I was in Lagos in thruout July-August and there's so much improvement, in fact, the major roads and 3rd mainland bridge have been relayed, some reconstructed and now zero pot holes all through from mainland driving to island. Lots of ongoing projects including metro rail lines. The future is bright. Good job you did and nice visuals.

@@hopeponi676We know you and you just showed your colour. Keep it up. Anyway, that won't change the leading position of Lagos.

Abuja beats Lagos in terms of urban planning, layout, road network, greenery etc. Lagos is not well planned, apart from the Island, the city just grew organically without town planning, reason it looks disorganised.
Some areas need to be pulled down and rebuilt esp on the mainland

All i want is for the government to prioritize human development. I mean a city where cholera , typhoid is still existing bcos of poor sanitation says a lot about how the government is investing in human development. Primary health care is still not standard. 70% of homes in Lagos lack access to water supply. Many depending on boreholes only the rich and those middle class (that still exist) provide their water through overhead water tanks. So, i am not denying their works but they need to prioritize human development. Corruption is also another issue

We all know the problems of Nigeria!
We all really and truly know!
But it is disappointing and a little vexing when Nigeria is shown good light for all to see, only to have ugly criticism like yours!
I am all for criticism when and where it is necessary, (and i can be harsh too) just as i am also for praise when and where that is also necessary!
A society needs landmarks/benchmarks from which to operate to attain or maintain.
This video shows Lagos has some ambitions!
Note also that till the day you pass on, Lagos or Nigeria would never be perfect, because advancement and development and progression are a constant!!!
In other words, learn to give credit where it is due!
      👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!

You just talked with your lack of understanding of what PROCESS is. You talked about cholera and the rest. If they give you the visa of UK now you will jump at it. Are you aware that some decades or centuries ago, those whites you admire today were once throwing faeces and urine from their windows down. This is no joke or prank at all. They were practically doing so all over the city of London. Cholera you complained about broke out and many died. Same thing in many parts of Europe. That led them to series of researches and they overcame those challenges. Today, many of you think UK, US, EU, Canada and the rest just descended from heaven like that. They too have gone thru what we are going thru presently. Nigeria is surely coming out of it gradually despite the hate of her citizens to their country.
You are free to be bitter for one reason or the other. But it won't change the situation. It won't stop the ongoing development despite what you term as lack of human capital development. When this government call for development program, same people like you will bad mouth it and will not attend. When they introduced school loan, many of you castigated it and poison the minds of others. Today, many are enjoying it.
Yes, Nigeria is not their yet but we are on the path of predictable progress with the ongoing reforms being carried out. Certainly, we will get there. If you expect Nigeria to be at the level of Europe and America in just four years of a regime, you are wasting your time. You better adjust your expectations. It took UK over 300 years and America over 200 years to be where they are today. Nigeria is just 64 and there is hope.
      May Nigeria Succeed
