Thank you for addressing the missing in Greece. The missing in have been brought for now according the media but also the government has been investing more and more in search and rescue (training, helicopters, boats, drones etc). Some have been found but others haven't. Maybe the government knows something they are not saying? Thank you again.
One time when I was 18 I was out drinking with friends in my small hometown inn Maine; I got in a short scrap with one of my friends and he bested me, and I had a cut above my eye that was bleeding badly. Right next to the school parking lot we were in was a tiny little stream. Drunk and in a daze I purposely scrambled down the banking to wash my head and get a drink of water because I was severely parched having been drunk and fighting. I don’t fall in, and it was warm that night, but there is a swift current there, and had it been cold and I had fallen in, I can easily see how even a strong swimmer could quickly get exhausted or succumb to hypothermia.
This is tragic. Matthew should not have come to such an end. Nothing good happens in such cities to a young person out alone and on their own. I just finished reading "Missing 411 A Sobering Coincidence." This death does exactly fit in this book. I lived in a dangerous eastem city when I was the age of Matthew when he disappeared. It is a miracle I lived through it unscathed. 2 friends of mine did not. All I can think is God was watching over me. 🙏
My first thought when I heard about this seeming spate of young men disappearing after a night out drinking and then found in a nearby waterway, is that there is some crafty serial killer who stalks them after they leave the bars alone, and probably after finding a way to administer rohypnol or some other incapacitating drug, and makes their move when opportunity strikes. It’s probably like a game to them. Sometimes they strike out so they try their hunting game another night. There’s no shortage of young folks living their lives looking for fun fueled by copious amounts of alcohol. I was one of them back in my late teens back in the heady 80’s. I wonder if it could even be the work of one individual. Maybe he makes it his vacation time off from a respectable job to make a killing. Picks a random city near water with a busy nightlife. I dunno, that just came to me after watching this. He could have a passport and travel abroad. Or copycats getting in on the evil fun. Just like all those indigenous women in western Canada that are murdered. There are too many victims for that not to be some form of planned slaughter. There was that American trucker - was it the Green River killer? who may have murdered hundreds before detection. Would be easy for them once they have a system to pull into a stop along their route and pick off an innocent. This is a horrifying yet beautiful world we live in and we don’t know what’s in the mind of others we encounter and live around. I remember when I was babysitting for my nephews in Belleville when one of Russell Willams’ victims was missing from the area. And my husband is high up working on a nearby military base. You never truly know someone nor what evil is lurking in their dark hearts.

Happened to me in Malta, but I'd been warned by Maltese Police, who 10minutes prior stopped the car told me many robbers many bad men at the Blue Grotto, and there were, they wanted my son an Australian man said leave my son with him he was a millionaire owned large houses on Malta. I saw this man and the young rent boy with him what they were. I left all the car doors open they had searched it,nothing in it. The first man.Has anyone investigated whether his family got life insurance payout.I could envisage a scenario where an older man either with or without the knowledge of his partner(probably not the kids) maybe has financial problems that will affect the family or his legacy .Maybe the couple feels like separating and spending the last years leading a whole new life.A plot to disappear and collect life insurance for the benefit of his wife and kids.and he got on a boat with the help of this couple,to maybe live out his days in Morocco or some other fascinating and obscure place.Everyone is happy in this scenario if a payment ensued the declaration of his death.If anything like that occurred,I say good luck to them.At least they arent dead
Hi Dave, did you follow the Michael Mosley case on the isle of Symi, Greece? Very similar to the case of Mr Tossel. He was a famous tv doctor from the UK, who disappeared on a very clear and obvious path. Body found miles away from where he was walking and they can’t determine a case of death beyond ‘natural causes’, officials implying it was the heat. Sorry if you mention this in the video, I watched this one I when it aired and have just come back to comment after being reminded of the Mosley case.
