for some reason the motion of opening a door knob didn't work for me, but forcing my thumb to go down and then outward totally makes a lot more sense to me lol. thanks
It took me about 10 days to perfect the triplet. Down thumb 👎, up thumb 👍, up index ☝️. And maybe 5 more to get the middle finger into a quadruplet. The hardest part I've found is making your fingers sound as percussive and clear on the up plucks as they are on the down thumps with the thumb.
I tried playing with this for a little while, but I couldn't really find a use for it, so I stopped practicing it. I'll probably experiment with it more in the future. You picked it up really fast. The regular slapping stuff you started with was also dope. Love from NJ.
