What does your name for the channel mean? I think your channel name might be setting people back. Just my view. I'm not trying to be rude in anyway. It's just that your work is so well done, and I watched hours of it before I subscribed, because I don't understand what the name means. Don't change the name, just give a 3 second thing at the beginning telling what in means. I see Kino alot, but I have no clue what it means, and Okolo is new to me as well. I'm sorry if I offend from my ignorance, I am only trying to help. You can delete my comment if you like.

I'm very pleased to find out there's two more parts to this documentary.
I thought it was a definitive work on Tarantino and a very enjoyable watch.
Never did care for NATURAL BORN KILLERS and now I know why.
I always loved TRUE ROMANCE which was from his earlier days with an unforgettable fight scene in a motel room but surprised it was directed by Tony Scott who did MAN ON FIRE with Denzel, his finest performance IMO. Scott was a very fine director and I'm pleased he had that connection to Tarantino. The writing just leaps off the screen.

Being born in 1977 the coming of Tarantino was nothing less than perfect timing. Watched 'em all as they came out. Though Reservoir Dogs didn't reach Denmark until shortly before Pulp Fiction went to the cinema. He will always be one of my two favorite directors - Verhoeven being the other. Even though he (Tarantino) was best up until Kill Bill I can still appreciate the later film.
I found Once Upon A Time... really good. Maybe the best since Jackie Brown.

Kill Bill was Tarantino's first movie I watched as a kid, so imagine that a 8-years-old kid watches something like that is kind of shocking and violent. Then, I saw Pulp Fiction, Inglourious basterds, and also his misunderstood masterpiece "Death Proof". Furthermore, I had the chance to see "Once upon a time in Hollywood", which was a love letter towards that Hollywood classic in the late 60's.

Yes im not a huge fan of *Inglorious Bastards* like all the rookie Tarantino fans are , i grew up with his films since the 90's & seen both *Kill Bill* volumes & *Inglorious Bastards* in theaters & watched them a billion times but they were never special to me like his films from the 90's & i flip the channel when they're on TV , i don't do that with the others so thats how i know which are my favorites cuz i never get sick of those ones👍 honestly get kinda tired of hearing about Tarantino these days probably because i first saw *Pulp Fiction* on VHS at the age of only 8 or 9 back in 94 , it was a movie my moms bf wanted to see & i loved it especially the beginning scenes even at such a young age because i always had a morbid fascination for that kinda stuff even as a kid so i became a instant fan & showed all my friends that film & rented it again at a video store so they could see it but....i didn't know a decade later that he would become a household name with *Kill Bill* & then a worldwide phenomenon after *Inglorious Bastards* especially with all the new Tarantino fans but as a Veteran fan , i also grew up with Sergio Leone & Sergio Corbucci films & Ennio Morricones music thanks to my Italiano father especially the Dollars trilogy too so all this is very old stuff to me & i have to say that his 90's films are alot more nostalgic to someone like myself even today
Im still waiting for my table at Jack Rabbit 🐇 Slim's for my Bloody 🍔 & my burnt to a crisp but bloody ass hell 🥩 & my 5$ milkshake ❤️ I still own the laminated menu from the *Pulp Fiction* collection dvd 😁

*5# Once Upon A Time In Hollywood*
Honorable mentions : *Jackie Brown* *Four Rooms* , *Natural Born Killers* *Kill Bill* & *Hateful Eight* !!!!!

The story how Willis became Butch went down a little different than as it has been presented here. Interesting details have been changed or overseen:
Willis was a massive fan and knew all the lines from RD by heart. True. That Q had a new script ready Keitel passed on to Willis. They almost lived next door. So when Tarantino showed up at Keitel's pool party Willis was there and already had read the piece. He approached Q kindly. He wanted to be in the picture AND play Vincent. Well, Travolta was set. They took a walk along the beach together towards Willis place. He then even tryed on Jules! Turning him into some kind of hippy surfer dude. Not knowing that the role was written and then set particular for Jackson somewhere far I could maybe imagine Willis to pull it off. In another Universe perhaps. There can be only one Jules like there can only be one Vincent. Back then Bruce Willis would have been a massive win for the the movie at the time but Tarantino could not offer him any of these two roles. He could certainly not afford to loose Willis from the project. He also really wanted him in. Q couldn't rest this evening and finally called Willis persuading him sort of to read the script again from the perspective of Butch and sleep over it. They settled for it right the next day.

Where did 1:02:11 just go?? That was phenomenal...thx to everyone concerned
Edit: I love all his 90's main output but imma just give Jackie Brown the props it truly deserves here...his most human film imho, its an understated (for q!) classic and extremely well cast and acted, just great cinema

The fact that Tarantino chose Travolta over Daniel Day Lewis for Pulp Fiction is insane.

Fun fact: the woman dancing in the bikini on the tv in four rooms is Salma Hayek. Robert Rodriguez also was responsible for her doing that. Thank you Robert!!
