent done ur done diligence. Its urs a lil arrogance on ur part. All man had a religion. If u study ur bible and history alongside it, africa was visited by apostles. One died on the continent. Ethiopia has been a Christian nation forever (coptic christianity). There were also jews that lived in ethiopia. Jews and christians worshipped the same God. Zipporah and her father worshipped God and were definitely black. Thats even before Christ. Remember the tower of babylon? When the people were scattered, they were scattered thruout the earth. U see, on the continent of africa, its not about race with black people-its about tribes. And all pagans european, black, asian, american worshipped the same demons/gods that nimrod constructed. Lets not forget that europe is REAL close to africa. REAL close. So when Christianity ride from jerusalem thru what we NOW call the middle east thru india, asia, AFRICA, and europe-hiw can it not touch us in west africa down to south africa? We all traded together.
Lol. Im still giggling that u thought we had no religion. We did. The same as caucasians- a pagan one from nimrod full of witchcraft and sorcery (which europeans, africans, pacific islanders, and asians STILL practice)

    • @ertfgghhhh
      @ertfgghhhh 4 ปีที่แล้ว +19

@@barbaraherron3796 i also need to mention that since u said "our God".....if u are a real believer in Christ, u would know that Iam belonged at first to the jews who werent european. Then with Christ , gentiles (nonjews) were allowed to belong to him. And if u are a follower of Christ, that means that God called u to follow Him. And uf i am correct, there was an african in scripture that phillip spoke to an african and that eunuch followed Christ. Before Christ, u had to become part of the israel to serve God. There were other peoples in the world (ex. Samaritans that repped God also). After Christ, His word spread thru europe, asia, africa, and there were converts. Dont forget about trade routes. Africa traded with the other continents. People moved around. How could we not know about the great Iam? And what did God do for us? He delivered us in 1975 across the united states (jim crow wasnt finished until about 1975. Supposed to be earlier but u know how people are. And im not speaking of just the south).

Nobody is free. It's an illusion.
"Free" is not being bound by contracts.
      "Free" is not paying taxes.
"Free" is not being forcefully man handled by officers of a corporation.
"Free" is not receiving letters mandating you to pay a debt.
"Free" is not paying for power.
"Free" is not paying for water.
"Free" is not paying for fuel.
"Free" is being able to travel freely at will without a "passport" license.
"Free" is not having to hold a driving license to travel in a carriage (car).
Too much to go in to now, it takes a lot of research but it stems back to the very first trust created thousands of years ago. It was fully implemented when they stole everyone's gold in 1933. Since then we've been using debt to pay for things.
      Things to research;
      Legal name fraud.
      Birth certificate fraud.
      Justinian Deception.

I feel like they’re always hiding anything related to slavery! My husbands family was along with others at the Keith Plantation in cherokee county, Canton, Georgia. The house is still there!! Different owners but no one wants to convince anyone to save it. That was a HUGE slave owner and a lot of awesome stories attached to all of them! The master actually gave Philip Keith hundreds of acres of land and that’s what had created the Pea Ridge and nineteen community off of Hwy 140 Waleska. (Black and native Indians) A lot of the families are still there and still effected by a lot of what happened over the years.
Also... you have a Good heart with what your doing! My husband and I have cleaned up two slave cemeteries in the same county. Hickory Log And Zion Saint Paul. I get a certain feeling when I’m doing them justice! I feel it’s always a lumber company or a power company that always buys the land around old black churches. Maybe to just to do away with the history.

And youth know nothing of what took place, because we know their not going to write it down for people to read. I think they are ashamed of themselves for what happened.
If they stopped and looked at history, the slaves worked hard to start this country

I love how you “read” the inscriptions with your fingers Robert...you always manage to work out most of what’s inscribed, no matter how old.
It’s a shame the church doesn’t appear used any more, but perhaps the local population has dispersed so much there aren’t enough folk.
Love your adventures...living here in the U.K. I get to travel all round interesting places with you and your friends, for which I thank you all.

Sometimes I watch these and I can't help but get a little choked up inside and then there are times I just want to give Robert a hug. Creepy I’m from A dry rural area of Mississippi called Kilmichael Mississippi and these types of churches are found in our town and as I can tell by the sounds of crickets in the background it’s getting ready to be dark soon and I tell you the truth YOU DONT wanna be caught alone after dark There are NO street lights on those back roads and finding your way out the country will be an adventure... It will be pitch Black SOON! and It is NO FUN... my great great grand mother used to tell us stories about those back roads and she witnessed strange things in those parts..

That creepiness you felt in the cemetery could have been the old sentinels (angels) standing watch. Another TH-camr from Miami, Miami Ghost Chronicles, had gone to a couple of cemeteries near where I grew up in Florida and had made mention of them. She was in Okeechobee County. Pretty countryside but not as desolate as where you were.
Thank you for lifting those stones back and for cleaning the broken branches from the dead tree. These videos just amaze me that there are families that are forgotten in death.

Ya know I saw once in another TH-cam video that to see the dates-you rub a little bit of shaving cream on to it...scrap it off with a plastic spatula/plastic putty knife (so as not to scratch the headstone) and what’s left of it will fill into the names, dates, etc....and then carry a bottle of water or spray bottle of water to rinse it off! No harm, no foul!

Some counties, states, etc. have laws that require old cemeteries be relocated "intact" meaning headstones and the deceased remain together. Occasionally unmarked graves are found during the leveling of land and all work ceases until there is a search for more unmarked graves, etc.. I think most of the unmarked graves are 1800s and very early 1900s.

Robert, Brian and Cody. I hold a high deal of respect and regard for you. You take your own time to clean-up these Cemeteries. I am certain the spirits of those resting there love and appreciate what you do. I know I do. I am always picking up trash at the Methodist Cemetery up the road. I've made quite a few friends there. I can speak to the departed. The children, especially are drawn to me. So it's more special when you can actually communicate with those resting. But even if it's not something you can do, or it's simply not your thing, the spirits will appreciate that someone out there cares enough to spiffy up their resting places. It's very sad that some Cemeteries are forgotten about. Thank you so much.
