    • @ElijahShakeerEley6243
      @ElijahShakeerEley6243 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Amazing Stud maybe it would be a good country with high GDP, education,and healthcare. If you along with other people believed in their Nations instead of immigrating to places like the US you could probably turn Nigeria into a fully,economical,developed ,country. Don't get me wrong If a small country can have less poverty(35%) than bigger and better Nations like China, Russia,UK England,US America,and South Africa I'm pretty sure it could be to. Hell maybe you could even transform Nigeria into a future Numbani or Wakanda.

      +BLACK TIGRESS Lagos Nigeria is a beautiful place. However, this video doesn't even show the beautiful places in the state. It only shows the average, what the typical person on the street sees daily...
      As for the situation of things, it all depends if you have a good job or steady income...That affects the way you live here. You don't have to too rich to enjoy Lagos.. Lots of tourist here who visit the state monthly.

      +Andrew G Its typical of most foreign media to paint terrible pictures of African countries. They always tend to ignore the average and good sides and only show bad sides.
      In this video for instance, I showed just the average part..
      Its just sad and at the same time weird that they report this way.

    • @TheHairloveundone
      @TheHairloveundone 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately I have to disagree about “bad parts”. Majority of our people don’t have access to what you have. I think CNN did a good job in establishing that fact so that some of elites and Nigerians who who live the middle class life would understand how the rest of Nigeria lives. I think CNN wanted to establish the need for reformation of infrastructure to benefit majority of Nigerians who unfortunately live in squalor. Nice video though.

      this is our problem. keep deceiving yourself that Lagos is all beautiful. when someone portrays the true ugly image of our country we turn a blind eye because we refuse to accept it. There are developed sides of the city/country but the overwhelming side and true portrayal of the country is what was shown. we have to accept that and think of how to improve that

    Imagine some white person coming along and making this style of African music..... then the western media turning around and say that that white person is the greatest African artist ever. That is basically what's going on with Eminem - rap/hiphop is black music - and Eminem doesn't qualify to be the best or even represent the genre. Its OUR cultural contribution to the world - and you culture vulture will NOT steal it and try to white-wash it like you have done with so many of our things.
    Love the music bro. Keep doing your thing.

      So im guessing you would be upset if a black classical artist wascrowned as one of the best classical musicians in the world? A genre 100% created by Europeans? No, you wouldnt. So shut the fuck up.

      +Olan Abiodun I made this video about 2months ago before this current CNN video on Parts Unknown - Lagos Nigeria.. Most foreign media don't show the average they only show the poor part, and the effect of this paints Nigeria as unhabitable in some sort..
      That's why I made this to show the average (not the rich or poor) from my opinion

New York is VERY VERY VERY nasty, grimey, crime ridden, smells like piss and the ppl will rob u and are rude. stop being hypnotized by flashing lights and tall buildings. the air and water here is filthy and disgusting. poverty, homelessness, and mentally ill drug abusers just lay around on the park benches and streets begging, sleeping, fucking, and getting high. your children arent safe and the dirty cops are racially charged fat headed donut eating serial killers that will shoot u just because its Tuesday. their rats are the size of large puppies and there is literally garbage EVEEYWHERE. Manhattan is supposed to be clean but its nasty asf like the rest.

    • @henrytudor8537
      @henrytudor8537 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      AdemolaVictorTv that makes it all the more dissapointing. It is the sick that needs a doctor. On the development index, South Africa has a 66% HDI, Nigeria has a 52%. (Note Japan has a 90%). Now if you take a street view of a typical Pretoria, Cape town, Johburg, Durban, Port Eliza and I could mention more cities in South Africa, you will see that Nigeria still has a Long Long Long way to go in catching up to them.
      Let alone someone wants to tell me USA has poor areas? The inequality in USA is at the same level as nigeria (42% Gini coefficient). The difference is that whilst nigerias per-capita GDP is $6000, USA is $55000, leaving their HDI at 92%. Its not worth comparing. Anyone who does is deciving himself. Nigeria should learn to keep abreast with other parts of the world. Japan does not look like europe. It looks like Japan. But U can tell its highly developed. Same with many other countries like Singapore, Malaysia, etc.
      Pls enlighten yourself bro and make a change. Satisfying yourself in this position is not helping anyone.

    • @AdemolaVictorTv
      @AdemolaVictorTv  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Amazing Stud I totally understand your view of this, and you aren't wrong about it.
      However, you should take into account that Nigeria is a country of about 200 million people, corruption among many politicians is very high and the country is about 57years old...
      Obviously the country can do better, but these limitations is a serious issue to our development.
      Note. The video I made was not to show Nigeria is beautiful or just as developed like U.S, Japan, UK.. I just wanted to show the average view from my perspective usually ignored by the typical media.
      I'm total not satisfied with the state of the country, and I know we can do a lot better..

    • @henrytudor8537
      @henrytudor8537 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      AdemolaVictorTv we are trying to communicate bro. The mainstream media shows part of nigeria that actually exist. I am a Nigerian from Jos precisely and love my state as shitty as it is. I see so much unused potential. But that being said, I live in England. I know what " Poor places" in England looks like. Trust me those places are highly developed and you would wonder who and why someone would call it poor.
      Nigeria has about 200million people, that my dear is a fundamental problem. Nigeria beign a Lazy country that depends so much on natural endowments does not need that kind of population. I have been a side activist for Nigerians to reduce their birth rate..it can help in the future.
      Also, Corruption is a wicked vice. No doubt..but its our bad and we have to solve it and stop blaming the MSM for showing us as we truly are.
      I know what relatively decent part of Nigeria looks like (From Calabar to Akwa Ibom to Gombe) but its still miles apart from what a not good parts of populated countries like China looks like.
      We better step up and keep abreast with the world. We the youths are the ones to fix this problem our parents created.
      Not trying to force the world to see a part of us that hardly represents the life of the average Nigerian..
