Uh... it's not a big deal? Like, I hate the Heat Series, the driving is atrocious, but this is just a minor graphical bug. Tbh it looks cool as hell, it looks like you're racing at the dawn of an apocolypse or something! That's a good ass bug to have if you ask me.
if you look at the light reflections on the cars on the straight-away, they reflect the sun as well as some randomly placed floodlights! It doesn't even matter which straight-away, either.

This, no big hoss at texas sometimes, depends on series, and the restart zone at new Hampshire is awful. Plus the monster energy and nascar heat 4 logos still in the game

I remember where on nascar, before the reinvention of heat, a restart was tricky like in real life. For instance, tires would spin, hard to handle, u get to choose what lane 1st place starts in, etc

I think what happened was instead of the day to night transitions during the stages, when you do a regular race i feel like they just all combined into one

Welcome to 704 games. Even the when the game is "properly" developed it still has a shit ton of bugs and missing races

What happened to "support the game and developers". I know a lots changed but it was obvious this game wasn't gonna be good. I can't blame you on saying support the developers fully.
Well given the fact that the game is buggy as hell, he has every right to call out 704Games for rushing the release date and pointing out the various bugs and glitches in the game. I had a feeling that the game would end up like this at launch with the July release date, and I was proven right. I’ll still buy the game, but only when 704Games patches up and fixes it.

i know a lot of people have their gripes especially about heat 5. but gameplay-wise this game is solid. luckily adding modes/immersion is a lot easier than fixing broken, garbage gameplay. not an excuse for putting out an unfinished game, but it could be in a lot worse spot than it is
I know people are criticizing the game and all, but I haven’t experienced any of these glitches and have enjoyed the game so far. career mode is tougher which was what I wanted. I also want to point out that the game has only been out for 2 weeks. When I first got Forza horizon 4 it had more bugs than any game I have ever had so nascar heat 5 bugs are nothing.
Since your not playing Iracing for now please run a race in the cockpit view

It looks like the track is in the evening but the sky looks like night, probably a glitch because there aren't any day to night transitions due to no stages.

Its an Armageddon race!! LOL! I have the PS4 version and two silly bugs I've told them about are my created car's wheel color no matter what I choose switches to a "Ryan Blaney" neon-yellow. Also in my truck career, I signed with KBM in the 51, yet my "number icon" shows number 99. Small cosmetic gripes, but yeah I agree with you. Small tests and patch fixes need to happen.
Watching Radman be tight in the corners and slide up the racetrack while the other cars stick to the bottom, and SIMULTANEOUSLY say his car was driving great triggered me beyond belief🤣🤣

Homestead is my almost home track (it is the closest to me) and this is what florida looks like during storms
balnced racecars are tight I like trimmed out and LOOSE so it rotates in the midcorner
i know you dont want to have 10 million cautions every race but at the same time these "relaxed cautions" are gonna end up screwing you over one of these races

I Just had that happen to me this morning It looks like they got the Track lighting and Sky lighting mixed up it is kind of creepy.
They should make penalties realistic for example if you speed they dont tell you for 2-3 laps and then you have to make a pass throw penalty

I like Heat 5 it just has a few unacceptable glitches. I still think it’s worth my money and I agree with supporting the developers, you can’t get better and better at a game for 3 consecutive years. It’s hard to do because you run out of things to add.

If you do strict yellows but turn the mechanical failures on infrequent it produces lots of green flag racing with few cautions.

Hey listen to this! I play on PS4 and I’ve had numerous occasions where I would pit under caution with just a little bit left in the race and it would make me lose around 30 spots, even though every other car pit to. And I took less fuel and didn’t do any repairs.
Not going to lie... that looks pretty damn cool. It's a bug that needs fixed, yeah... but it'll just look cool until they fix it.

I just want to continue my career past the truck finale. Tired of driving the 3 star Spire #77 on the other account. At least I am getting a lot of practice between that and the playoffs. Game lags and acts like it wants to crash in the replays occasionally. They need to fix who runs well on the AI too. Bobby carter should run in the very back not winning and making the playoffs. Aric Almirola is apparently a god on road courses along with stenhouse. No disrespect to Newman but on the seasons I have done he has a Harvick like season while guys like Harvick himself and Chase really struggle. Jimmie Johnson runs like 30th every race, etc on and on.

to add fuel to the fire, I tried starting a custom championship with Dale Jr. after today's update and the game crashed lol. No way that was tested out.

Honestly, I'm a huge NASCAR game fan. But once you play f1 2020. It doesn't even seen close. I really do feel they pasted heat 4 to heat 5 and added bugs. If they didn't have a better engine coming next year, I'd definitely be asking for a refund. $70 for early access of an early access game. Turning into EA more and more by the game

This game just seems unfinished on so many fucking levels. From the steering to the graphics to the customization to the UI
Literally had the game for 2 months just trying to win a Nascar race because the dirt races and trucks are a breeze but why is everyone 2-3 seconds faster than me and even if i catch up they just boost off and keep going 10-20 miles faster than me and if im infront one small mess up like a negative in speed by even just 1 mph and i will get passed no matter what
Best part about everyone having their career stats tracked is that after one year they are completely wrong for every AI driver! Also fun when I sim Pocono double header and Bobby fucking Carter and Joey Gase win. Shit game.

With everything going on in NASCAR, I have switched over to F1. Then I discovered F12020. I haven’t touched NASCAR heat since.
