As we wait for more info about Netflix's Bioshock Movie, I came up with a few more suggestions to make it the best it can be. First video here: • 5 Things I Hope They K...
I do think flashbacks to pre-war Rapture could work, if they focus on Tenenbaum as the main character for those scenes. Her arrival at Rapture, her past with WW II, and culminating in the creation of a Little Sister. This would only work if they made it a series instead of a movie though. Also if it was made by HBO rather than Netflix lol
So at the ending part, I like the idea of Jack growing up as an old man, wondering if he have control or if he would close the door when the shopkeeper says would you kindly close the door there’s a giraffe I like that idea, but I think there should be a fight scene at the end it would be so nice and I just you know see it so many years ago and got used to that. Remember, we are talking about fans of the old game here so come on adding a little fight here or there the final fight I know your idea it’s really good don’t get me wrong but come on. I have that final fight scene.
5:29 you know funny how you mention suit design. I recently saw a video about this one person in creating their own bio sock suits for fun and you have like a couple of dollars worth I’m asking what a big time movie company can do.
My only issue is it shouldn't be a movie. I just got done playing Bioshock 1 & 2 for the first time in years since they first came out, and getting back into them I was pleasantly reminded of how much STORY and lore there are in these games. You can show so much about Ryan's History, Fontaine's history, Tenenbaum's, the state of the world before and after Rapture being created, the parents and families of the Little Sister's, history of the Big Daddy's, different people's experiences in Rapture, before and after it's fall. There's SO MUCH. And it's topical, with the 1%'s and everyday people today, turbulent governments and the times we live in. WHY confine that to a movie's length? This most definitely deserves a good 8-10 episode show, with multiple seasons based on a single game, or the series as a whole.I'm hoping they can convince some executive or decision maker to realize the greatness of the overall series and give it what it deserves🤞🙏🤩
Agreed, I would love for it to be a show and each episode could be named after each chapter/plot point. The first episode would be called Welcome to Rapture and the last being Apollo Square.
9:29 at the end of the video game in spoilers by the way Jack don’t 100% become a big daddy is more of a genetic redesigning of his voice and pheromones and slightly be bigger. He can take off the helmet at Will oh well I’m mostly sync that and British tenant bomb about way in the other bio so it revealed that she can certainly help someone get out of the suit
I really hope they take the production seriously and don't give it cheesy low-budget production where the splicers and Big Daddies look cartoonish or like they just rolled out of the 1997 Mortal Kombat 2 movie. All the Bioshocks were one of those rare games where I was almost more invested in the storyline and aesthetics than the gameplay as I spent the longest time admiring everywhere I went. I really hope they make the film at least as atmospheric as the game with echoes, ambient sounds, darkness, environmental story-telling, and Art Deco. Rapture itself is a character. The settings should be beautiful and realistic, yet very unsettling. He is stranded alone in a city of a few survivors and many maniacs.
I feel like if you have the right lighting designer, there's a way to do it minimally and still effective, but if it's cheap AND poorly lit we'll ALL KNOW
Like before these are really good pitches. Especially with the ending. The only thing I would add is maybe have the plasmids actually affect Jack the more he uses them, like with the Splicers. This would utilise something never touched on the games and add more tension, don’t you think?
I would love if its bioshock one, for jack to at one point to see a vita-chamber with delta in it.
Its Netflix, it will not be good.
Maybe if they lean hard into the true crime documentary vibe they do so well 😐
@@davecolumbo Rapture files! YES true crime doc set in Rapture. I didnt know I wanted this XD
I know BioShock inf isnt a popular opinion but something like booker dewitt private and public investigations would be a cool show

im so scared for some reason lol
as much as i wanted a Movie to happen for years.
the closer it gets the more i think "maybe we should not do that". 😅
I just heard the news the budget got cut and they are going to do something more small scale... THAT... IS ... NOT... Good.
100% put subject delta's corpse/sleeping body in the background of a shot
See that would be cool but subject Delta off him self in The Adonis luxury resort and we as Jack don't go anywhere near the Adonis luxury resort

It sure would be nice if one of the games I liked would be made into a movie or a show... Bioshock, Half-Life, ect..

we need hand-made subtitles. This topic is rarely brought up and it should be available to everyone

9:24 only using the suit and pheromones not a bad idea
I pray to god that this movie turns out well.

Its gonna need the vibe/, lighting of stranger things. Specifically the beginning of the first episode of season 1
I think bioshock movie should be a prequel to bioshock 1
Fallout is on Amazon Prime
Netflix step #1 - black Andrew Ryan
Nice vid
@@di71m0s thanks for watching!
Your criticism of Infinite got me wondering, what would your version of that game look like if you'd written it?
bioshock 2 be better for movie

Man, this could be so damn good. Or it could be absolutely horrible
Bioshock is my favorite game and I’d love to see the movie
